This restaurant is upstairs in the Nordstrom's Department store. I'd been here quite a few years back for a Yelp elite event, but as I'm not a regular Nordstrom's shopper, I had not been back. Although I have eaten at one of their other locations. We were coming to the Boca Town Center for an event and decided to have lunch here first. The restaurant is a quiet respite -- not only from the store "crowd" but from the mall itself. It's a bit upscale and in some cases pricey, but the food quality is commensurate with being part of an upscale place like Nordstroms. And for Boca folks, it's right up their alley. I started with a cup of their crab bisque. This was very good. The soup was creamy and with a few chunks of crab in it. It also came with a slice of toast on the side, too. After that I had their chicken tacos appetizer. This was two crunchy tacos filled with ground chicken and peppers and cheese, etc. The tacos were excellent, but a bit messy. As the tacos were hard, every bite fell apart a bit. My husband had their nicoise salad with salmon. The fish was served warm atop mixed greens, hard boiled eggs, fingerling potatoes, beans, etc. He said the salad was wonderful. He enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc wine with his meal. This wouldn't be a regular stop for us, normally, as it's a bit expensive, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. And we had excellent service here as well.

Chicken tacos apps were very good. Club sandwich was as well. Kids had the plain Mac and cheese and they loved it. Nice atmosphere and service was very good as well. Happy hour also!! First time here and definitely won't be the last.

    Well rounded kids menu.

Great food. Casual atmosphere. Good service. The kids menu is better than most places with decent options.

Shopping really works up an appetite. At Town Center in Boca Raton (a regional, destination mall that seems recession proof) we were ready for lunch. There are not many restaurants near Nordstrom. Maggie McFly (first location in Florida) has yet to open. And California Pizza Kitchen was packed. (And the nearby former sneakers shop now sells lingerie; but that's another story.) So we headed to the second floor of the department store to try Bazille and we're glad we did. No snobby salespeople, just nice servers. And the food was fresh and decently priced. Tomatoe bisque was smooth and tasty. We both had the salmon nicoise which was fresh and delicious. Of course, we ordered a side of flatbread to tide us over. One of our favorite features at Bazille is something you don't see once inside the mall. Windows! We watched an afternoon storm move in. There is also space for parties of a few dozen people near the open kitchen plus a full bar near the entrance. Best of all, one of the servers saw us shooting pix and posed!

Krystan was our waitress, glad we got in at lunch time without a wait. So many menu's, we ordered from brunch menu good until 3:00. Starting with monkey bread. I'm going to have cilantro lime chicken tacos & my husband a berry salad. Didn't see all the anniversary specials for the restaurant, but our choices were overwhelming! Everything was exceptional!

The french onion soup is so amazing. I love the soup and wish I could make this at home on a whim. I also ordered the chicken club sandwich. I asked for the garlic aioli on the side. The sandwich also came with a side of mayonnaise. I left those two off my sandwich and thought the sandwich was okay. It was saved from being not flavorful at all with the bacon on the sandwich. The avocado was really fresh. Overall, the sandwich was kind of bland. The bacon was top-notch and gave the sandwich a little oomph that it needed. The fries were good and have some nice, interesting seasoning on them. They have a lot of herbs on them. My aunt had the margherita pizza. She liked it but said it was oily. I had a slice thought it was pretty good. I was impressed that the crust had such a nice flavor to it. Most crust don't have much of a taste but this one had a garlic flavor to it which I enjoy. Next time I might order the pizza. I brought home some double chocolate chip cookies which were very oh, very good. They were fresh and had a lot of chocolate flavor. Bazille has an upscale feel to it yet the pricing is fair. Our server was nice but I think he was overwhelmed with tables. They seem to be a little bit shorthanded there. I think it was the manager running back and forth across the restaurant. We had to wait for drink refills longer than we should have. Overall, this restaurant is very nice and convenient if you are shopping and Nordstrom.

Had a loverly ladies lunch. I had a ice tea , J had a Chardonnay. I started with their French onion soup tasted a tad greasy broth was nice little too many onions for me in my opinion but it was all in all very good and cheesy . We both had that shrimp salad with a little cilantro lime dressing came with corn ,tortilla chips which we both chose not to have . Service but missing something. The room was very nice windows looking out looked real nice it was a beautiful day. I forgot to take pic of the salad , The shrimps were grilled it perfectly the salad was mixed .

