Ever since moving to the Lake Las Vegas area I have driven past this cute place and been wanting to try it. We stopped in for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised on the cute Farm style decor that was all over the place. The chef and the owner greeted us very friendly and we were seated right away. I had the two egg breakfast and we shared a very French toast that was amazing. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich both entrées were served with either bacon or sausage. The potatoes were homestyle and with tons of flavor! The berry French toast was incredible! The flavors were amazing and you could tell that it had a hint of vanilla and the mascarpone whipped cream was nothing I had ever tasted! The coffee is freshly ground on site and the coffee cup was a generous size. The only thing is that they do not carry decaf coffee so my husband had to settle for an espresso which was a little overpriced. It was explained to us that there is not enough traffic to brew a whole pot of decaf coffee as it's not very popular which is completely understandable. Another nice touch was that the chef came over to our table, checked on us and thanked us for coming in. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu! read more

We are visiting friends in Henderson, we live in CA. We had breakfast here this morning. From walking in to leaving, this place, it is so inviting. I love that part of the restaurant is set up like a cozy Bristo, with couches and chairs. You can order your coffee and pastries without having to go into the restaurant side. We ate breakfast and it was all delicious! Eggs, potatoes, omelettes, speciality coffee, service, all outstanding! The decor is really cute and comfortable. There is also a patio. I've been coming to this beautiful coffee and quaint restaurant since it opened. The staff is absolutely amazing--Jules is a great Barista as well as the Manager and she always has a smile and a hello for you. Kaitlyn just crushes it as a waitress and in the coffee side! All the rest of the staff is truly wonderful to see all the times I come in from the kitchen to the dining room it's pure joy. Dan is the owner and has setup a great spot her in Lake Las Vegas (down the street on Lake Mead) so do yourself a favor and come in for great food and coffee whether your in a hurry or a place to open up your laptop and stay awhile. Our favorite breakfast place was closed for renovations (boo) and so we came to this breakfast place. There is ample parking and the dining area is large. They pride in specialty coffee and have a large variety of coffee choices. We tried their cold brew and it was excellent. Their portions were very good, the food was flavorful, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall a very good breakfast experience. read more

Everything was great about this experience! The drinks were yummy, and the food was excellent. I was so happy when I learned the cook is from the south- so I quickly ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy. It was so wonderfully peppery and full of sausage, I did the food dance of happiness in my seat the whole time I was eating. My husband ordered the strawberry French toast, and he said it was great, as well! We will definitely be coming back to try new things, but I can't imagine anything better than that gravy... it took me back to my grandma's kitchen. read more

All of the talk is true. This place is great! We came here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning around 10. It was not very crowded. There is plenty of outdoor seating and it is dog friendly. There is even a dog menu! For my meal I had the avocado toast. It was perfection. I ordered a bowl of fruit as a side and it was fresh and a generous portion. The husband had an egg sandwich on sourdough bread and loved it. Our pup had the yogurt bowl and licked it clean. I'm so glad we came here for lunch today. It's my last full day in Las Vegas visiting family and my SIL had suggested Toasted, so a quick Yelp search came up with Toasted and Roasted nearby the house. The menu looked good, so off we went. It's located in, what looks like, a newer section of town inside a small mall, next to a nail salon with lots of parking. The interior is clean and spacious, with comfortable seating and ample room for the stroller at the table. The menu is not extensive, but does offer a variety of different options. "Standard" breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings, but also ones with their own unique delicious twist; like Bananas Foster French toast, or Steak eggs Benedict. We did try the French toast and is a definite winner. They, unfortunately, had run out of bananas, but we just decided to get it anyway; just topped with the caramel sauce and marscapone. It was still delicious; so much so, that we're thinking about coming back again tomorrow just to get it again with the bananas (or even without). I ordered the Sherry mushroom burger, which was also delicious; one of the best burgers I've ever had. The 8 oz patty was cooked mid-rare (as I requested), and was moist and flavorful, topped with tender mushrooms and Swiss cheese, along with tomatoes, greens, and a flavorful aioli, in a soft brioche bun. We also had the chicken wrap; another delicious option. Our server, Kahlen, had suggested it as one of the favorites. She was super nice, and correct, as the chicken is nicely cooked, moist, with a slightly crisp coating. They also offer beer, wine, a Bloody Mary cocktail, and Mimosas, with HH from 1-3pm daily. All the servers are friendly, and provide great service. This place is a jewel in the desert, and a must try for a great meal any day of the week. read more

