Be sure to make reservations at least 24 hours in advance. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly. They truly elevated the entire experience and offered some great recommendations along the way. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't resist dessert and we're so glad we didn't. Every bite felt worth it. We enjoyed the Filet Mignon and Poulet Parmesan, paired with a fruit martini and a Peroni, and finished the evening with their house-made tiramisu. In the end, I had to work with my credit card company to dispute nearly $700 in charges. It's disappointing because we genuinely enjoyed the meal itself, but the stress and frustration caused by the billing situation completely took away from what should have been a special family celebration. The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.
