I was told I had to pay for an hour of…read morediagnostic time for each issue and it would be waived if the problem was found to be covered under warranty. This is a factory extended warranty. I have had this type of warranty with other manufacturers and never had to pay any type of diagnostic fees. I was a little put off but authorized it. An oil leak was covered under warranty but the other issue I had with the ambient lighting was still in question. The service writer called me to let me know that the tech had three hours diagnosing the issue but still had now answer. At this time i was told I needed to authorize more diagnostic time to the tune of roughly $800. At this point I told them to stop and I would pick it up and decide what I wanted to do. My next call was to the original selling dealer, MB of Bonita Springs. This is where the extended warranty was purchased. I spoke with the GM and explained my issue. He put me in contact with their head service writer and made an appointment for service down there. I asked if I was going to have to pay for diagnostic time. His response was "your vehicle is under warranty, so no". I dropped the car off and within 30 minutes I get a call back to let me know there was an electrical connector unplugged under the dashboard. Keep in mind that drive was 18 hours round trip. So either Centennial was either trying completely rip me off or they have no idea what they are doing. Either way it's unacceptable. Most recent encounter. I had a problem with the convertible top. I had the tech at the independent shop that does maintenance on the car look at it and he suggested I take it to the dealer. Reluctantly I brought it back to Centennial. The car sat there a week after my appointment before they looked at it. I was then told it was going to be $6300 for the repair. $3100 labor and $3200 for parts. You guessed it, I picked up the car and brought it to Johnson's Trim Shop. $75 for parts and $400 labor. Top works flawlessly now. I've only been there twice and won't be back.

From the moment…read moreI dropped my car off on 1/21/26, my assigned service advisor, Chris Foushee, was condescending, dismissive, and vague whenever I asked questions about my vehicle. Prior to bringing my car in, I already had a documented diagnosis of a coolant leak from another repair shop, received while getting an oil change, and my vehicle was actively displaying a "Check Coolant Level" warning light. Despite providing this information, Chris told me I had no choice but to pay for an additional diagnostic fee, even with paperwork clearly documenting the issue. This was communicated in a dismissive and unhelpful manner. The situation escalated on 2/2/26 when Chris informed me via text that another leak was found after initial repairs. When I politely asked what repairs had already been completed (a reasonable question for a paying customer), he responded with two long messages written entirely in ALL CAPS that were rude, passive-aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Immediately after, he mistakenly sent me a message meant for another customer that was polite, detailed, and even offered an updated invoice--treatment I never received. I have records of all communication. When confronted, Chris attempted to excuse his behavior by saying the all-caps messages were accidental and later said he was "sorry I took it that way." The lack of accountability was just as disappointing as the behavior itself. Due to this experience, we will no longer be using Centennial Imports and will be taking our business to the Mercedes dealership in Mobile. No paying customer deserves to be treated this way.

You would think that a person looking for an affordable solution to obtaining the car they desire wouldn't have to question the validity of "Quality Vehicles" claimed as being sold by this dealership. Unfortunately my personal experience as well as several others have made the costly mistake of trusting this dealership's claim. It's a wonder how a business who claims to be "reputable" with the sale of "quality" vehicles, can truly make that claim. It's EASY when they haven't actually taken the time to assure the vehicles they sell are, in fact, "Quality" vehicles because they are sold "AS IS"! That term seems to be used quite loosely at this dealership. It seems, that maybe, more time is spent trying to make vehicles "appear" to be good quality in hopes that they make it past a 30 - 60 threshold. I purchased a beautiful 2014 Toyota Tundra from them, and had the oil changed immediately to get a PM schedule started. After noticing an excessive amount of smoke during startup only a few weeks after I bought it, I discussed the issue with a friend and was told it was probably condensation. After having only traveled about 7000 total miles during my short ownership, going from home to work and couple of trips to the VA for my military service connected disabilities I'm now having to pay $6950 to rebuild the engine + an additional $795 to replace the damaged catalytic converters caused by the neglect. After a few months the smoke upon startup and a few episodes of sluggishness during operation I was forced to bring the vehicle to Toyota for diagnostic testing. According to the Master Mechanics at Toyota, the condition found, was the result of LONG TERM neglect. The estimated the last oil change before the one I performed was roughly 3 - 4 years. This is not contestable as the proof is in photographic evidence. They also determined that there was no way this occurred after the few miles put on by me. They also explained that just a few simple extra steps during preliminary inspections of a vehicle done by a reputable dealership and any "certified mechanic", would have found such terrible problems and had them resolved or the vehicle rejected by the by the dealership instead of passing the problems onto unsuspecting customers. I've tried repeatedly to contact them to talk about what was going on and was promptly ignored. How quickly, out of a desire for the almighty dollar, do they have unsuspecting consumers sign the sold "As Is" documents without regards to delivering a TRUE quality product? All I asked for from this dealership was just to...compromise... to do what is right, to correct a catastrophic mistake made by those trusted to provide a quality vehicle. That level of trust I had, has now led to a very costly repair job. I suppose what I trusted was a belief in human decency and a slogan put out by a dealership, evidently, just to sell as many cars as possible. How many customers are they willing prey upon? I suppose the answer is, as many as possible to deliver QUANTITY, not QUALITY. It is the responsibility of the dealership to ensure vehicle condition matches the advertised price when the condition is base according to KBB. Chris Carroll Automotive gets an "F" for this effort for customer satisfaction and vehicle quality, responsiveness and truth in pricing My apologies for the long rant, however the bottom line is, trust...but verify. From the moment we walked in, everyone was professional, friendly, polite, and refreshingly straightforward. They cut through the typical back-and-forth negotiations and were very upfront and transparent throughout the entire process, including with the Carfax and vehicle history. This was our first time at Frontier, but after talking with other customers who had purchased there multiple times, I can see why people come back. We definitely will too. Woody, our salesman, was fantastic, and Todd, his manager, and Brian, the finance manager, were equally great to work with. The entire team made what can sometimes be a stressful process easy and enjoyable. We can't say enough good things about our experience. Don't trust frontier motors of Pensacola especially the salesman Ron…read more We were shopping for cars in Florida even though we are from the northeast because we wanted to get a car that was not rusty. So, we put a lot of trust in Ron to help us pick the right vehicle. We were particularly concerned with whether the car sustained any mechanical damage from the front and fender bender that it was in. He repeatedly reassured us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine and that it was merely bodywork. Hundreds of miles and dollars later, we arrived at frontier motors and within the first few minutes of our test drive found paperwork showing that the car had had the transmission replaced, and that mechanical damage was sustained during the accident. When we confronted Ron about this, he threw a childish tantrum. We talked to the manager, and he was unwilling to admit his wrong or to make it right for tricking us into traveling hundreds of miles for a dud car. These people are scammers even though they pretend that they are good business people. Don't trust them.
