    Chicken Fried Rice
    Sebastian B.

Im visiting the area on business and here for a solid week. There are so many choices for the business travelers here. Today I tried bb.q my first observation is they are super new and need time to smooth over some details. The staff is okay but the approach is weird. They have a limited menu. Chicken many different ways but you can either get half or whole chicken and wings. 2 rice dishes and a couple appetizers. Attempting to try a few different types I had to split my wing order. I got the chicken rice dish as well and it was great but the egg was overcooked. The wings are phenomenal!!! I got 2 orders of 8 each and tried 2 fantastic sauces. The sad part was my bill was nearly $50 bucks. This is a place where you should come with friends or be buying for a big group so get ready for just 1 item or if you want to try a bunch you'll be paying a huge price. Maybe I need to try them again to see how to order properly. One thing for sure the wings were magnificent!!!

Bbq chicken was really good. I ordered online and everything I ordered was ready within 20-30 minutes. When I picked up my order it was hot and fresh. The customer service was good and friendly. The chicken was very crispy and the rice was different, yet delicious. I will definitely return. There's ample space for parking.

I was driving by and noticed they had the "NOW OPEN" sign out and didn't think twice about turning in. My kids and husband love Korean bbq wings. Ordering is done at the counter and the lady who rung my order up was so sweet and friendly. I ordered the golden original, soy garlic and sweet garlic wings. My favorites in order are soy garlic, original crispy, and secret sauce- no surprise because I'm not a spicy fan and the secret sauce had a little kick. I can't wait to try more flavors with galbi being the next.

Boneless wings with special sauce, french fries and pickled radish.

I stopped the night before and went with Kemchi fried rice. I returned the next day to try the chicken. The Korean fried chicken was well worth the 20 minute wait. Nice, new and very clean inside. Best boneless wings I've had in a long time. This place will be added to my favs tab.

    Secret sauce. So good.

We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

The ambiance was quiet and really enjoyable--perfect for a relaxed meal. The broth could use a bit more flavor overall, but the spicy one was definitely the standout. I stopped by for lunch and was greeted with a helpful person behind the register. I haven't had good Korean friend chicken since living in New England, so this was a great treat. The prices are higher than other places that specialize in chicken in this area, but it's full of flavor. Also love the pickled radish, but didn't like that I had to order that as a side. I'm used to that coming with the chicken as a palate cleanser, esp. if you have two savory flavors - my favorite combo here was the garlic spicy and red hot spicy. I came in on a weekday around 2 and it's was pretty empty, but I did some work while waiting for my food. Definitely going back!

I tried the garlic honey fried wings and they were really delicious. They definitely have a little bit of a kick when you first bite them, but as you continue eating them, the heat kinda slows down. At first, the price point can also seem a little pricey, but overall I think it was really worth it. I was able to have a 10 piece between myself and my spouse for two nights of dinner. I also didn't realize that they serve things like beer and wine and had available seating, so I'll definitely be back to try to dine in instead of taking out. I still had no issues with the takeout option, as my food was still piping hot by the time I got it home. They also have really cute decor inside.

The service was a little odd as each appetizer and entree came out at different times, one dish at a time and one appetizer after the entrees were all delivered. But the flavors were incredible and the service was friendly. Tom Kha Gai soup was excellent with a great coconut broth and the cup at $5.95 is huge, like a large cereal bowl. Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. The menu has a really good variety of options from appetizers, to rice, noodles, curry, stir-fry and even pho! We ordered Thai Iced Teas which were delicious - always love watching the tea and milk mix together. For our meals, we got Red Curry Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. The portions were HUGE. Literally, the red curry was in a giant bowl, filled to the brim and the pad Thai was heaping. The food came out so fast and was nice and hot. Flavors were excellent! Highly recommend Sawaddee Ka if you are in the area and looking for a flavorful and generously sized meal, and a friendly family vibe!

But once you do, you will find this to be a very adequate buffet experience. First of all, this restaurant is tucked in the corner of a strip mall located in a larger complex with multiple Asian dining options, including two different. Korean restaurants. But they are plenty of parking spaces. So you shouldn't have any issue here. The restaurant is not extremely large but has plenty of seating. And on the Saturday afternoon that we visited we were immediately seated. Now the restaurant is a bit dated, and the booth we were in definitely shows some wear and tear with both bench seats having the vinyl split right down the middle. There are a couple of TVs on running Fox News, and the dining room is relatively quiet with just the chatter from other tables and booths. The selection of food is pretty good given the size of the restaurant and the overall price point. They have pre prepared sushi, hibachi and a plethora of fried food options, both on the Chinese and American side. They have a small dessert menu, but not much in terms of options. They have a pretty impressive fresh bar with fresh peeled shrimp, mussels, and oysters, which I was a bit, surprised to see. The oysters were refreshed while we were there, so I decided to try a couple and they weren't bad at all. I'm usually a bit nervous about trying oysters at buffet, but they did a good job of keeping them really iced and chilled. Service was also really good with the owner greeting new customers as they walked in and our server staying on top of our drinks and picking up our empty plates promptly. And the best thing about this place is the price. For two people our total bill came to a little bit over $40. This is a really good value given the variety and the service.
