Stopped here on a drive to French Lick for the holiday weekend. First visit. This place has some amazing food! We were seated promptly - it's a large space, would make you think about a barndominium. Staff was friendly, and attentive. Always a plus. I ordered their bone-in pork chops in a brown sugar marinade, with a loaded bake potato, and my wife had their all day breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, toast, hash brown casserole, and a waffle on the side). The pork chops were grilled to perfection and delicious! The baked potato was very good and very large. The star of the whole meal was their hash brown casserole! Do not sleep on this! It's made with (I think) pepper Jack cheese, and it was amazing! If you are in the area, well worth stopping in to check out. Looks like they have a nice outdoor patio, so I'm sure it would be even better in the summer. read more

My wife and I went for dinner on a Fri night May 2026. They have booths along one wall and open tables in the spacious middle. Has the ambience of a quaint banquet hall, very clean. Stop the car! Great spot for breakfast or brunch! Went here on a girls trip and the food is absolutely delicious! Our server was the sweetest and she gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us out with several dishes. It did take quite a while to get drinks and food, and they don't serve alcohol, but other than that, we had no complaints. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was on point. Do not go to Burtons Farmhouse the food over priced for the quality, service was slow, I had to ask about our food after waiting an hour, when it came out it was cold and distasteful, they automatically add the tip as a service charge, manager was rude, enter at your own risk. read more

My family and I stopped here for lunch before heading to Wilstem Ranch on August 10 and were so glad we did! The restaurant is adorable. I loved the personal touches like family photos to look at while waiting for your meal. There was a little kids corner for kids to play at and it had plenty of things to see outside. I took a walk around the gardens and wedding area with my daughter while waiting for the food to arrive. Across the street was a huge field with lots of cows. The food itself was delicious. I had the smoked quesadilla and it was perfect. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered, and my father in law's pancakes were HUGE. They serve breakfast and lunch throughout the day. Beautiful place. Dining area was spacious and well decorated. Our food was tasty although, I would have liked for the carrots to be a little bit more done and the asparagus, a little less done. A cute little place in the middle of no where. We stopped in on a Saturday morning after an evening of gambling at French Lick casino. Food was just ok, even for a group of hungover gamblers. Some of our groups food was cold so we sent it back to be re-heated. The staff was apologetic and super nice. The drinks were delicious and had an appealing presentation. Because they insisted on putting syrup and ketchup in individual serving dishes to be fancy, our daughters' pancakes and my husband's burger were cold/half eaten by the time we got the condiments. My husband and I tried this place when we were on a weekend trip. Completely blown away! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and quaint. The day we were there only 1 waitress was there (she was the only one that showed up!) and we still had wonderful service! The food was amazing! Locally sourced or from Amish farmers. The quality and taste was SO good!! We want to go back! If we ever are in the area we are definitely going back to try more things! This is a very beautiful country atmosphere! The food is amazing. The menu has a variety, but not too much to make you feel overwhelmed. My family all ate from the breakfast menu. I enjoyed the breakfast buritto with sausage and hash brown casserole. They use fresh farm eggs. My husband said the chicken and waffles were the best he's had. The chicken is hand breaded. Brunch on Saturday consisted of a chicken and waffle, with two perfect pieces of bacon and a spattering of hot sauce then smothered in real butter and warm maple syrup. DELICIOUS! All the food that rolled by on trays looked delicious and can not wait to return to the place your could easily drive by, you definitely want to stop here. Cute little brunch spot off IN-37. We stopped by on our way back to KY. The restaurant didn't disappoint. We got lunch and it was decent. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing. I got the guda burger and my wife got the philly. The philly was mediocre but overall I would recommend the place. There's also a small boutique clothing store in the front of the building. My husband and I finally made it over to Burton's Farmhouse for the first time and it won't be the last! From the top notch service to the amazing food our experience was amazing! We started with the onion rings which are made in house and I ordered the Farmhouse Sunrise signature cocktail. Then we both ordered the pork chop, so we could each try different sides. I had the side salad and Mac and cheese. Their dressings are made in house and the balsamic vinaigrette was the perfect balance (not too thick and didn't take away from the salad). The mac and cheese was also the perfect consistency. My husband ordered the Brussels sprouts and loaded baked potato, both were great! Topped it off with a visit to their outdoor area with some live music before heading home. **Reservations are highly recommended.** We called a little after 6pm and, due to a huge party arriving around 7, we were able to get in as it was just the two of us and we could be there before 7. The steaks were ok, but the pork chops and chicken were the champions. Realize this is a little higher end than most of the local restaurants. I planned an engagement after party at Burton's Farmhouse after it was recommended by a mutual friend. Wanting to be certain it would meet my expectations, I made a point to personally check out the place prior to scheduling the party. Upon arrival we were greeted by Brittany, the owner, and served by a team of dedicated staff that was friendly, pleasant, and competent, in the "eat off of the floor" level of cleanliness that the restaurant offers. I had the opportunity to taste practically everything on the menu because many of our guests insisted that I taste their meal because they wanted me to taste how good it was. Although I ordered a wedge salad topped with grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly and presented tastefully, I also tasted the filet which melted in my mouth, the double boned pork chop which was seasoned nicely, the stuffed chicken breast that I'm sorry I didn't choose myself, and other entrees that each were better than the last for flavor and presentation. Prior to the meal we ordered family style appetizers of onion rings, potatoes, a spinach dip with tortillas, and another item that escapes my memory; all were delicious.
