Horrendous, yesterday I went to do my 10k oil change and those people again, changed all my setting on my car, they even changed my mirror setting and they had no right to do so. The agent asked me if I will wait I told him no , I need a ride back, he completely ignored my request. When they boast they give rides back , they drop off and pick up. I had to walk half a mile to catch a bus back home. The had to run after me to get my Cars. People need to stay away from community Toyota. They are horrible. read more

To further Dave's bad review, I second the motion. I have purchased over 5 toyota's in my lifetime, most of which are usually with Fred Haas, which I can't say a single bad thing about them at all. But I decided to come out here to this place because they happened to have a truck that I didn't see at another dealership. I could probably write 100 pages on this place, but to sum it up, the place is just grimy, seedy, bad location, bad personnel. I feel sorry for the previous reviewer since he's stuck there and no other choice, because this place is just plain terrible. Everything you think of a used car lot, this place does. Salesmen are pushy, they try to make you feel bad, and the sales person, which I will be kind and not use names, was giving my wife a hard time behind my back because I was putting our child in the car so we could leave. If i had been in there with them and not have to watch our kid, I probably would be screaming for the way they were talking to my wife. Obviously, no one likes to jump in on a car purchase, but they were making us feel like crap, saying we wasted their time with pulling the truck out, and that they "knew you all weren't going to get it," etc etc... just overall seedy business. Oh and did I mention, that yea, they pulled the truck out for us to test drive, but the truck didn't even start! We had to wait out in the heat for 20 minutes before the guy could figure out how to start the dang thing!! Toyota is a reliable, great vehicle, and this place is just ruining it. I'm really surprised Toyota was willing to give this place a contract. In the end? DO NOT GO HERE! If you want to avoid an even worse experience that a car purchase sometimes could be, then drive right on by this place! I will tell everyone I know, and blog/review/tweet/facebook everyone to avoid this place, and though I hope no one loses jobs, I hope this place continues to lose business so they can wake up, and fire personnel and redo their policies and customer services! read more

I completely concur with Dave and Chris's previous reviews. The salesperson that we were dealing with made some very off the wall and odd comments. I believe he may have been trying to distract us from something or at least that's the way it felt. The knowledge of the other staff there was also less than acceptable. If the Toyota Corporate office knew about the shenanigans at this place it wouldn't go over well. My suggestion is to make the extra drive over to another Toyota dealership. read more

On Dec 15, 2014, we purchased a used Toyota Sienna. This was our best car buying experience ever, no hassles, no fuss. We found a few issues, mostly cosmetic, made an offer substantially below their asking prices, they came back with a counter offer that was only a couple hundred above our offer. We requested that they remove the clear plastic bra off of the hood, they agreed. It was probably more of a job than they originally thought, two of their car preppers and finally our salesman, Terry Sam, went back and helped them finish taking this off, it was very difficult but very much appreciated. We originally had our own financing lined up prior to arriving, they asked if they could give us a counter offer. They matched our financing, the gentleman that handled our paperwork was very professional and it was the smoothest financing we have ever done. I can't speak to their service, as we live in Pearland and will not be taking the van there for any repairs. I will be shopping for another used car soon and will be checking out there offerings at that time. read more

I took my Highlander in for an oil change and when driving out noticed I had a trouble light. I had an appointment to get to so call the service dept and informed them that I had a trouble light. I took it back in the next day and the service rep checked the code and informed me that there were too many that they would need to put it in the shop to diagnose. That would be a $157 charge if they don't do the repair. There wasn't any warning lights before I took it in for an oil change and now they wanted to charge me to diagnose it! I drove out to autozone and had them read the code. They told me that a sensor was unplugged. Sure enough I found the map sensor unplugged. Plugged it in and the trouble light went out. They won't be getting anymore of my business. read more

I didn't have much money to work with, but I needed a car for school. The salesguy was really helpful in pointing me toward a possible car while still being friendly with me and my husband (even though many other salespeople would have turned their noses up at us). It's not the latest model or anything, but I honestly feel that I got the most I possibly could with my credit score and low down payment. What my interest rate came up to wasn't some conspiracy by the dealership, but just a workable deal for me to be able to drive away in an efficient used car. I got my paperwork and plate within a month and have had no complaints since. I plan on coming back here for my next car. read more

