I absolutely love Korean chicken and the food here is nice big pieces of chicken, which are extremely tender and fresh. Very helpful and fast serving staff as well. The place is super chill vibes as well and has good space to sit.

The MINIMUM 30-minute wait (when not busy) is a downer. Chicken Plus Aurora's wait is 15-20 minutes (when not busy). Both Korean Fried Chicken. That being said, having tried their Golden Fried Chicken............better than any Korean deep-fried chicken restaurants all over the GTA!!! HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN???? We used to order tons of Korean deep-fried chicken from Chicken Plus Aurora, Korean food courts, and other Korean fried chicken restaurants. NONE compare to the flavour, juiciness, and quality of what we had at this place today. And I even arrived late in picking up the food after it sat there on the table for maybe at least 10 minutes after the 30 minutes before driving home. The 30-minute wait aside, this place might put Chicken Plus Aurora out of business if they keep up their food quality and do the right local marketing. The MINIMUM 30-minute wait (when not busy) is a downer. To eat here, you have to prepare ahead of time. The boxes don't look as fancy as Chicken Plus Aurora's, but the food taste and quality are fancier. The price beats most other Korean fried chicken places. But just for the taste and quality, how juicy and delicious these were, yeah we will be back again. Order online ahead of time and go to make it 30 minutes from ordering.

We got the gamjatang jeongol and it was massive for two people. There were raw pork belly slices on top of the gamjatang so I had to make sure they were fully cooked before consuming. It was hard because there was a lot of soup so it made it extra difficult to push the raw items to the bottom. We ordered less spicy but it was still really spicy! It was flavourful and they gave lots of pork bone. We took the rest home and I had to add water to dilute it lol.

For a group of three, we went with budaejjigae (army stew), which is good for two to four people. The server seemed surprised that we weren't ordering more. If the menu lists that it can feed four people, it seemed like plenty for us, and we aren't big eaters. We received four side dishes -- cucumbers, radishes, nappa cabbage kimchi, and one we weren't familiar with. We asked the server what it was, and he said the name, but we still didn't know what it was. I asked him to repeat it, and he appeared quite annoyed that he had to say it more than once. The army stew wasn't cooking once the server had set it down on the table. It looked like the butane gas canister was empty. We used the call button to call the server back, since he was nowhere to be found. The army stew had luncheon meat, sausage, beans, zucchini, kappa cabbage, tofu, rice cakes, instant ramen, and a slice of American cheese. It was delicious.  Overall, the food is good, but the service is quite lacking. We felt like we were bothering the server by inquiring about the side dish, asking for extra chopsticks, and requiring another gas canister.

Ambiance is casual, interior is clean, and service is fast and attentive. We ordered a couple of dishes and they all came out relatively quickly. The banchan (small side dishes) are refillable once only. My favourite banchan of the day were the bean sprouts and eggplant. There were lots of vegetarian and vegan options, such as the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings, Vegetables Bibimbap, Mushrooms Bibimbap, Vegetables Udon, Vegetables Fried Rice, Kimchi Pancake, Soondubu-jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew) in different variations, and more. The menu was pretty extensive, covering the most typical Korean dishes from the stews and grilled items, to a few Korean-Chinese dishes (such as Jajangmyeon) and everything in between. Steamed Vegetables Dumplings were quite small individually, but came in a sizeable portion. I liked the green onion garnish. Taste-wise, they were alright. Vegetables Bibimbap was excellent - good amount of mixed vegetables (spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, carrot strips, lettuce, bean sprouts) and the fried egg was perfectly crispy on the outer edges, with a still gooey and runny yolk. Grilled Croaker was also decent. It had a lot of small bones as it was a whole fish. It came served with purple rice, and we chose to add on extra lettuce. Seafood Knife Cut Noodles came in a big portion - with lots of slippery, thick udon noodles, pieces of seafood (mussels, clams, squid, shrimps, octopus), and a little big of vegetables (zucchini, carrot, onion). They came in a nice seafood-infused broth - perfect for a cold winter day. I'd come again for the variety of menu items they offer (especially the wide selection of vegetarian options), satisfying tastes, and great & efficient service.

Service is a little slow but that's okay, they had a lot of take out orders. They have some combos which would save u some money. Got galbi, sweet and spicy, onion, and supreme. Supreme was my fav. Rose rice cake was really good and chewy, not too spicy. However I found the chicken to have too much batter. Compared to chicken plus aurora, their chicken is a lot juicer and bigger with less batter and also cheaper so don't think I'll be coming back ..

As good as it was, it was more than we could finish so they topped up the soup and we took home the leftovers. The pork chops were served on a sizzling platter, nice and hot. It was delicious! We ordered the spicy ricecakes and kimchi pancake as our appetizers, which were delicious! It was my first time trying the kimchi pancake, and it was so crispy and fresh. There were many options on the menu to choose from but I finally settled for spicy bulgogi which comes with a bowl of rice.
