After discovering this super cool looking space in the Basement during a Yelp event, a friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a spa day here. I had a bit of a hard time getting someone on the phone to make an appointment at first, but I left a message and they sent me a text message to book aa couple days later. Once we were texting, the communication was very easy and I was even able to text for updates to our appointment times and such. The ladies who did our mani/pedis were so friendly and we had a great time talking and getting to know them while we got pampered. I love that every service is done from the comfortability of a plush leather chair. I didn't have to move the entire time we were there and felt truly relaxed. Their gel polish selection is a little limited, but all the basics are there, plus a few extra fun ones. And the pricing is pretty standard for a spa gel polish mani/pedi. I think it cost about $100 for both services. Overall, we loved it so much that we made a return appointment and 4 weeks later the fell polish on my toes is still going strong. read more

Loved my experience here!! Had an appointment for the "Dr.'s orders" ($72) about a week ago with Brytnii and she did amazing! I unfortunately have my fathers feet, big, rough, dry and cracked. I'm actually pretty insecure about them and hadn't gotten a pedicure in YEARS so I was feeling extra nervous/insecure about having someone cleaning them up but Brytnii made me feel so comfortable!! She was so kind and knowledgeable. I will for sure be going back. I know they are pricey but in my opinion it is worth every single penny! read more

The BEST birthday gift ever for the hubs. Hands down the most ingenious concept for manly men pedicures and the barber directly across. Found them by way of "The 'Gram" and it turned out to be the most entertaining couples thing we've ever done. He's no longer a "virgin" and is excited to put this in his calendar as a regular thing. Our son was anxious to go himself and equally enjoyed along with his wifey. Another virgin no more! Diana and Nicole were so fun and made it very relaxing and non-intimidating for the men. Of course the liquid courage BBM offers didn't hurt. The big comfy chairs were perfect for our big and tall men completing the manly, comfy experience. Us girls could not stop smiling (and we loved our pedis, too, of course) and seems we have a new date destination. If your man needs an extra push, come early for cocktails at the Seven Troughs Speakeasy before making your way down the hall to BBM. Thank you BBM-it was awesome! read more

They returned my message, but they mostly did massage, not acrylic or gel nails. So I never did visit them.

Our first visit was a few years ago when it was owned by the barber shop across the hall. It was a 5 star salon then. We came back to reno and decided to pay them another visit. We arrived to our appts, was greeted by one nail technician, the other was on her cell phone. The salon looked the same, beautifuly decorated, but definitely not the same. We were told to sit down. We booked the day at the beach pedicures for couples. We were not offered our complimentary drinks, even after my husband brought them up, his technician (the owner) didnt give him cuticle work, nail file, or offer paint color or the buff and shine that is stated in the description. This salon was originally opened to specialize in men. She began his pedicure at least 5 minutes after mine and finished 10 minutes before. She was on her cell phone the majority of the time we were there. The technician doing my pedicure was much friendlier but she scrubed a sore in the side of my heal, and scratched the top of my foot. We were shocked at the poor quality, the rudness, especially for the prices. My husband tried speaking to the owner at the time but she again was on her cell phone, we sent a email with no response. I booked a pedicure appointment for two through their convenient online booking. We waited outside as the appointment before us wrapped up. Partway through our soak, we discovered that I had booked the wrong day when the next appointment showed up. The manager was fantastic and was still able to take care of us and started the new people while making sure we were socially distanced and had different carts with supplies. I really appreciated her still taking care of us as I'm sure it was a bit overwhelming looking over 4 people at once. I ended up with the perfect pedicure and enjoyed my glass of wine that was part of the package. Will be back! read more

Today I treated my husband and daughter to a pedicure called the triple D. Actually found the BBM lounge on Yelp and what a gem! Super fun set up in the basement. Masculine vibe but cool and really made my husband feel more comfortable. Daughter loves it and can't wait to bring her husband for a date night when visiting. Also they have a speakeasy down the hall with some food options that can be delivered. Coffee shop also and wine or beer included in the pedicure service. I will also be back with my husband and make an afternoon evening of it getting a pedicure and enjoying some drinks at the speakeasy before heading to dinner. The concept is super cool! Love it! Okay so this was my first time here. I made an appointment online which was great and super easy. Came here with my cousin for two pedicures. DIANA is the BEST! She was sooo friendly and accommodating, offered us our complimentary drinks right away and even gave us the menu for the speakeasy down the hall to order more drinks or food if we wanted. Me and my friend went to BBM nail lounge last week. She had a gel pedicure, I had a manicure. We both were very disappointed. The technician was very pleasant. The facility wasn't very clean or comfortable. They didn't have a place sit for a manicure, so I ended putting my feet in a bowl they use fora pedicure. The manicure lasted about 20 minutes, and they charged fifty dollars. My friend had a gel pedicure and she was charged 75 dollars. I feel they over charge, considering I just had a gel pedicure at a new spa in Reno, which is very nice, and I paid the same price. I was told they have a new owner, so hopefully she'll make improvements and be more competitive on her prices. read more

I LOVE coming here for my pedicures. I go religiously every 4 weeks. The place is always immaculate and I just love Nicole!

OK, it was a little challenging to find the entrance to their place (the last time I was in Reno the building was still a Post Office, and their location is within the basement level), but once I did I had a blast. They also have the best space totally set up for multiple people (couples, friends, etc.) while still remaining in complete compliance with all the new rules. Subpar pedicure especially for the price. My tech spent more time cleaning then she did doing my pedicure. I showed up a bit before my appointment time and was told to wait in the lobby since they weren't ready for me. They showed up 10 minutes later. I was offered a beverage then I spent most of my appointment with my feet soaking in the copper basin. I received a quick snip of the nails, I wasn't asked how short I wanted my nails, a quick scrub, then my feet were wrapped up while the tech continued cleaning. Finally they gave me a half ass foot massage and painted my toes. I didn't book an express appointment. My actual appointment with tech focusing on me was a half hour tops, more like 20 minutes. My heels looked the same as when I arrived. Hard pass unless you enjoy lazy nail tech that enjoys cleaning. I think they encourage cocktails so that you don't notice the awful service. No way in hell would I go back here and am seriously considering disputing my credit card charge. read more

I am still a new comer at this nail salon,( 3 times) but intend at keeping this salon as "my place" for nails. Good vibe there, nice looking, clean comfortable salon. My tech nicole always makes me feel welcome and valued, they don't do gel nails or art on nails, but an amazing job on more of a "theraputic" session. Prices are not cheap, but inline for the service. Downside: parking is an issue, at meters on the street. read more

Was disappointed with the service. I booked an appointment a couple days out in advanced. My appointment was canceled on the day off I was told it would have been rescheduled the next day and I would get a phone call.
