Out of everything I've ever eaten, this tasted the most like authentic Korean fried chicken.

I recently went here couple of times to pick up my online order of soy garlic chicken wings. The store is still tiny, but there is some space available for couple of guests if anyone decides to eat at the store. Both times my orders were ready upon arrival. I get notified via text when it's ready for pick up. But the lady I met both times, seems little frustrated both times. There was no greeting of any sort, just asked my name and handed the order. They still make really good wings. Loved the soy garlic crispy layer on top of the moist chicken. The side of radish cubes are also good. Now they have an app for ordering from any bb.q location, that earns points for the order. These points can be redeemed towards future orders. Got 7000 points just for signing up. read more

The food is fine, but the service sucks. I ordered online and the text said to pick up between 835-840pm. The lady calls me at 8:39 very rudely complaining because I haven't picked up my order when they close at 8:30. She also yelled at my husband to get out because he pointed out that the sign on the door says they close at 9pm (after she also yelled at him that they close at 8:30). Went in today to get $45 24 piece combo lady tells I get to pick 3 sides. She then tries to pull a fast one on me and charges me for 6 fries when I originally only wanted 2. Ended up paying 75 dollars for what usually isn't more then $50 and plus I ordered 5 orders of rice and they didn't include it into my bag and I only noticed once I got home 1:30 hours away horrible place would not suggest I love the franchise but this specific location stay far far away. We just found this place this evening and we are super delighted to find it! Great reviews, easy parking , simple ordering and decent pricing. My hubby and I enjoy spicy dishes therefore we opted for spicy wings with regular ones /we tried the 1/2 and 1/2. (Kind of wish they offered any flavors with these half and half) apparently we can only get spicy and regular. Nonetheless, they were fabulous! We also ordered the boneless wings for our son who found them to be 'spicy' therefore he didn't enjoy them as much. Also ordered fries and cheese sticks. All were delish! I waited 45 minutes for my our order but it was well with it! The fries were still crispy when we arrived home. Please note that this at this is a take out business only. Can't wait to try them again. Not greasy, well presented. Try spicy was spicy and not messy at all! Just some great breading, portions and perfect amount of sauce. What sets this place apart from other Korean fried chicken joints in my opinion is the batter that they use. It is light, airy, and not greasy at all. When you bite into the chicken, you get the perfect crisp, and then you're hit with the moist and tender chicken meat. Because their batter is not heavy and rich, it just makes the chicken that much better. They have all the usual varieties of flavors from soy garlic to hot & spicy, and also some not so common ones as well, such as Gang-Jeong and Gangnam style. In my opinion, the worst bbq chicken shop in bergen county jersey. Ive ordered from here 3x already and each time the chicken was very very salty. I always get soy garlic and my fav spot in the valley is bbq chicken in old tappan but closters closer so i wanted to give this place a shot. Unfortunately let down each time. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous lol i understand everythings more $$ now but i was shocked when i ordered 9 piece wings and total came out to $15 like bruh thats crazy. Side note this was an order for my dad and he NEVER complains about food hes the time to eat everything and anything and not complain but he couldn't even finish 2 wings because of how salty the wings were. I'm having a drooling moment just thinking about the chicken... Their chicken is tender and juicy. There isn't too much breading either. I like their secret spicy sauce and gangnam style wings. Both are not that spicy at all but pack alot of flavor. The secret spicy is like a sweet and sour and the gangnam style is a pepper flavor. Their French fries are perfectly crispy and with any order you get a side of pickled radish. They are perfect when you need something alittle refreshing when you're eating fried food. The staff is very nice as well. The only thing I don't like is that you are not able to ask for all drums or all flats. I understand there is a supply chain issue with obtaining wings, however, I wouldn't mind paying an extra couple of dollars for the change. read more

I happen to see this BBQ chicken store on my drive and decided to order a couple of chicken wings and tteokboki. The full order to about 25 minutes and the takeout packaging was pretty sturdy. I ordered the golden original and gang-jung. I really liked the gold original. Very crispy with right amount of breading. Gang-jung is fried similar to bonchon but I liked them better. Picked up some chicken here while I was having at one of the restaurants next door. Hadn't tried this one before, but it's part of a chain (seen a listing in midtown). This location has a few stools, but really built for takeout. While I'm still a big fan of BonChon and make that my standard, I did like this one as well. It's more of a traditional fried chicken, but still better than the fast food chain. Didn't get a chance to check out any of their other dishes, but will plan on going back again. read more

Chicken tastes great! On par with other bbq locations and the rose ddeok bokki is amazing! No issues with taste or service. Had a bit of a problem with the pricing and size of some of the chicken pieces. Ordered small boneless cheesling which is 8 pieces, medium boneless soy garlic and rose ddeok bokki. Some pieces were nugget sized while some were almost chicken tender sized. But it all added up to 8 pieces. I would have expected larger sized pieces overall or at least add a few more small pieces. Prices... The prices in this location is higher than in Manhattan... Will double check more locations in Bergen but the price felt really high. read more

Great k-chicken place. They have a lot of different flavors that are good. The one thing I would wish this place had (this goes for other k-chicken places) is a buffalo wings option. bbq opened up nearby so I had to give it a try. there's nothing different from other locations and it's just as good. but the pickled radish that comes as a side was cut very small and there wasn't enough and I do think the overall brand is on the pricier side compared to other korean chicken brands.
