Terrible Experience with Bayshore Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Service Department I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with the new car service department at Bayshore Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. I dropped off my truck on Thursday to have the active grill shutter inspected due to a possible wiring issue or failure. After waiting over 3 hours for a response from the service advisor, Mark Proctor, I decided to leave and wait for a follow-up call. Near the end of the business day, I finally received a call informing me that the grill shutters were unresponsive and needed replacement. I was also told that my water pump was leaking. This turned out to be completely false. My water pump was not leaking, but I was still charged for a replacement. When I asked the service tech, Landon, to show me the leak he claimed was coming from behind the pulley, no one could provide any evidence. On the day my truck was supposed to be ready, Mark Proctor called to say that the thermostat housing and heater hose were now leaking and needed to be replaced. It turns out these components were working fine until Landon damaged them while replacing the water pump. To make matters worse, after paying over $2,400, I picked up my truck to find it not reassembled properly and fitted, clearly used replacement parts, especially the active grill shutter, which was dusty and visibly worn, under guard not put back on my truck and top cove and top radiator hose has no clamp on it. I spoke with Alberto Olvera, a service lead, who got defensive when I questioned the charges. He even admitted that the water pump wasn't leaking and that it would be highly unlikely given its design. While he discounted the part, I was still charged over $1,200 in labor for something that didn't need fixing. When I brought this to the general manager, Jen McCumber, she was completely dismissive. She pretended to take down my information, only to later call someone else and refer to me as a liar. Her reasoning? Because the tech had worked there for years, nothing could be done, but told me that her field tech/ supervisor stated that the could clean what suppose to be a new part. I was left feeling unheard, disrespected, and, based on the interaction, possibly racially profiled. I'm incredibly disappointed and upset by this whole experience. I expected transparency and professionalism and instead walked away with unnecessary repairs, poor workmanship, and a $2,400 bill for problems that either didn't exist or were caused by their own staff. Last year my wife and I bought a new Jeep wrangler from Bayshore Chrysler out of Bayton. The Jeep has been in the shop for 40+ days with no ETA on repairs. They misdiagnosed the repairs and caused more issues than the first time it was brought in and delayed the repairs. We have a family trip planned at the end of the month to Moab, Utah to spread ashes for a good friend. I've offered to just buy a new Jeep but the dealership will not help at all. I went to this dealership to look at a vehicle I was interested in. I spoke with a salesman over the course of a few days trying to come to an agreement on out the door price. I stopped by one day when I was passing by and the salesman I was dealing with was gone already (I came 30 minutes before closing) another salesman came and informed me the guy was gone and he would get the guy I was dealing with to call me the next morning. I wanted to be $1000 less than what they were offering me but the wouldn't budge so I was just going to get it. Next day they say someone else supposedly "put a deposit on the vehicle and were flying out the next day to pick it up." Next day came the vehicle was still and they said they would sell it to me. When I came in to make the deal the sales manager that goes by H came and accused me of trying to go around the salesman I was dealing with since I came in and the guy wasn't there. Then he said he's not going to honor the deal we made and was going to add an extra $500 instead if I wanted to buy the vehicle. Also noticed the next day they went to get a dealer plate for it so the manager can drive it around which tells me nobody ever put a deposit on it. Lol that little guy is a joke! I ended up getting the vehicle for the additional $500 just because it was the exact trim and color I've been looking for. Not to mention they said I couldn't even get a front license plate frame to mount the license plate but I can go to the parts department and purchase one. The sales and finance people are pretty cool. But the little short sales manager named H is a complete joke that will run customers away. Definitely would have liked to go somewhere else to make the purchase but I just bought it because it had the engine spec I was looking for and couldn't find one with low mileage read more

I Went in with my own bank financing and I was looking at a Ram1500 sticker price was 49,800. And once I told them I had my own financing after working down that sticker price the salesman named Slade said "oh that sticker is on the wrong vehicle, the vehicle you're looking at MSRP is actually 71k" I told him that's unacceptable because the VIN number on the sticker matches the vehicle paperwork we worked numbers on. This is not the dealership to buy any car from. They allow their new vehicles to be sold without checking to make sure all the safety equipment is operational - side impact sensors and emergency call system were NOT functioning and it took me two days out of my own time to get them to fix it. I had a FCA extended warranty that could have been transferred over to the new vehicle but their finance person said that he couldn't do it. I have to buy a new extended warranty and I would have to cancel thru the dealership where I bought it from. I found out that was a lie. It is strongly advised against purchasing a used car from this dealer. My wife, who is a veteran, bought a used 2022 Dodge Ram from them on 1/16/24, with only 25,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, within a few days of having the vehicle, it broke down multiple times, which was extremely frustrating. The car had multiple issues, not just one, but five different problems. After taking it in for repair, we discovered two issues causing our break downs including, a bad alternator and pigtail. When we took it in we gave them the codes to what part of the issue was and they ignored what we said. The day we were suppose to pick it up (1/31/24) they called and said they found another issue and we will not be able to pick it up. This time its the PCM which is part of the code we gave them. We have contacted the dealer many times to resolve the issue and find a different vehicle that will not break down days after driving off the lot. Regrettably, they have shown no willingness to come to a solution to get us into a different vehicle, and instead, they suggested we "trade it in" and lose money while they gain it. This treatment of our veterans and service members is unacceptable, and we would not recommend anyone to purchase from them. Their disregard for our concerns and lack of willingness to help find a solution is disappointing. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO JUST THROW IT AWAY. I received an original quote from my advisor Greg Rosato so I decided to go through with it. A few days later he calls me to tell me THEY broke a hose and that I had to pay for it otherwise my vehicle would not be released. It was a $400 hose but since THEY broke it and they were trying to help me out I would only pay $200. Obviously not! Why should I pay for a hose that was not broken when the car was dropped off. Then your just Joe Blow again. I bought my car during a promotion of a new 40" TV with every purchase. It's now July, still no TV. I called twice in June. First time they said we just ordered them.
