Stopped by here on a random Friday night. There's parking in the structure across the street but also some spots in front of the restaurant. It wasn't very busy so we were able to place our orders and get seated quickly. The food didn't take too long to come out. They provide utensils, plates for sharing, and water cups. You have to ask for ice at the counter though. Everything was pretty good though I would skip on the mozzarella sticks next time. I've been to this chain a few times as well as a similar brand but I felt like its time to finally get a review going! The food was much better than I expected and the quality of the fry and flavor was amazing! Wings of fire - I did expect a bit more heat from them but it is definitely a classic sweet and fiery flavor. The heat definitely builds up as you go and would give your average customer the sweats! The cashier was kind and quick to receive us as we entered and made sure that we got our food as soon as it came out! The food here is so good we went 3 times just this week. So so happy we finally have a delicious Korean chicken spot close to home that's open pretty late. The chicken is cooked to order so it's crispy and hot when we get it. It's even crispy when we take it home (as long as we leave the box open in the car en route). We tried the half and half, which was pretty good... But our favorites have got to be the Cheese & Honey ones. The place is clean and the staff friendly. There's parking right in front but also across the street there's a parking structure (saw it but never needed to use it so I don't know if it's paid or free). This is hands-down the best BBQ Chicken franchise I've been to--and I've tried several across California and out of state. What sets this location apart is that everything is made fresh to order. You can tell the moment the food hits the table. The chicken is served piping hot, incredibly crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. Nothing sits under heat lamps. The difference in quality is obvious. I ordered the Golden Original and Secret Spicy. Both were excellent. The Golden Original has that perfect light, crunchy texture, and the Secret Spicy packs just enough heat with a hint of sweetness. You can't go wrong with either one. ZERO STARS -- Worst Experience I've Ever Had at Any Restaurant I placed a large order (around $110) at BBQ Chicken Riverside, expecting a decent meal and to earn rewards as advertised -- instead, I experienced the most disrespectful and unprofessional treatment I've ever encountered in any business. Before paying, I asked the cashier how to earn my rewards points. He confidently told me, "You do that online, just input your receipt number on the website." After paying, I sat down, went to the website -- and discovered that was completely wrong. The website says rewards are earned only through the app by scanning a QR code after creating an account. So I downloaded the app, set up my account, and went back to the cashier to ask if he could apply my points retroactively. Instead of owning up to the misinformation, he said, "The system is down." I calmly said, "Then cancel the order and refund my money." His response? "F* you."** Yes -- the cashier cursed directly at me in front of customers. When I asked to speak to another employee, I was told the shocking truth: that man was the owner. He finally processed a refund -- but only after refusing to show me any written policy and arguing about giving cash back versus credit card refund. The entire experience was hostile, dishonest, and humiliating. I rarely write reviews, but people need to know: If this is how the owner treats customers, imagine the culture behind the counter.
