If it was just about the customer service I would give this a 5-Star, but that's only half of the battle. So the food is really just average. The types of flavors that they have get you excited like "garlic jalapeño" but it's a let down with the flavor profile. Everything comes out fresh, I'll give them that but the flavors are just O.K. We even tried the fried rice étouffée, nothing that wowed us. The fried shrimp even though it was butterflied it had the shrimp poop in some of the pieces. Which shows inconsistency. Yummmy Yummmy Yummmy! This hidden gem will definitely blow you awayyyy. Their rice is fluffy, shrimp well done (you can peel it with no problem) the sausage is amazing and the crawfish is so goood. Very cute and quaint little restaurant. It def gives more of a take-out vibe than a sit in. My friends and I went on Halloween, and there was a little karaoke party there. It def took us out of our element, but we can appreciate the positive energy. As for the food, I got their signature Krav'n fried rice in the spicy level-- while I thought it was a good level of spice, my friends thought it was too spicy. I'm a bit of a spice freak though so it's hard for me to find something that really makes me sweat. I think the flavor overall was pretty good albeit it needed more salt imo. I find that their signature kravin sauce to be a little too thick (like a gravy texture) and heavy to be incorporated into the fried rice-- because of that texture, it made the fried rice soggy. However, the garlic butter mussels (seafood boil) they offered was delicious and the portion sizes over all (for all the food) were generous for the price. The fried catfish was pretty standard and didn't stray away from what I expected from a Cajun place. It is nice to find a local Viet Cajun restaurant nearby so I would def come back to try their crawfish and other seafood boils. I wouldn't get their kravin fried rice again and would opt in for a different flavor. Overall the experience was interesting and the staff was kind. read more

Second time here. First time was great. Great food and friendly server. Decided to go back a second time and a simple kitchen mistake on both our orders made this visit drastically different. Ordered the garlic butter mild crawfish. The meet was sticking to the shells and would not come out. When we spoke to the person behind the counter which I believe is the owner she told us the use a timer and that I liked them last time. She continued to tell us how correct it was and then continued to argue about how there was nothing wrong when we wanted to leave and pay our full $50 tab and leave. This place had went overlooked. We live nearby and we never had the opportunity to try it. My wife is a huge crawfish enthusiast so we got to the chance to stop by. The restaurant inside isn't very huge it's small and quaint. Our first time being here (like any spot we go to eat) we like to try a bit of everything on the menu. We ordered 3lbs @$8.99/lbs. Every 2lbs comes with one corn and potato, and they throw in 2 cups of butter to go with it, 2 Coronas @$3.50 which is better than other seafood joints that try to charge almost $5 for each beer. The crawfish we got in their garlic butter at the HOT level, they were really a good size, packed with flavor, and easy to peel, and their Hawaiian fried rice that came with thinly cut beef, shrimp, and pineapple chunks. The owner recommended we try it spicy so when they served us up it was really the star of the show. It came covered in a good blend of garlic and whatever spice they used to give it some good heat and that paired with the pineapple chunks in it helped cut the spicy sauce if it became "too much". That itself was 10/10 and I definitely recommend. The owner was sweet and genial and was helpful giving us suggestions for our first time there so all of that made it an overall great experience. 11/10 will be back again. read more