I just received a call from Community Toyoyta sales person Scott Daigle, asking If I still had my 2016 Toyota, I told him to never call me again. I purchased a 2016 Toyota Tacoma on 1/22/16, from It, first vehicle I have ever purchased brand new ever, the lies that this person told me, amazing he should call me. First I was told my trailer hitch would be in, in 3 days from purchase, lie # 1, then I was told come get your truck at 1:00 PM tomorrow the 23, well waited 2.5 hours before I received my truck, had to ask repeately where is my truck was told had to wait on salesperson, when I finally received my truck there as 38 more miles on It from when I purchased It less than 10 hours before. When I picked up my tags asked about the hitch, no one knew anything about It. Call Corporate they could find no record. Well 3 weeks later Scott called to let me know the hitch was in. When I arrived to have It put on went to service, they knew nothing about It, when I asked Scott was It In he copped an attitude, and said He was not going to deal with me at all and I left, told the General manager I would call corporate again, well long story short I finally had my hitch installed. I have had more problems with this truck, It spent more time In the shop than my driveway, but Autonation finally resolved all the Issues. Then 18 months later (now mind you the truck is only 18 months old) The battery dies, had to replace It, come to find out It was a TEST BATTERY, great, I have never gone back to Community Toyota and never will. I should have know something was a miss, when at 2:00 In the afternoon on a Friday, the 15 bay service area Is empty. So do not go there, and certainly never, never, never have Scott Daigle be your new vehicle sales person. read more

was lied to from the first minute, sales tells you one thing then another once you arrive another. told I would have to take up issues with general manager, he said they would do what ever it takes and then on arrival sales gives me the same " can't help you with that" game. customers shouldn't have to call the GM to get the business to do what they are legally obligated to do. buyer beware. go to a better rated dealership if you aren't just picking up a vehicle you already built online. I had a great experience with Community Toyota, so check it out for yourself rather than just relying on negative reviews. i purchased a 2014 Highlander on August 13, 2014. I went thrugh Internet sales and dealt with Juanito Andres and Scott Daigle. There were not surprises, no push for extras and a smooth purchase. I don't understand Yelp's process for establishing "Recommended Reviews" and non Recommended Reviews. It seems their algorithim chose negative reviews as recommended and placed the more favorable recommendations given by customers into the non-recommended reviews......don't get that! I have high expectations for being treated with respect and good customer service....I've been pleased! read more

I was really disappointed at the customer service at this dealership. They gave me a quote over the phone, my husband and I drove over there and they changed the price (almost $2000 higher). I don't like doing business with people that do not honor their words. I think what they were trying to do was giving us a price just to get us in the door and then play "bait and switch" hoping we would just get frustrated enough to agree to their price. I was in the market for a 2014 Rav4 and I called Community Toyota and after numerous phone calls, one of the salesman gave me a drive-out price that I agreed to. Took us 45 mins to drive over there, met with the salesman, checked out the vehicle and everything was fine until a senior manager came out all of a sudden and said they couldn't sell us that vehicle at that price, price increased almost $2000. He was rude too. It was a waste of our time. I ended up buying a 2013 Rav4 at another dealership where they honored their promises. I worked with Community Toyota's Internet Sales Department to get a "no haggle" price for a Toyota Prius. When I arrived at the dealership, the dealership refused to honor the price quoted by the Internet Sales Department. The salesperson, Scott D, at the dealership was very difficult to deal with and became very angry and started yelling when I questioned why there was a communication error in the price quote. I will NEVER visit this dealership again. I took my business to Champion Toyota on I-45 where they were very friendly and helpful. read more

I would never do business with Community Toyota after the way we were treated this week. We went to buy a vehicle and were told it was in the shop for a broken mirror. The next day we called and said we wanted the paperwork ready by 4:30 to sign and drive. Upon arriving, we found that not only was the paperwork not done but that the vehicle was supposedly in the shop for something serious and they didn't want to sell it. We were extremely frustrated as my husband had taken off work and we had our kids with us. The next morning we called to say we wanted to proceed with the sale if they'd let us know what was wrong with the vehicle. We played phone tag all day and then received a voice mail that night that they sold the car! We've asked to speak to management several times but no one returns our call or seems to care. I am really disappointed at this dealership. I live about an hour from this dealer so I mentioned to a sales person several times that I will only make a trip to the place if there is a truck I had described to her was there and ready to purchase because I did not want to waste time and got an approval certificate from Toyota already. When I got there, it was not the one I expected, and was told that there was none in the beginning. What !!!! I made almost an hour trip to this place and all I heard was there was NONE from the dealer. I felt really cheated that they tried to make me be there to convince to purchase something I did not want. Anyway, only thing I had to endure was them saying "I am sorry". Well, I am sorry too.
