I came here to celebrate my birthday with some coworkers (a group of 7). We received a lot of food for the price. I enjoyed the food but most of my coworkers did not enjoy their meals at all. The service was decent but our waitress couldn't explain what was in certain meals when we asked and she couldn't answer some of our questions. I was slightly disappointed to learn that the lunch box meal was different than the last time I was there and they changed all the sides (they removed a bunch of sides I really liked and that was a reason I ordered the lunch box). read more

I come here pretty often because it's one of the cleanest Korean bbq places and the meat is higher quality. My mom also comes here quite often which is saying a lot because she's a very picky eater and makes the best Korean food. We mainly pick traditional Korean dishes and found that they have a pretty clean taste to it so no msg unlike some other places. We've also ordered their bbq such as short ribs, pork belly, bulgogi, etc. The bulgogi is a little sweet for our taste buds but still pretty good. Sushi bar is surprisingly good as well but that's expected since the owner also owns Matsu. Oh and they have draft beer! Plan on going there tonight! read more

Something new and different! We ordered the pork ribs with cheese - did half spicy and half BBQ seasoned ribs which comes with spicy rice cakes and corn. It was so cheesy and delicious. The spicy was really good but the BBQ one, not so much. I would definitely come back! read more

The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. It was easy to place an order by phone and it was ready for pickup when I got there. Unfortunately, the galbi box I ordered was under par. I thought that galbi is a lean meat, but what I got was 95% fat and inedible. The box is served with white rice, 3 pieces of california rolls with imitation crab, miso soup, deep fried vegetables, and a side salad. It's a lot of food for the price but very generic and low quality food. I really was only able to eat a few bites of galbi that admittedly was well seasoned, just so i didn't feel like I had completely wasted my money, and the a few spoonfuls of rice. We ordered KKot Galbi, $35.00 per one order. We started with 4 order and kept add orders and the quality got very bad and finally we found out they used other part of meat instead of Kkot Galbi part. We asked waitress and she admitted that and charged with lower price. This is cheating customers and can't believe they charged. We spend more than $200.00. read more

My wife wanted to come here for her birthday. We got a premium beef shabu-shabu, some galbi and pork belly to grill. The shabu-shabu is wonderful, just a few swishes through the broth and ready to eat. The premium beef appears to be tenderloin. The galbi was amazing, so tender and delicious, and a very large serving. The pork belly was average, on par with the other Korean restaurants in this area. With the banchan and a couple of Sapporos, we were happily stuffed. The place was packed for Monday lunch time, and we appeared to be the only non-Korean speakers there, which probably speaks for the authenticity of the food. Despite that, the staff treated us great, making sure our banchan was good and that we were happy. read more

It was a weekday during the daytime that I went to this spot. From the moment of walking in, the service was lacking. No one was around. After waiting a little while longer somebody finally seated us. They took our order, we ordered the hot chicken with cheese, shabu shabu premium beef, and dolsot bibimbap. The food was ok, but the service and lighting was what kind of soured the whole thing. The place is just too dark. The service was frustrating when I tried to ask simply where the noodles were for the shabu shabu, but the staff just does not speak any english at all. The hot chicken was ok, but if you're looking for like korean wings it's not going to be what you wanted. The Shabu Shabu was just disappointing. The staff was not really that attentive. The bibimbap was the only thing that was meeting expectations, but that dish you can get pretty much anywhere. Overall, i don't think it was worth it for the price paid. read more

Love their Bulgogi & BBQ21 cheese special, both the spicy chicken & the spicy pork ribs. Just be sure they are done right according to your preference and not overcooked. Been there thrice already, once when I discovered it with a friend, then with family. Even the kids loved their salad, miso soup, Bulgogi & fried rice. They even tried the Pork ribs, the Bulgogi flavored ones. The cold unfiltered Sake was good & so was Green Tea ice-cream, which doesn't give you the run-of-the-mill soft-serve feeling. read more

I gave this place a rating of four stars because the meat was a bit tough. I've been here two or three times before and always ordered the cheese ribs. The only flavor ribs that are worth ordering is the spicy flavor. The cheese was good although it was not enough. The flavor of the corn and rice cake was sweet and spicy. Loved the place! Our whole frisbee team went and had a feast. Everything we tried was wonderful. I am a big Korean food fan. I can immediately tell how good the restaurant is by looking at the dishes that come first. Kale tasted so good that feel I can even get my teenagers to try! Was a little skeptical when I first saw the BBQ rib with cheese since I am not very big on cheese. But I am glad I tried and it was delicious! The boys loved it! Just ate lunch there today as i am staying at the Fairfax Marriott across the highway from it one more day. Ordered the E-3 sushi bar special, the sushimi combo, which came with a bowl of tofu soup and a small salad. All items were excellent, fresh, good presentation, and tasted great. This place does a pretty good job. The food is good, and the restaurant is clean. We have been here 5 times before and the service was been poor. The first time we came, we were a big party of 15 people, and it took forever for them to bring water out. I finally gave up after asking 3 times and had a dry mouth while trying to finish my plate. The last other times the food was good, but then again service has been poor. One time we came, we were trying to finish eating past their closing time, and literally had the waitress stand beside our table so we can finish eating faster. Yet we seem to continue coming back only because my son likes the Korean galbi. If we find another Korean BBQ place with better service, we will probably not come back here. Tonight after eating here, the waitress never came back to ask if we needed drink refills, even after obviously all our glasses were completely empty with only ice cubes left at the bottom of the glass.
