Cajun wings on left and honey bbq wings on right
    Tony J.

This review is for the new location in pooler. It is brand new but still a work in progress. The drive thru microphone doesn't know so you need to wait in line order at the window then pull up and wait 10-20 minutes for your food to be walked out. 1 for service levels. The the wings are small, not a lot of flavor. These could be so much better. Tried the Cajun and honey bbq wings.

The girl who took its order was really sweet and friendly ! She was patient with me when we ordered and showed us on the menu what the most popular combinations were to help me narrow down my choice. We ordered a number 11 (5 wings with fried rice) flavor of choice honey teriyaki. Food came out fast and delicious! Will eat here regularly!

10 bone in wings with an extra blue cheese (needed for 10 wings)

I am not sure how this place opened so quick but all of a sudden they were open and I was excited to see something other than a burger place was filling this space. I went thru the drive thru and the woman taking orders was friendly and helpful and gave me a menu and punch card. I ordered the 10x HOT bone in wings with an extra blue cheese. They came out FAST and hot. I took them home and found them to be meaty and saucy like I like them. The only thing I might ask next time if they could be a bit crispy but I was happy enough with them being juicy. I like that these are normal bone in wings without the breading. My big back will be back especially since the nice lady said they are starting Korean fried chicken soon which sounds fire. My punch card will be filled quickly.

The young lady by name of Delaney was nothing but short, cold, impersonal and not very informative of the restaurant and menu. It was our first time. We came on a Wednesday, which happened to be a great day to come. It's $1 wing day on Wednesday. Great value for your $$. We ordered a few diffrent flavors which included Korean, Garlic parm, and BBQ. All were very good. They are served with celery and carrots. Your choice of Ranch or Blue cheese. We made the mistake by ordering cocktails. They were more like a shot. Very small glasses. They have a good variety and selection of beers on draft. I would recommend going for a beer, plus it taste better with the wings. Lastly, the ambeionce. It was very casual, like a sports bar restaurant vibe. Big screen TV's, a bar that wrapped around, and a nice size outdoor patio. I would come back on a Wed. during happy hour. In hopes that we would getting better service. Wild Wing Cafe could have been a 5 had Miss Delaney provided the service we pay for.

I always find the best spot in whatever city I live in and I become a frequent customer but unfortunately this won't be my go to location. This is a small location connected to a gas station and kind of tucked in the corner of the parking lot. There are a couple of spaces in front of the establishment, but you may have to park on the other side of the gas station if there is a lot of traffic. When you walk in this feels like a legitimate spot with all of the Philly memorabilia and the juice dispensers makes you believe you are about to get an authentic Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, as you can see from my pictures that was not what I received. In addition to this, it took almost 30 minutes to get our sandwiches after waiting about five minutes at the counter by myself while I watched the young lady working prepare other sandwiches before taking any new orders. Meanwhile, another gentleman who I am not sure what his purpose was, stood behind the counter with his arms folded, and simply watched the whole affair without greeting or offering any sort of assistance with regard to the menu or ordering. Just a really bizarre set up but based on the one young lady working it sounds like they're having some significant labor issues so I'll give them a little grace on that. But if you can't deliver a solid sandwich, I have to ding you there. The bread itself, while appearing to be legitimate, was slightly on the stale side so as you can see, once the ingredients were added, it kind of folded in on it itself. The steak was a bit grizzly and dry, and didn't even feel the full bun up, which is definitely a pet peeve for cheesesteaks lovers. And the wings were some of the smallest, driest wings I've had in years. My guess is these were either old wings or previously frozen and fast thawed. Either way, they were almost inedible. Maybe the lack of good labor has affected their overall quality so hopefully they find a solution because this ain't it!

Since everything is made fresh, there can be a bit of a wait--but it's well worth it. There's limited space and no AC inside, so keep that in mind if you plan to wait on-site. What really stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff. The warm vibes made the wait fly by--we even got to chat with some of the folks working there. The food? Absolutely delicious. The seafood sauce was bursting with flavor, and the oxtails were tender and perfectly seasoned. I was bummed they were out of the turkey wings, but that just gives me a reason to come back. Can't wait for round two!