I've never eaten at this restaurant (despite shopping at the Boca mall all the time) because I never knew it was here!!!! (Definitely need better advertising/marketing!!) Once I stumbled across this restaurant in Nordstrom, I didn't think it would be anything special since it was inside a department store, but boy, I was wrong... The ambiance of the restaurant is great- huge open kitchen stretching across the length of the restaurant, where you can see everything cooked in the wood fire oven. The open restaurant has tables/booths in the middle, with a bar across from the kitchen. I ordered the maple (sriracha) bacon deviled eggs for an appetizer- which were some of the best deviled eggs I've ever had. Each flavor went REALLY well together, each bite was an explosion in your mouth. For my meal I ordered the flat iron steak frites with the herb French fries. The fries were thin and crispy, with the perfect amount of seasoning. The steak was drenched in a DELICIOUS herb butter and came with an interesting kalamata olive aioli. The aioli sauce is PURPLE- a little off-putting at first sight, but TRY IT, it's delicious!!!! A very unique flavored sauce that goes great with both your fires and steak. I would return here again; I'd love to try the wood fired pizza next time!!

I took my daughter prom dress shopping on Friday night in the Boca Mall. After we were done I wanted to treat her to a nice dinner and I remembered all of the glowing Yelp reviews so we headed over. It's located on the second floor of Nordstrom's against the back wall. The restaurant is so dark that you can't really see in from the store. I actually thought it was closed until we got closer and saw someone moving inside. We got there at 8:30 and it was pretty empty. We were quickly seated and brought menus. The French dip caught my eye until I saw the calorie count was over 1.500! Except for the salads the meals offered were pretty high in calories. I appreciate that they give you the calorie count because there is no way I am blowing that many calories on one meal. My daughter ordered it instead and she loved it. She declared the bread was exactly like the French baguettes she had in Paris. I took a little bite and it was rich. I went with the chicken paillard salad which was clocked in a much more reasonable 550 calories. It was a very thin chicken breast, quite large, covered in greens with a vinaigrette dressing. For a chicken salad it was pretty tasty. The restaurant was elegant and the service was attentive. If I wasn't trying to count calories I would have splurged on dessert. It was nice that their menu while small does have some salad offerings for people watching their health and weight. Thankfully Bazille does not have Nordstrom prices for their food. Dinner for the two of us with tip was a reasonable $40.

This place has the best White Chocolate bread pudding dessert! One suggestion is to offer their lunch menu for dinner also.

This place was AMAZING! From the minute we were greeted and asked for our reservation's name to the ending of our experience; it was hands down so great! I had probably one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I'm not even joking when I say that. It was delicious. The apps were nothing less than perfect too that we shared for the table. The duck rolls were pretty spot on and that's saying a lot for not being a big fan of duck. We also shared the cauliflower. My main entree was the octopus. I'm glad I asked about spice, because they said it had a kick. So I asked for the sauce to be on the side. Our server, Riley, did it without hesitation for me. The environment was also really pretty for Indian fusion. There was an upside down painting of the Taj Mahal upside down that was sick!

We sat on the patio under an umbrella during dusk time, which was lovely. It wasn't too hot. Aspen was our server and she was extremely accomodating and kind. She provided her recommendations to us about the menu, which I really appreciated. We started with the mocktails "is there a doctor in the house?" And they were AMAZING! Super refreshing. It had pineapple skin, ginger, turmeric, carrot, and citrus. We ordered a bunch of items to share. For appetizers, we ordered the bang bang cauliflower, which had mushroom, paneer, mint and cilantro. This was SO yummy, but extremely spicy! My mouth was actually on fire. We also got the spicy tuna bomb which consistent of semolina puri, spicy soy, green goddess, and avocado. They were shaped like little circles that you could pop in your mouth in one bite. We got the Brussels Caesar which was AWESOME! I loved the shaved Brussels made into a salad. We also ordered the truffle naan with ricotta. This is a MUST! It was delicious. The truffle taste was so potent. And the ricotta paired so well with it. We ordered the ribeye cut medium from the meat menu along with the buttermilk miso. The meat was perfect. It was tender and yummy. We just weren't provided with a knife to cut it and had to ask for it. I gave 4 stars just because of the multiple flies that were surrounding us and our food at one point. We asked for a fly fan, but unfortunately they didn't have one available. Overall, wonderful experience though! Food was very tasty, service was great. I will most definitely return and sit inside on my next occasion!

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.
