These guys are fantastic. I've been talking with Anderson for a couple of years now about tuning a porsche. The problem, is I keep trading it in before I can get around to tuning in. This time as soon as I got my car, I dropped off there. I have a 991.2 GTS. After talking with Anderson, and then Jared, who is the guy that actually does the tune, I went with the Cobb OTS tune with PDK. I'm so glad I did it. i have had two incredibly great experiences with BBI, and with Rich in particular. Years ago I had some upgrades on my 2006 Cayman S and they did it in the same day so I didn't have to make two 90 mile cab rides. I hung out in their showroom and they were very gracious. On my second experience...between when I pre-paid and when I was to bring my car in...my car was totaled and I had to cancel the project. They were very helpful and understanding in helping me minimize the costs with the parts suppliers. BBI has been known in the Porsche and tuning world for a long time and have been known as a premier tuner for water cooled Porsches. I was initially intimidated to call them in the first place for repairs on my Porsche 996. After all, I have the most hated of the 911 line and my budget was very low compared to some of the builds known to come out of the shop (they have 2 Carrera GT's for god sake!). After talking on the phone with Charles Kahle, all that fear went out the window. I first called about BBI's Clutch Slave Cylinder Conversion for the 996 Turbo. It is very common for these things to fail, and I needed some more knowledge on which route to go with. Charles walked through the differences between the factory, theirs and some other competitors. He was honest with the pro's and con's of each and convinced me to go with their product. Now, the rabbit hole. While I was there, I asked about a few questions on my car, since I knew there were going to be other areas down the road. I noticed a coolant leak on the car, before having to ask, Charles already knew about the weakness on the 996 Turbo cooling system and warned me about the problem. We then went on to talk about the direction of the car, how to bullet proof it in a way, and which direction to upgrade within my budget and means. They even told me ways of saving money, rather than spending it. Every single time I have stepped foot in the door, Charles has greeted me with great enthusiasm, and always grabs the specialist of each department to answer my questions if he is not able to answer it himself. I even met the owner, Betim Berisha, I have seen him on a lot of Youtube and other social media going over their impressive builds. Even though I was open about not having a large budget and keeping cost low, even Betim was more than willing to give his time. He even offered me a ridiculous deal on a set of BBS wheels and tires that were way below msrp. I feel that I saved a ton of money on the advice they gave me alone, and they were even kind enough to discount some parts and services for me to meet my budget. In the end, I recommend this shop. I feel like they gave me the same respect and service for my low end 996 as they did to an owner of a GT3 Touring, Carrera GT or even Mclaren 675LT, all of those cars by the way were their during one of my many visits. I had a disappointing experience with XM Broker. At first, I was enticed by their bonus after investing about $30,000, but my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I tried to withdraw my money. Despite meeting all the requirements, they refused to process my withdrawal. It's a shame they couldn't deliver on their promises, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for reliable trading. Had a common issues where a coolant pipe pops out these guys make a billet piece that presses in and gets TIG welded in place a big time improvement over the factory setup. This was my first time at BBI and I was very impressed with how responsive and comprehensive they were. Anderson and Jared were just outstanding. I have a 997.2 TT MT with bolt on mods that I had bought 7 months ago and it was stuttering at 60-80% throttle - 100% was fine. They data logged the car (found some issues with knocking) and checked everything mechanically, they recommended a re-tune, which I did, and more importantly they fine tuned the mappings with a road test and the car is unbelievable now. So smooth and linear in power delivery with a 20% increase in HP and Torque over stock. Thank you! And I will be back for all future service - routine and project based. They are an amazing shop. My experience is very similar to one written by Fess S. When they did work on my car once, it was well-peformed. But all attempts at communication over the next few years after that have been ignored. No voice mails returned, etc. I think they are selective of clients now and only want big "SEMA-esque" show jobs. Purchased and picked up the BBi Seat base and slider kit and I attempted to it install myself in order to make an event the same weekend. The base didn't seem to fit. Texted BBi and they were quick to arrange for me to stop by on short notice! Turns out the thick stock 996 carpet was pushing the seat base to misalign. Cut a bit out and it fit just fine. BBi team was super nice in having a tech help me install it. They completely made it right for me. Then followed up to make sure I was happy with the product. Thank you Charles and team!! Will be looking you up for my future motor-sporting needs! =D Note to self: It really takes about 6-8 hours to fiddle and install the race seat if it is your first time or non-mechanically inclined like me. So you may consider paying for the install if time and effort is in high demand for you. I also needed a 7/16-20 grade 8 nut and washer for the stock seat belt receptacle bolt (don't have harnesses yet). Stock seat base has a threaded bracket. Also it is very convenient solution to buy a seat from neighboring Sube sports who partner with BBi and recommended them to me for bracket and install. read more

I wanted to move forward and then I was informed I would be getting an email with quote for requested work. I called numerous times, left VM, even spoke to someone letting me know I would get a call back.. no call return whatsoever. Sourced and installed new Recaro seats in my Porsche. They did an excellent job, done in a day. Great customer service and quality work.

I've had work done on my GT3 RS several times at this shop. My experience is usually quite mixed with them. Communication is generally poor, so if you're going to work with these guys, you have to have a lot of patience. The worst experience I had with these guys, was that I paid for work to be done, and then they didn't complete the job because one of their employees went on vacation. They said to just bring the car back when he was available to finish the job and then Covid-19 happened. After a few months I contacted them again and the sales representative I spoke to developed amnesia and wanted to charge me additionally to complete the job that I already paid them to do. Unfortunately, I didn't have as clear a paper trail as I needed to make a good case, since most the communication was on the phone. It's quite possible that this was a matter of misunderstanding but I doubt it. Regardless, if you work with them, make sure you have a very clear paper trail, and be willing to put up with some poor communication, which can lead to situations such as my own. I won't be bringing my car back, but from what I can tell, they don't really need or care about my business anyway. read more

Amazing service! I brought my Gt3 here from San Diego because I heard great things about the shop. Not only did they live up to my expectations, but they exceeded them. Batim and Joey were super professional and easy to work with. Batim really spent a lot of time going over all my options and explaining the details before we got started with the work. I would expect to pay a premium for this type of detail and customer service, but their pricing was very competitive. BBI has serviced my highly modified 996TT for the past year. My car is basically a daily driver and they never try to push me into unnecessary work or "upgrades" even when I (foolishly) propose them. There are at least four great Porsche shops in Orange County but it would be hard to convince that there is one better than BBI. read more

There are a few things in life we know are for certain, like the impermanence of human existence. But we should seriously consider adding BBi Autosport to the exclusive list of life's certainty's. My 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo was having serious driveability issues due to many major modifications. Without making this mind blowingly satisfied customer review the length of the English dictionary, I will simply say this. If you have 4 wheels and need assistance, whether it be minor/major BBi Autosport is the first and last place you should ever consider. Oh, and my Turbo I mentioned (which i shipped from Miami to BBi), well that car is a LIFER now, because BBi absolutely crushed the hell out of that build. I am in love, and couldn't be happier, thanks to Charles & the entire crew at BBi. Just to give you readers a background in my very recent car ownership history. I've had a 2013 E92 limerock M3 great car, two 2015 991 Porsche GT3s, one Porsche 991.2 GT3, Mclaren 570s, lastly Porsche 991 GT3RS. I've also spent time with the Lamborghini huracan performanté, and Ferrari 488GTB. So, to answer that burning question of which car I enjoy, and love the most...you know, my custom 100 octane 650whp Turbo that use to have major driveability issues .
