Meal order to hand: 12 mins I stopped by around 1300, and…read moreright from the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone with a warm, friendly greeting. A family of five was already seated and enjoying their meal, which made the space feel lively but relaxed--like the kind of spot people actually come back to. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich with furikake fries, yuzu aioli, and a yuzu‑infused Japanese lemonade. They hand you a buzzer so you can wander the area while you wait, which fits the whole open‑market vibe of the compound. Dessert shops, coffee, cookies, and even a small stage surround the space, with chill music floating in the background. When my food came out, the first thing I noticed was the chicken itself. The hot honey chicken had a beautiful crisp to it--slightly darkened on the outside, but in that intentional, caramelized way that tells you the honey really hit the heat. Inside, they give you a fat, juicy chicken breast, not a thin patty pretending to be something it's not. The flavors hit perfectly: the sweetness and heat from the hot honey, the crunch of the coating, and then the bright, citrusy lift from the yuzu aioli tying everything together. The furikake fries were just as good--nice half‑cut slices, golden and seasoned with that savory‑umami sprinkle that makes them addictive. They also include ketchup packets, plus a side of banana peppers and sweet sliced pickles, which add a fun, tangy contrast to the richness of the sandwich. Honestly, yummm. The whole area is family‑friendly with plenty of seating. Restrooms are located toward the back of the compound. I can definitely see weekends getting busier, so parking might be tighter then, but the atmosphere is worth it. A flavorful meal, a refreshing drink, and a chill place to unwind--definitely a spot I'd return to.

my partner and i were excited to try this place we had came across on tiktok we were in the area…read moreand decided to finally try it out. well that was a mistake and lemme tell you why. when we entered i thought there was a customer speaking to the cashier, she ended up walking out after we walked in. while my boyfriend was ordering i was looking at their menu deciding which sauce i wanted since they have a variety and the one i wanted was out of stock. before i could finish making my choice, she sarcastically said "oh sorry, don't mean to rush you" while taking a sip of water. i smiled and completed my order but felt like that comment was unnecessary. after paying we walked outside to wait and enjoy the weather, minutes later the food was ready and we walked back in. that's when i realized that "customer" from earlier was actually the cashiers friend. she was standing in front of the cashier just chatting it up. suddenly the attitude made sense, our presence must have interrupted their catch-up session. to make matters worse, when our food was ready our drinks were missing. so my boyfriend politely reminded the cashier who seemed visibly annoyed rolling her eyes before grabbing our drinks from the fridge. the uncomfortable experience continued as we ate. every time we got up for something like the napkins i got and the to-go box my boyfriend asked for, the friend would just stare us down and the worker seemed inconvenienced for our basic customer request. as for the food, it was okay. definitely not good enough to makeup for the horrible customer service. overall, we left disappointed. i understand wanting to talk to your friends, i have a job too but paying customers shouldn't feel like a burden for expecting basic service. unfortunately between the eye rolling and awkward environment, we won't be returning. and if your experience is different than ours i guess you got them in a better mindset.

I can't get enough of Monty's!…read more We need one of these closer to Corona/ Murrieta etc. Spread them throughout the Inland Empire please! We need more Monty's locations! It's either Riverside or Los Angeles. The Los Angeles location is nice because it has standard restaurant seating and the vibe is full on Monty's! It's so cool! I hope they grow and open more locations. My husband and I just drove an hour to get to the Riverside location. We're only able to come once a month because it's so far away. We would hit it once a month if it were closer, maybe more than once a month. Service is always great at this location. They have stickers and buttons available. The seating is bar stools at a counter inside the food lab. The food is amazing! It's always perfectly made and it hits the spot when we miss the Monty's plant-based chicken. The burgers are good. Love the fries and tots! Definitely do the "maxed out" tots or fries. Those are the best! I love the kale salad and add chicken on top. My husband loves the chicken burgers. We always bring friends here to try Monty's plant-based grub! This place rocks.

As a 10 year vegetarian I had to try this place. I ordered 2 good burgers, 50/50 (fries and tots…read morew/side of ranch), and a cherry cola. The burger was pretty good, but I've had better. Fries and tots were decent. Would love to come back to try the dog and chicken sandwich. Service was quick. They had a good amount of counter seating but it was pretty busy. I absolutely love their mascot though and they have free stickers that look like him. All food is vegetarian friendly! 100% plant-based.
