Just wanted to finally update that we have tried the hot pot dishes.. They are fantastic. We did it to go and it was a substantial portion. Had both the curry beef brisket (bonus.. came with tendon) and the seafood tofu clay pot. Seafood tofu clay pot were among the best we've had in town (and we get it everywhere!). I was especially thrilled with the curry beef brisket dish. It wasn't just the brick of curry that I use at home, they made this themselves and may have used some coconut milk in their mix. Had a little more of a taste of a thai curry, but not the extreme heat that you normally see. We also had the salt and pepper squid... this wasn't our favorite, but maybe it was due to them using a different, heavier batter on their fry than many of the other places in town.. Just threw me off a bit. Yet more for anyone to try when coming here. read more

Just dined here today. The restaurant is not that big just right it is marketed I guess for big groups like families coz there were only booths and round tables with lazy susans. If you are dining here alone or there are just 2 of you it will probably be on the booth. When we came today there was only 1 waitress. When we came in she was already serving 3 tables. Once we were seated it took maybe about 3 minutes before our orders were taken. We ordered the whole flounder in black bean sauce, Lotus root vegetable, yang chow fried rice, one bbq platter (roast duck) and braise pork belly. The orders arrived fast. The one bbq platter (roast duck) came first. It was so moist and delicious but the vegetable that came with it was dry. Then came the rest which were all good. The whole flounder in black bean sauce was tasty but more on the salty side due to the black bean sauce but good portion. The braised pork belly never arrived. The server took the order but seems like she forgot to order it. She seems to be the only one as well. At 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy and noisy. Unfortunately they were out of Soy Sauce chicken & Char Siu pork. Our second choices were good, the supreme chicken was moist and flavorful, the roasted pork was a little dry but tasty. The beef chow fun was very good, good wok flavor and the noodles were fresh and not all broken up. The best plate we had was the Chinese Broccoli, perfectly stir fried, crunchy stalks and they even trimmed the tough skin off the thicker stems so all you got was the tender insides! If there was a zero star, I would have given this establishment that. It was a Thursday early afternoon when I walked in. The restaurant was essentially empty, except for a small table of three. This was a easy decision for my late afternoon snack. I definitely need to come here more often when in the neighborhood. This is one of the few times I didn't order their roast duck, they make one of the best ducks in vegas. I asked what vegetables they had and snow pea leaf was mentioned, that was easy. Next I asked if they had bittermelon, yup, so the decision was made. I forgot they offer house soup as a starter, how many restaurants have that anymore. There was only one table ahead of us, and three employees were standing around while only one waiter was actually taking orders. Unfortunately, the waiter focused on processing takeout orders instead of acknowledging the guests who were already seated. If you're looking for authentic food this is the spot. I love the BBQ Pork and the Fried Rice. This place has endless options though. If you love duck they have that as well. The service was amazing. The decoration is basic but you feel like you're walking into an authentic Chinese restaurant. It's about 15 min from the strip but definitely worth the drive. Don't sleep on this place! A small mom & pop Chinese restaurant. When you walk in you're greeted with traditional hanging roasted ducks and roasted pork. Yummy... The staff are attentive and quick to respond. They did well keeping up with our family dinner of about 40-50 people. We brought in our own birthday cake. They filled up a container with ice water for the soda. Our family went there for Mother's Day and ordered a 10 course meal. Yes you heard that right. 10 course. The staff tried to keep up with all the orders and customers but sadly they were short staffed due to the small venue and the holidays so we had to help them out a little, otherwise they were great. They have a lunch special that's hard to beat, bbq combination of 2 or 3 meats for less than most places. I went there because I saw someone mention online that roasted duck and supreme chicken was delicious at BBQ Garden ( Chinese Restaurant ) . The two of us arrived around 6:30 p.m. There was only one small table that was almost finished, while the other large table was still occupied. There is still a large table waiting for people. There are two waitresses and a waiter on the floor and the waiter who is responsible for chopping the roast duck and will also help serve the dishes. The two waitresses were not old but moved very slowly. One of the waitresses took a long time to brought tea and tableware and invite us to sit down. We ordered four items, but the dishes were served very slow. The waitress even placed a wrong order for one of the dishes. Roast duck is okay, but supreme chicken is not good and the house special spare with orange peel sauce is so terrible. The waitress working attitude is not serious, The environment is ordinary, and the taste is really not as good as it is said online. The experience of us was no good, no matter the food and the service. They showed me like that they don't care the customers if they don't know them . I'd give this place zero stars if I could. I came here at 6pm, and the place was dead. Their door slams shut, so they can definitely hear when someone enters. Not once was I acknowledged. The newly managed BBQ Garden is truly outstanding -- both the food and the service are first-class. Especially Sandy, who is such a capable and invaluable assistant to the owner. On the second day of Mother's Day, we brought them a king crab for processing, and they prepared it three ways: * the crab shell was made into stir-fried sticky rice, * the crab body was cooked with salt and pepper, * and the crab legs were steamed with garlic and vermicelli. Funny thing is, we were planning to pick up from Chef Kenny, a vegan restaurant that was here before it became BBQ Garden. So BBQ Garden is obviously not vegan at all. It is authentic classic Cantonese bbq. But all's well that ends well. We were disappointed Chef Kenny closed but we were not about to change our plans and delay dinner further. We decided to give BBQ Garden a shot when we saw it was packed with customers, with fresh bbq meats glistening in the back on display. Our disappointment that Kennys was gone was very short lived. Because BBQ Garden was amazing. We ordered crispy pork, bbq pork ie chasui, tofu, and kung pao chicken. I have had Cantonese bbq in Hong Kong, and that's as authentic as this food gets. BBQ Garden does it right. I've never had chasui as good as the ones I've had in Hong Kong but this was still very good. While I'm personally not a huge fan of crispy pork, I knew this was done well; the meat was the perfect cut and it was indeed crispy. Even though the name is for bbq, I love kung pao chicken and braised tofu, so we had to try it. My mom and I both loved the dishes. Everyone in the group, including those born and raised in Hong Kong loved everything we ordered. The biggest test will be if this place remains consistent. We wanted to eat roasted duck noodle and the place we usually go in LV was closed on Friday so we go to this restaurant instead. This is a fairly new Chinese restaurant in Korean plaza. