2 missed appointments by Technician: [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a scheduled appointment on a Friday, in the morning for a termite inspection. The day of the appointment, at the time of the appointment, I received a txt message from the technician mentioning that they would not be able to make the appointment as they were double booked. He proposed to re-schedule the appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had already taken the morning off to meet the technician, with hours and income loss. But, I decided to re-schedule for the upcoming Tuesday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tuesday comes around, and again I take time-off work and income loss to meet with the Technician, and they don't show up the appointment. This was the second time of missed work and income. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reached out to the Company to advice them and they prompted that they could reschedule me, but at this point my trust was already broken. He did, however, see evidence of rodents and told us how they were getting into the crawlspace of our house which is a rental. I'm beginning to feel scammed by this company. I signed up for service last year and they charge me $54/month for "quarterly service" but they said I could call them anytime in between for extra service if I see some pests. My experience with HomeShield has been excellent so far. We hired them for an initial extermination and ongoing quarterly maintenance. Jonathan P., our technician, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient during the first appointment--he took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Living next to a large field, we deal with a lot of bugs. Jonathan suggested a follow-up visit with stronger outdoor pesticides, which I wouldn't have thought to request on my own. He also left glue traps and ant traps for me to place around the house, which was very helpful. At the follow-up appointment, he thoroughly treated all the outdoor areas with the stronger pesticide. Since the first visit, we've noticed a lot of dead bugs--gross to clean up, but a clear sign that the treatment is working.
