If you don't know what to order or how to order, the staff will kindly help you. The BBH is actually really tasty! We each got a large bowl, piled a bunch of veggies/chilli/and lime into the bowl. We were not prepared for the heat because the previous chilli wasn't spicy. Overall, quality and tastiness of the food was very enjoyable. Presentation of the food was also well done. My mom always raved about this restaurant and I now know why. We had been trying to find a place with Bún bò Huế for the longest but did not have much luck. Until I tried, it took me back to my childhood. The Bún bò Huế had so much flavor and so much food in one portion. The service was amazing and everyone was very attentive. It had been 5+ years since I dined here. Back then it was "Duc Chuong No. 2" It has changed hands recently and I guess that explains why I did not get what I'd hoped for. I had been there several times and it became my idea of authentic bbh. But here everything in today's bowl was meager: less beef, bland blood cube, and just a small thin slice fish cake instead of the larger traditional size. It was good enough to finish. But I'll be searching for my new fave. read more

This place used to be called Duc Chuong now they changed the name under the new management. They sell other dishes not only BBH. I didn't like their BBH before the new management took over. A friend of mine told me this place is good for BBH and last time i tried to get a to-go but they were sold out. Today i made a trip there for take out. I can barely smell the lemongrass and the broth is so bland. The meat is very rough too. They charge $0.99 per one item togo. We had 3 BBH to go so $3 additional charge. I don't think I will be back. Since it's been renovated with new management, I've really been enjoying its new flavors compared to it's predecessor. I am a big fan of Bun Bo Hue, the portions I feel are very good, the bowl is nice and big. The chili oil spice is super hot, I really enjoy it with a nice fresh squeeze of lime. read more

The first time we went here, it was a good experience. Didn't like the fact that they want a tip before serving the food. Also the prices on the brochure isn't correct, if they weren't going to get new brochures, at least crossed it out with the new price. Second time around, we waited 30 minutes for our food to be out, Unacceptable! The young girl who was taking our order started typing before I even finished ordering.