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while and I really enjoyed it! It's such a quiet shopping center I was glad to see this place was fairly busy for a Friday morning. I got the eggs Benedict and the ham and eggs were all cooked very well. The potato's were not super seasoned but they had a great taste to them. Went through my Yelp brunch list in all Henderson/Vegas and decided to give this a try! This is definitely on my top brunch place in Henderson. They offer fresh brew coffee, but since they did not have French vanilla creamer, I opted out to have a French vanilla latte. My husband had the German chocolate almond latte. The picture doesn't show it because the whipped cream had sunk in by the time our server brought it, but inside his drink had chunks of almond. I don't suggest anyone getting this drink if they are allergic to nuts. I did try it and it was too much chocolate for me, though the almond crush made it good. Our food was off the charts - the California omelette was exquisite in all flavors. It was a good portion size that you can enjoy. The potatoes on the side were all right, they're a little too soft in my personal opinion, I like them a little extra crunchy. So if I get this again, I would ask for the potatoes to be on the crispy side. Also came with an option side of toast. I selected sourdough bread. This place is very cute for any occasion. You wouldn't expect it to be big inside, but once you turn around the corner there is more sitting. There is an outdoor patio looking out, hopefully it could be a good extension to add outdoor patio for the good weather in Vegas. Hole-in-the-wall breakfast/lunch spot with excellent food and drinks! We sat outside on their patio with our dog. Service was friendly and fast! Food came out quick & hot! Coffee was fresh, good quality, and strong! Iced White Chocolate Hazelnut Latte was yummy! Food was delicious and overall excellent quality! Both the breakfast burrito (fluffy scrambled eggs and tons of sautéed chorizo, which was not overly salty) and the breakfast sandwich with the sausage patty and sunny side eggs (sandwiched between a soft brioche bun) were 5/5! Stopped in for breakfast the space itself was really cute and nicely decorated -- cozy, clean, and welcoming. We were greeted right away and seated quickly. Our server was genuinely kind and attentive throughout the visit. I ordered the brie and grilled apple toast , but unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. The apple slices were super thin, so they ended up tasting more like dried apple -- barely noticeable and lacking balance next to the brie. I sent it back, which they handled graciously with no issues. I swapped it for the avocado toast, which was much better. Great flavor and seasoning, and I appreciated the option to add a scrambled egg. They accidentally brought it out over easy at first, but corrected it quickly and didn't charge me for the egg . The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the bread -- it was a thick multi- or nine-grain slice that wasn't toasted all the way through, so the texture was a bit too soft for my liking. Personal preference, but I like my toast with a serious crunch! Coffee was decent -- not amazing, but not bad either. Overall, I'd give the experience a solid 6/10. The service definitely stood out and made me feel taken care of. The food has potential, so I might come back to try something more classic like a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich or their French toast. So happy we checked this place out! It's so close to us living in Cadence. From the moment we walked in the staffw as super friendly and they love dogs which was so great. We sat outside on their patio. Someone brought my dog a bowl of water and offered complimentary bacon for him to snack on. Service was very attentive and friendly. Giving great recommendations. My husband was town between the eggs in purgatory and the bananas foster French toast. She said those were to of their best sellers and suggested the eggs in purgatory and a half order of the French toast. Great tip! The food was sooooo good. Would order all three dishes again! Definitely don't sleep on the banana foster French toast. It was flavorful and had some cinnamon crunch to it still. So perfect. The eggs in purgatory has goat cheese, I'm not a fan of goat cheese but it was blended well and not over powering. The signature lattes were great. They offer hot and cold drinks and have oat milk/almond milk substitutions as needed. We would highly recommend this place and will be back with more friends and family in the future! read more

Cute establishment. The food was all tasty, the service was fantastic. We went at 11:00 on a weekday so not too crowded. Sat in their lovely patio. They were kind enough to position umbrellas to keep us in the shade as it was quite warm. We all agreed that the Rueben was probably one of the best Rueben's we all had tasted. My salmon toast was piled high with smoked salmon with a light smear of cream cheese, cucumber slices, pickled onions and capers. Very good. My church friends and I were looking forward to a special get together this morning to celebrate a despedida. Alas, the receptionist/cashier was not however eager to seat us right away and when we were seated 25 minutes later, the server slammed/slid the water drinks on our table with nary a smile as if displeased she had to serve us. Four of our friends had diabetes so I inquired twice if I could order ahead but the receptionist kept saying we had to wait. Instead, she served 3 other customers who came after us. I have no problem paying a 20% charge for a large party.. but when no good service is rendered, is that fair? I got the sense that we were mistreated because we are Asians. It seems that if they made us wait too long, we would eventually be insulted enough to leave. A couple did leave because of their ill treatment. read more

