Brought our commuter car and truck in to get smogged. The commuter car didn't pass but only because I just had work done and it needed to be driven for about 100 miles to reset all the tests so I brought it back a week later and it passed. The guy (I can't remember his name but it starts with an N) is SO nice. I checked in here on Yelp and received a discount for both my vehicles. I scheduled for 9:15am for a smog check for on the 2007 Toyota Camry. I arrived 10min after the scheduled time and Naqid informed me that if the 9:30am appointment doesn't show, he would put me in; otherwise, he would have to do mine then after. Luckily for me, the next appointment didn't show up so he took my vehicle in and got it done within 10 minutes. Paid the $58 quoted and out in 20 minutes. That was the fastest and painless experience at a smog station I can remember. I'm bringing my wife's 2013 Toyota Sienna in next week for the same service. read more

Called him on the phone and asked how much. He said $50. Once the smog was over he said $100. I said we just spoke on the phone and you said $50. He then proceeded to say i'll do it for $70. At that point I needed to get out of there. Payed the $70. Bad business. Avoid at all costs. There are other smog options in the area you can go to. read more

Called for appointment and got in within two hours. The smog check took less than 30 minutes and the Yelp contact yielded a lower price than advertised. There was no attempt at up-selling. Just contact him through Yelp for a price and indicate year and model of car and he provided the price and held to it. The owner was very professional and courteous. I had previously had another Concord smog dealer (not through Yelp) that quoted me one price on the phone, then a higher price when I arrived, then another higher price after they connected their equipment for the smog check.
