The service was so well, the employee, Araceli, was so patient while we picked out our order. She then gave us all the options that came with the buffalo chicken fries, aka the ranch on top and on the side. we went to wait in our car while it was being made and she ended up coming outside and delivering our food to us, so considerate and amazing customer service. she also gave us two forks without us asking, 10/10 employee and restaurant. read more

While the wings were great, my dad and I were very disappointed with how one of the staff members spoke to us during our visit. We had placed a to-go order, and the female employee who helped us was very kind and informed us it would take about 20 minutes. We then went next door to pick up a cake and returned to wait. While waiting, my dad needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, there was a code required and one of the two restrooms was marked "Out of Order." My dad approached the front counter to ask if he could have the code for the other restroom. The male employee who responded told him, "You can't use it, it's out of order," but the tone and delivery were unnecessarily rude and dismissive. When the female employee who originally helped us came back out, we explained what had happened. As I was speaking, another staff member visibly rolled their eyes, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. I told them that while I understand certain things may be out of their control, there is an appropriate and respectful way to communicate with customers. The way my dad was spoken to was not acceptable. The female employee apologized again for what occurred, and we picked up our food and left. While we appreciated her professionalism, the overall interaction left us feeling disrespected. read more

Cory and Angel were phenomenal! I had been meaning to write this review awhile back. These two individuals provided my Bf and I great service even when arriving at almost closing time. We had cravings of eating their world famous buffalo fries. After being stuck in traffic we were able to make it and they did not disappoint with our delicious meal. Everything was cooked fresh and crispy - just how we were expecting ! But More than anything their customer friendly service made us feel welcomed. I love the food and I always order delivery but I decided to go eat at the restaurant. While I was enjoying my meal I saw plenty of delivery drivers come in and out. The crazy thing is that the Buffalo Spot employees kept making the delivery drivers pour all the drinks ! Delivery drivers don't have food handlers certifications and none of them washed their hands before pouring drinks!! I've been having drinks poured by my drivers for ages now. For paying close to $20 a Large buffalo chicken fries was not that large but then again they could've gave me a small or medium by mistake. The quality was mid grade. Best boneless wings... The chicken pieces are big, meaty, juicy, and made to order. These are not tiny little pieces of meat with a huge amount of breading like other places that I shall not name. came in 30 minutes before closing and a young white lady told me 40 minutes before closing that they close soon and dont feel like serving wings, then the cook comes to the front and says tney cleaned up and dont feel like cooking more, very unprofessional. very irresponsible i come here all the time with friends and family and enjoy eating here. this was super fucking disrespectful bunch of lazy kids working that day. read more

I asked them to make my garlic parmesan wings extra garlic parmesany - they made it extra garlic parmesany and it tasted AMAZING! The Jamaican Jerk wings were also as good as last time I ordered here. This time around, the wings were even JUICIER than last time while still having some crispiness. As I've said before, there are people who prefer super crispy wings who are okay with sacrificing some juiciness (crispy dry chicken). On the other side there are people who are okay with less crispy wings are okay with that for the sake of keeping the juiciness. If you're part of the latter group, you'll love The Buffalo Spot! read more

They have terrible customer service. They messed up my order and said it's my fault when I was specific. I ordered a 10 piece tender the associate said boneless correct I said yes tenders . Got boneless small nuggets for 33$ Then management said it was my fault for not being specific when I said tenders I thought she was verifying that they had no bones. It's another 17$ for 10. Was craving mango habanero wings but didn't want to go support wingstop. Unfortunately they fell a bit short. I got 5 wings and 4 of the 5 were drums :( instead of flats. They were small and not plump at all. I think it's important for wing places to have even number of Flats vs. Drums. Especially since flats will cost more at the grocery store. I spoke with another employee there for help and he was super helpful. But the thing is, he said to write my name down and number and they will let me know when I would get a refund for my order. Normally I don't trust my coworker's food recommendations but today I decided to give him one last chance to redeem himself... and he did! This place was so good!! I ordered the Buffalo Cali Burrito but I got the sauce on the side since I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Next time, I'm getting the burrito as is because it was all good. Love that this place is close to a bunch of other eats in DTR. My favorite of all the flavors I got were the Jamaican Jerk. These are actually big wings so be mindful when ordering because I ordered way more than I thought would come. I wish however that the wings were a bit crispier. If I come back id order them that way. Most of the flavors are wet. I got lemon pepper expecting dry rub & it wasn't so keep that in mind. Overall I wasn't super blown away. It was just alright. If I'm in the mood for wings this probably wouldn't be my first choice. read more

The fish tacos had nicely cooked fish, but again, lacked seasoning. They also came with more jalapeño aioli, and the portions felt awkward. The fish pieces were huge compared to the tiny tortillas, so eating them turned into a full taco explosion situation. The biggest letdown was the chimichurri sea bass. For a $52 entrée, we expected much better. The fish came out completely overcooked and dense like a brick, which was extra disappointing because the chimichurri sauce and mashed potatoes were actually delicious. On the bright side, the drinks were fantastic. Refreshing, flavorful, and probably the highlight of the meal. Service at the bar was also great across the board. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout the night. This place truly has so much potential because the ambiance and service are already there. We really wanted to love the food as much as we loved the vibe, but unfortunately it just didn't wow us this time around.

The meat was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, which was the highlight of the meal. The rice had good flavor, but unfortunately it wasn't fully cooked, which took away from the experience a bit. The food also took a while to come out, so be prepared for a longer wait. One downside for me was the pita bread. It was very dry and hard, and not enjoyable at all. Another concern was the open kitchen. While the area looked clean overall, I did notice the cook using the same gloves to prepare food and then handle items that didn't appear clean, which was a little off-putting. Overall, Yafa Cuisine has good flavors and generous portions, but a few quality and cleanliness details kept it from being a higher rating.

It looked like it was made with love. The egg+cheese sandwich absolutely carried the experience (seriously, give that thing a raise), and the matcha held its own as it was refreshing! Now the not so great... the huevos rancheros were unfortunately very, very, salty.. but I didn't want my money to go to waste so I made myself eat it.. The coffee was bitter, pretty but bitter. I usually like bitter coffee but this one caught me off guard haha The Customer service wasn't great.. The server asked if we needed anything else but was already walking away before we could answer. Overall, the matcha and egg+cheese sandwich was the best part from this experience. I would recommend those two.
