I arrived at 8:15 p.m., and the young woman at the counter immediately gave me a look that made me feel like she was wondering why I was there. I noticed her expression and asked, "You're still open, right? The sign says you close at 9:00 p.m." She replied, "Yes, we're open, but you can't eat in here. It's to-go only." There was no sign anywhere indicating that the dining room closed before 9:00. In fact, the restaurant's hours clearly stated it was open until 9:00 p.m. Yet, 45 minutes before closing, all of the chairs were already on top of the tables, and the dining room had essentially been shut down. I turned to my family and said, "Let's go. She doesn't want us eating in here." She heard the entire conversation and made no effort to clarify the policy, apologize, or accommodate us. She simply sat there and watched us leave. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced. If the dining room closes before the restaurant does, post a sign so customers know before they walk in. Otherwise, don't make paying customers feel like they're inconveniencing you by arriving during your posted business hours. People with this kind of attitude don't help the business--they're just there to collect a paycheck. Experiences like this are exactly why I don't feel much sympathy when businesses replace people with bots and automation. This is definitely a location. I recommend for a good on the Flyy chicken bowl. I don't believe it's a out of this world experience. The flavor of the chicken is a bit bland at least for the Bulgogi. We've been coming here for a couple of years and it has always been good. On our most recent visit, we were charged incorrectly for our food. The person at the counter argued that the "register" had the correct price, even though the board right behind the counter had a different price. The counter person then proceeded to tell us that the register price included the tax. If that was true, we were taxed twice. While we were eating, the counter person indicated that the manager was being notified. We got no response from anyone. I sent my complaint directly to the manager, and a week later, no response. For the life of me I can not understand how there's no accountability for staff anymore. The young lady who took my order was absolutely high and not only did I have to repeat my order to her SEVERAL times she still messed up two out of three bowls when inputting it even though I had to keep clarifying. The food from here isn't bad, if it's made correctly and while I understand that everywhere is raising their prices to pay $40 for three bowls of food and two of them are inedible is just sad. The seating space is small. I don't know if the restaurant get full and how people sit back to back. Besides, there is no restroom!!!! My hand got sticky after I ate the orange came with the meal. I think I should have saved three dollars by getting the bowl version, however. The service is absolutely horrible. I placed an order on the app for the location on magnolia and I go inside and they rudely told me that I placed the order for the wrong store. The right store was approximately 20 minutes away from me and I was on my lunch break so because of them being inconsiderate of the fact that I already spent money on food, I wasn't able to even eat lunch. Usually most places are courteous enough to remake the order, considering you already paid for it but the employees were lazy and careless, and did not even offer to remake my food. I ordered one of the cheapest things on the menu literally a chicken bowl, and I was unable to get it. I find it absolutely absurd. They couldn't simply remake my order as that mistake has happened to me maybe two times when placing orders online and both instances my food was offered to be remade no problem. Also, the employees looked like they were under the influence of some kind of substance is when I enter the store I wasn't greeted, or even helped right away I had to get their attention that I was even at the counter. I would not recommend this location to anyone after today because it's quite blatantly obvious that the employees here do not care about the customers.