We stumbled into this place after realizing the smoothie place across the parking lot was a take away spot and we couldn't eat inside. Walking in, I was a bit confused as it looked like a warehouse/loft decorated coffee shop, probably located in the Midwest somewhere, and not a sit down restaurant. This isn't a dig. I love visiting family in Kansas and North Dakota and I feel like all the coffee shops I've been in these places look like this. Industrial but homey with great comfortable seating. There was a host stand but we didn't notice it. We walked right past it to try to look at a menu, not realizing this place is a dual establishment. You can order a coffee and a snack and sit in the coffee shop or takeaway, but you can also sit in the restaurant around the corner. The barista seated us in the restaurant almost immediately. The place is clean and organized and decorated with cute, farm-y, décor. The tables are all set before you sit, adding a bit of ambiance, even if you're not having anything in a mug. Our server was really nice and had a lot of patience. I think she was really young, so she kept apologizing for things not in her control (like she meant to come back and take our order sooner but another customer was going on and on about something and she couldn't get away.) This was really sweet and showed she cared about her job and us. She constantly checked up on us and made sure we were enjoying our meals. Rockstar! Now to the food. I had the eggs in purgatory. EXCELLENT!!! Now, it is a little different than what you might expect, this version is a base of grits/polenta with an egg of your choice and some red sauce/veggies. Not exactly traditional but really, really good. To be honest though, they might need to work on their timing here. I watched my bowl sit on the counter while my husbands BYO omelet was being made and when I got my food, it had gone a bit cold. I would have preferred it hotter, but the fact that it was still good a bit cold speaks volumes. And the coffee here??? Don't let anyone say the coffee here isn't fan-freaking-tastic. We both ordered iced coffees, me the German Almond and him the Cinnamon swirl shaken espresso with oat milk. My partner got steak and eggs- the steak was smaller than expected and also wasn't very good, could've made better at home. The house coffee was really nasty/ watery, even after adding sugar and cream. Pretty disappointed this time around and unfortunately will not be going back. Driving by and noticed a sign saying coffee. I was curious as this was once a ghost town of a shopping plaza for over ten years. It had a few new businesses. I noticed a pizza place, Nail business and smoothie place. I decided to try the coffee because I love trying new coffee spots Walked in and they were really busy with people Waiting as well. It looks like the hours are 7-3pm Monday through Sunday. I ordered a Mocha Chocolate coffee. It comes with whip cream. They also have pastries for purchase and you can be seated for a sit down breakfast. The cashier who took my order was nice. Stated they have been open four weeks and that they currently serve breakfast Wednesday through Sunday only for now I'll have to go back and try breakfast. read more

We visited on a quiet day about an hour before closing and moved from one outdoor table to another nearby to sit in the sunlight since we had only been served water. The hostess (girl with curly hair and highlights) approached us in a demeaning tone and made an unnecessary comment about how the sun was moving and that it "wouldn't matter anyway." The interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. What led to this one-star review was an issue with the food ordered for our dog. We ordered the "pup scramble" (scrambled eggs and potatoes listed on the menu specifically for dogs). When it arrived, it was covered in what appeared to be black pepper and other seasonings. The waitress confirmed it should not have been seasoned and said it would be remade. Shortly after, the hostess casually said the kitchen had mixed up the order. There was no apology or concern expressed. Had I not noticed the seasoning, my dog could have become sick, as many seasonings such as garlic and onion are toxic to dogs, especially small dogs. When the bill arrived, we suggested notifying the manager about this serious mistake, but the waitress said they would "just roll their eyes and not care anyway." She also rushed us through payment while I was still packing our food to go. The food did not justify the price. The biscuits and gravy were bland, and the Reuben sandwich was dry and falling apart. Overall, the hospitality was very poor. Simple requests felt judged, and we were not thanked when leaving. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. read more

What an incredible find!! We had a delicious brunch at Toasted and Roasted. Its a very welcoming venue with one side being a relaxed Coffee Lounge ( with a barista) and the other side being a lovely dining room with tables. We ordered Eggs Benedict and Shrimp and Grits and they were both fantastic. Yes, they have the machine that juices whole oranges while you watch. ( makes all of the difference with actual fresh squeezed Orange Juice) Great Coffee offerings also. We were served by Tori, who was just lovely. She did a great job of welcoming us and telling us all of the best options. We will definitely be back to Toasted and Roasted!!! read more

Decided to grab some breakfast after a short flight back from Colorado. This was on a top 5 of one of the Influencers I follow so, I figured I'd give it a try. The table they sat me at was not completely clean, I'm a stickler for that ;I don't want to see crumbs or pieces of food, it had both. I don't drink coffee so I grabbed a Chai. I tried the Lavender White Mocha, it was tasty but not very hot. I expect the Chai to burn my lips, . I ordered the French Toast, a side of eggs and the chicken apple sausage. The food was actually delicious. My only complaint is the mascarpone made my French toast a tiny bit soggy but I'm not a fan of whipped topping and I should have asked for it to be left off. The waitress was okay. Took her a while to check on me but she did. She wasn't friendly but she got the job done. This is a cute little cafe and worth the visit. read more

I have eaten here since it opened and I've always loved the atmosphere and the quality of the food. However, the last few times I've come here to eat I've noticed they've changed a few things such as the breakfast burrito, the French fries, the potatoes, etc. in my opinion, these changes are not for the better and I do not enjoy it as much as I previously did. I came here with my family this morning and the service was just meh. It was not crowded but food took awhile (probably around 40 minutes) to come out. I once looked into the kitchen and didn't see a single person in there. My husband ordered a Santa Fe steak wrap and when it came out the steak was cold. The French fries are flavorless since they swapped from the skinny seasoned fries. The kids French toast was burnt. Toast didn't come with any butter. Nothing we had was delicious, all unremarkable. Paying 100 dollars for this meal felt terrible, definitely not worth what we received. A couple at the table next to us had an issue with their food and it appeared the owner was attempting to rectify the issue. I like to see this, but I don't have the heart to point out to him that the whole meal was lackluster. I feel I have slowly seen a decent in food quality which sucks, I hope they figure out a way to do better. read more