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and we were seated right away as the restaurant was not busy. We ordered wonton noodle soup and roasted ducks noodle soup. It took them a while for the food to come out due to they were making food a two tables before us. The service was great. I liked their noodle however the soup was bland for my taste. Probably one of the worst BBQ place you can eat. $65 for 3 entrees is just absurd. The Chinese lady working at cash register couldn't understand English. Told me to point to the numbers of what I wanted instead. Waited about 15 mins for my order even tho there were only few people in there. The worst part is they tagged on bullsh1t fee in the bills. Mood- Second Guessing Tonight Authentic food was on the Mind. I did as I usually do and I researched. Now my hair wasn't as straight as it normally is but it had nothing to do with that. We were finally ushered to sit at a table. Menus were given. We waited about 25 mins for the order to be taken. People who came in after us were sat, their orders taken, and Complimentary hot tea was brought out to them. At minute 30 we asked about the hot Tea, the lady talked to a table across from us, pointed, and they all laughed at us. I should have left. No one deserves to be treated the way were. We opted for the Ice Tea, Pork Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Wonton Soup, and 3 meat Combination. The highlight was the Mongolian Beef. We waited 30-45 mins for all of the food to come out. The first entree was cold and lukewarm. When the Mongolian Beef came out it was hot food. The Ice Tea came out very last. During the course of this Second guessing my choice of Eatery, the second Lady who interacted with us had very distasteful comments towards us " You must be hungry, you need a fork ". Now that may sound not bad- however the tone, the look, the scowl it was in a humiliation factor. The table was not once checked on. As I said before several patrons who don't "look" like me were served, checked on, engaged with, even ordering more food, got their checks, and left before we could remotely try to finish what we had. Interior is a decent size. Several table and chair arrangements and booths. This place can def host larger parties with ease. Televisions were playing. I got the chance to catch up on my Black Pink gossip. Can't recommend or not. Pricing is typical for the new inflation part of life. What I can say is this. I'm not into ruining businesses, but that treatment we endured was atrocious. My money is the same as everyone else. I just wanted some good Authentic food. The guy that initially took his time to seat us asked if there was an issue regarding the 3 meat Combination plate as i set it at the end of the table basically untouched, I told him it was cold, he took it off my bill. A friend recommended this place to me. The owner of this restaurant used to own BBQ King and Chubby Boy. I have been to both BBQ King and Chubby Boy in the past before the owner sold them. If you know real Chinese restaurants in LV, you know these places serve real authentic Chinese food. Let me say, the food here is amazing! What can I say? This place was absolutely amazing. We literally stumbled among this place randomly looking for another place. Let me tell you. It was the best find yet. Service was absolutely over. The top. Servers were so nice and accommodating. Price point was fair and it was very casual and relaxed. this will now be my go to all you can eat Korean barbecue spot. I've only been to a few in town, but this one definitely was the best dumplings udon and all the meat choices were great. It's located at the far right corner side of Greenland Supermarket plaza, so there's plenty of public parking spaces. Forgot what used to be located here. BBQ Garden has traditional Chinese BBQ meat items, noodles, rice plates, and casual dinner meals. Service is slow as there is usually one server during lunch hours on weekdays. No lines and no huge crowds. Great takeout orders. Honestly, food is tasty good and generous in portions. They speak Cantonese & Mandarin Chinese languages. Chefs are experienced. Staffs may be still learning or new. We had plain wonton yellow noodles plus wonton flat noodles with BBQ duck. Delicious with lots of noodles. Shrimps were fully packed inside the wontons just the way we like it. They didn't have red vinegar, but black vinegar is ok too. Noodles had a few pieces of veggies in it. Looks decent, especially for cheap lunch happy hour special prices. What a bargain for noodle bowls around $11-$13 per order. Had a pot of hot jasmine tea with the meal. Nothing much stands out, but at least we know they have porridge and other rice plates available. Pay with cash to get cheaper total bill price. They do accept credit cards though. TLDR: just go, if you enjoy authentic wok hei filled Chinese food you won't regret it. - I went with my family of seven and there were plenty of tables. I was very skeptical because I thought I had already found the best Chinese food in town but was convinced to give this spot a try and we were not disappointed. Each dish was very well portioned probably by far the biggest I've seen these days. Everything was delicious. My favorite were the spare ribs with the sweet and slightly sour glaze. Very nice and friendly staff. The city is completely oversaturated with very average Chinese food but this one really hits close to home. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious too. Easy to find parking. The only thing I would say is that with these types of restaurants please do not expect the staff to be as welcoming as you would expect from other restaurants of different cuisines.
