The employee I worked with at Bayside Smog wore a mask and politely asked me to wait outside to avoid crowding the small office. This place is the least expensive in town, service was outstanding! In and out in 15 minutes, my car failed due to modifications, I corrected took it back and it passed. All for a total of 42 dollars! The service tech is honest and quick, don't know why you would smog a car at any other shop in concord, worth the drive even if your 30 minutes away! read more

If you need a STAR certified smog and is nearby this area, THIS is absolutely the only place to go, do not look anywhere else. I've asked for quotes from dozens of others STAR certified smog check only stations, and this is surely the cheapest one. I came on a weekday, and the technician was having his lunch break. Unfortunately I had to wait close to an hour for him, such bad timing on my part. I should have made an appointment first, ensuring that he will be in shop. There is only one technician working, so he had to close the shop for his lunch break. When he came back, he was very respectful and professional, went straight to work as effectively as he could. Once he started to smog my car, the process is less than 20 minutes. Don't forget to Check in on Yelp so you get the really great price that is unbeatable for any STAR certified Smog check station. Great guy, very friendly, conversational, and professional. I will always come back here to get my car smogged! Location is easy to miss at first, just find the small are where a bunch of mechanic shops are located, and you will find this place inside. read more

I'm back since he took me in last time even if the store was closing in 20min. Some shops just want to go home and close early. He assured me that it should only take 15min-20min. He honored the Yelp deal so more stars! When I got there, another car was there before me so he apologized, but I was ok since he squeezed me in with no appt. He finished my car 10min after closing time. He was still pleasant and not grumpy like others I've dealt with if you're in their shop. 1 minute after closing. Today, I was in at 7:30am and out at 7:40, that's after paying and with paperwork. Haqib is awesome! read more

This place is solid 5 star reviews for a reason. I've been there 3 times in the last 6 months and it was the same experience each time. They made a prompt appointment, were ready for me each time even apologizing for running late once when they weren't, and got me done in about 10 minutes. Very courteous, great service! This is a smog only center and only one of my vehicles needs the Star station, but I take them all here for the good service and the price is good too.
