Our group of six (multiple families represented) was seated in about 15 minutes. Most of the restaurant is configured for 4-tops, but there were enough larger options to make our seating work. I was too slow to get photos of everyone's food, plus I didn't want to embarrass my daughter who might have stabbed me with her fork. Wife had the one-egg breakfast. Traditional egg and hash browns and she chose toast (think pancakes were an option, and that would have been my preference) while I ordered the country lady. Country lady was a country friend steak, eggs, biscuit, hash browns and sausage gravy. Delish. Love that combination, and it's nice to have an option so I don't have to piece it together somehow. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the server was quick and really 'on it' as he promptly took drink orders, filled them and took our food order at that point. Kitchen staff must have been upgraded since my last visit because it was crazy fast. Check was divided accurately, and we were out the door in less than an hour. They didn't rush us, but it was obvious they wanted to turn tables over fast since the line was building. Definite repeat. I still love the local places downtown, but even I wasn't crazy enough to try to get in those on a football weekend!

I did appreciate the choice of green or black. I had the banana bread French toast to eat. It was indulgent and delicious, pretty sweet but not overdone. The banana bread was already rich enough that I did not need to use nearly all the butter that they gave, but it was very nice cinnamon butter. I was very happy with it and would definitely recommend it if you're curious. Everything was good value for the price. I would visit again.

Right as you walk in there's a big WALL OF MUGS and you grab a coffee mug off of there to bring to the table if you'll be having coffee. They are all different and a majority of them today were Christmas themed as today is Christmas Eve. They do a good job of keeping your coffee cup topped off. I ordered biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs over easy, and sourdough toast. Everything was very good and the gravy was nicely seasoned which is often lacking at restaurants (IMHO).

TLDR: Love it. Visited today for breakfast with a friend, and it wasn't busy when I arrived, but was surprised at how many people arrived as we ate. It was a workday, and I thought there might be some breakfast meetings taking place, but the crowd trickled in a bit later as the morning lingered. Coffee options abound. As do smoothies and 'wellness shots' which aren't my thing but if you'd like a shot of healthy greens and a spice I've never heard of, enjoy! I had black coffee and it tasted better than most breakfast shots. They have a wide variety of lattes and other fancy custom options like the strawberry shortcake latte, etc. Ordered the breakfast burrito (sausage) and it was very good. I think I had the hangover burrito before (same thing but with gravy on top) and would opt for that one again next time. I had the strawberry banana pancakes at a prior visit as well, and remember them fondly. My dining companion had biscuits and gravy and said they were good. He is a man of few words. For dinner, they have a great menu that is 'latin flavors' as they say - everything from traditional Mexican food you'd find elsewhere to Argentinian options and more. They have great food. On a nice day, the patio is great other than the street traffic noise. This is a great option if you're wanting to get away from the other Mexican restaurants in town but still want something along those lines.

Flavors were OK. Ingredients were missing that are normal for this bowl. We eagerly awaited the fries, which are made to order, and might be the best in Bloomington. That's if, as they'd promised, they would be delivered to our outside table. I had to chase them; they weren't quite hot, but good enough. There is lots of solid competition for bowls in Bloomington; these were average and the service weak. The flavors were OK, but the food was sort of dry. Perhaps if the server hadn't had trouble hearing over the constant sound of the smoothie machine blasting away, something different might happen, also the reason we sat outside in the first place. There is dysfunction here. We've liked it in the past, but see competition.

They are obviously not baking the potatoes from raw because that would take forever, but whatever method they have worked out to quickly cook them to order is working great because my potato tasted like it was freshly baked. The eating area was very clean. Not a lot of tables though, for the size of the place. There is one table inside (probably for waiting- but we used it to enjoy our food). The Saturday special was a brisket burger with green olive pasta salad and slaw. The burger was delicious- well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The pasta salad was salty and creamy and yummy! The slaw was yummy (green peppers added a nice flavor). I subbed cheese curds and they were great! We also tried a grilled ham and cheese (yummy- thick and cheesy) with the fries, that were also good. We took a toffee cake to go and it was so good. They also have a deli counter with sliced meats and cheese and smoked meats. The Dille family is very proud of their restaurant, as they should be! Nana was cooking, Grandpa was delivering, Grands were working, and everyone was so friendly! Can't wait to go back and give the pizza a try!
