I may have given them a good rating before based on the fact that i like the macaroni salad and the food always seems fresh. So I eat here often. I walk in rather early-nobody is in there. Looks like they're pulling out supplies although it's afternoon. I order the same thing each time- i think it's the #9- the one with beef and chicken. Today i must have ordered too early in the day. Idk what was going on. Oh boy in the back was unhappy maybe? Maybe tryna get rid of scraps of meat? The only thing hot was the rice. I am so mad! If I could, I'd go back. I can't so i called the young boy i knew would answer the phone-the same one who has the best English in there-the cashier. He acted like he didn't understand i was talking about. Again, mad. Considering eating at the chain joint next door with the massive line-argh! I do know this-there's always a line next door at the Chinese place. They're consistent. Ive lived near this place for 8 years now and until maybe like 3 weeks ago I decided to give this place a try. I was skeptical about the quality and taste of the food so we asked for a sample. I was surprised to see that they actually grill the chicken. So we got the chicken and wings plate. Omg it was like heaven in my mouth. I love the taste of grilled chicken and with the teriyaki sauce it was even more delicious. The wings were also grilled and had a sweet and spicy taste to it. It came with mac salad and a cabbage salad. I usually do no eat my mac salad from any where but this one was amazing! I'm quite surprised I don't see more people reviewing this place. I've tried the teriyaki chicken combo with white rice and macaroni salad. it is very filling and for a good price. Also #31 is very good, my favorite by far. Smoked bbq pork is phenomenal taste like shredded bulgogi. I highly recommend it. I always order everything to go. Because the interior isn't the very cozy. Teriyaki bowl was awesome too. Solid chicken that had juice and flavors gushing out. Ramen soup was a little dissapointing. Ramen took 15-20 minutes but it was definitely just instant Ramen heated up with boiled cabbage soup. Pork combo was pricey. About 8 dollars for a take out box but the two sides are macaroni salad and cabbage. I didn't know you could get two sides of macaroni salad instead so I missed out. Anyway the employees are nice. It's in the home Depot Plaza which is always packed but it's worth a try if you're in the area. This place use to have good decent prices when it came to the quality and price of the food, now the menu is overpriced and most of the food is nasty now, my last visit will be the last for a long while, almost $8 for a shrimp bowl, the shrimp use to be a decent size and delicious, now it's cheat skimpy small nasty shrimps and they only give you like 4 or 5 pieces, don't ever get the shrimp bowl, it's garbage, the owner should be ashamed for raising the price of everything and lowering the taste and quality, I wouldn't recommend this place now, 8 years ago? I was very surprised eating here today... The food was actually really good!!! The meat was made perfectly - both the chicken and the beef. Not to mention, the tempura shrimp roll was great, too! His place is a gem! Their meats are freshly cooked and the macaroni salad is bomb ! The meals come with rice side of salad and side of macaroni However you could double up on the macaroni salad or vice versa. Hey also have bowls which only include rice and veggies , just as bomb. Cheap and fast. Not the best food that I have had, however, my wallet went a really long way, therefore, plus points in that department.
