This is not a review for their services but for their box truck driver. On Monday, July 18 at 11:30am, we were driving on highway 12 and noticed the box truck driving erratically. We were behind the truck and the driver pulled on the shoulder to the right like he was pulling over, but then abruptly and without pause made a 90 degree style U-turn while cars thought they were letting them pass on the left. Two cars nearly crashing into the side of the truck while he/she/other pulled this sudden maneuver on a 50 mile an hour highway. It almost caused a collision on both sides of the road because then the driver was driving on the wrong side of the road for long enough that cars had to stop entirely to yield to this maniac. We thought they may have either been on a drunken bender or a murder-suicide mission. Hopefully a supervisor will look into this before their driver kills somebody. read more

The staff at La Tavola, specifically Heather, are so great to work with. I went to their showroom in downtown Sacramento last year and Heather was so helpful. My husband and I rented navy napkins and ivory Aurora runners. Their quality is amazing! Those items made the place settings and the centerpieces at our wedding so beautiful! Due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding and then downsize. We must have changed our order 10 times, but they were always so understanding and accommodating. We chose to have the order shipped to our venue and then we shipped it back to them. The process was so easy and convenient. They have so many beautiful linens in their inventory (in every price range) and if I ever need to rent linens in the future, I'm definitely going to La Tavola first. read more

As an event planner, my vendors mean the world to me. I just recieved a charge from my caterer for an event where they were using La Tavola for napkins. We canceled the event two weeks prior due to the COVID-19 ban on events with 10 or more people as we were to have 50 people. I am now stuck paying for napkins that I never got, never used that were canceled. Every other vendor was flexible and we weren't charged for any other service. We didn't charge our attendees. Poor business and I won't ever use them. read more

I am an event planner for a non-profit in California. We do many events and deal with many different vendors pertaining to the rental industry. I saw La Tavola linens and fell in love, unfortunately the staff is lacking tact, professionalism and accountability. We came into the Beverly Hills location, not a single customer in the store, but the staff lady could not have been more "put out" to answer questions we had. We placed an order for some linens and then two weeks later was told that our linens were booked for the day we reserved them and we were out of luck...this was AFTER they confirmed the order. After having planned the details of our wedding for a year and designing our table decor with those linens in mind, this was heartbreaking. They ended up using a replacement, which was the most they could do at that point, but it was a totally different style. I placed an order two months ago, to get an immediate confirmation of the order - speedy service confirming linens have been put on hold for me. However, I'm expecting a delivery today by 1pm, I get an email at 1:02pm saying fabric just arrived for the linens yesterday and they are sewing right now... If I could just get the linen samples I ordered... I placed my first order on a Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived in the mail on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the colors weren't exactly what I was looking for so I immediately placed another order. And waited. Nothing in the mail. I called the following week and was told that Christina mailed all samples on Monday. It was Tuesday so I waited some more. Nothing. I called again to explain my predicament and that I was looking for a linen to match a specific flower. The person had no idea what linen I should get. She took my phone number and said they would call me back. Days later - still no call back. I place an order for the same linen samples again hoping to reproduce my Sunday to Wednesday turnaround. Still no samples and no call back. This just sucks. Everyone recommends using La Tavola for linens but how the heck am I supposed to use them if I can't get samples of them?? read more
