Looking for a place to enjoy a family style feast? This restaurant offers all the classic Chinese sharing dishes alongside delicious Vietnamese options, making it easy to please everyone at the table. Their seafood is the highlight, especially the lobster, which is a must-order. It's my go-to spot whenever family is visiting.

Took a bit of time for them to take our order. However once the order was in, the dishes came out fast. We ordered a whole roast duck, salt and pepper pork chops, walnut shrimp, fried rice, hk style noodles and garlic green beans. The salt and pepper pork chops were our favorite. The noodles, rice and roast duck were solid. Im used to a different taste for walnuts shrimp but it was still good. The restaurant was decorate like a typical Chinese restaurant. Only thing missing was sliced fruits to end the meal!

I'm so happy we made the trip here when staying on the strip! The service was fantastic and the menu choices were plentiful. We decided on the house special shrimp and shaking beef. Both were delicious and well worth leaving the strip for am incredible dining experience.

I honestly wasn't very impressed the first time I visited because we ordered a couple dishes without getting their specialties and on this second visit I take it all back because the seafood dishes goes crazy, especially the lobster noodles! I'd recommend this spot as a place to celebrate and enjoy a seafood meal (their specialty) but make sure to call ahead or even plan ahead of time if you are trying to get lobster/crab dishes! Overall, the restaurant was a bit loud but that goes back to my recommendation above about the celebrating.

Family meal for $265 comes with a total of 9dishes, that can feed a party of 8 comfortably.

Capital Seafood definitely hits all the spots!!!! Their location is only 5mins from the strip in Chinatown Plaza. Once you walk in, it's Bright, Modern, and Clean with slight hints of Asian decadence. We were a party of 6, and the staff was very accommodating to everyone's preferences, from drinks to food, silverware or chopsticks, and even hot tea or water. Since we were all over the place with the menu, our waiter was very patient with our requests since we went with the Family Meal. It came with a total of 9 dishes, and he was very helpful with explaining each entree. We picked the Viet Hot&Sour Catfish Soup, French Beef Style Lo Loc, House Special Fried Crab, Salt&Pepper Pork Chops, House Special Lobster with Noodles, Stir Fried Green Beans, Fried Salt&Pepper Shrimp, Whole Fried Flounder Fish, Clams with Mint&Chili Sauce, and an Unlimited staple of freshly cooked rice. Service was impeccable, and every dish was delicious! Considering they been in this same location for 20 plus years, Capital Seafood is definitely doing everything right to keep up with all the newer trendy restaurants in this area. This is gonna be our staple every time we visit Vegas....

When our original brunch plans across the street didn't work out due to the long wait, we decided to walk over to Capital Seafood which honestly, it worked out for the best lol. It also happened to be a foodie spot I had saved from TikTok, so I was excited to finally check it off my list! Every dish we ordered was delicious, but the star of the show was definitely the house special lobster... yummm! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfect for sharing. Honestly, a happy accident that we'll gladly repeat next time we're in Vegas!

Great service with very friendly staff. We were immediately greeted and given complimentary hot tea Our food came out with minimal wait and I love that the food was warm and seemed freshly prepared. Family friendly restaurant with spacious tables. I appreciated that the tables had plenty of room. I hate with restaurants have tiny tables for two and we don't have enough room for the food. We really enjoyed the fried rice and salt & pepper shrimp I don't normally order seafood chow fun and might have just been missing the beef chow fun, so I wasn't totally into it. I'll have to try the beef chow fun on my next visit.

Excellent fresh and tasty food. Plenty to share. Love the fish with black bean and kung pao is savory and sweet! Great service. Friendly, attentive and good to see them working as a team. Sitting down after 730pm weekdays is much less crowded! PS - they happily gave me extra rice with my leftovers!

We love the house lobster! We try to go when in Vegas... The lobster is always fresh. They bring the live lobster to confirm it is sufficient before preparing. We also like the salt and pepper shrimp. Omg the shrimp were large and juicy!!! I don't always like larger shrimp because they aren't as flavorful. These shrimp were well prepared and delicious!!! I included menu pages - so you can see the options. Another table ordered pho- looked good too! We went between 11am and 3 pm so we were able to get the lunch price for the shrimp! SCORE- BONUS!

I honestly don't understand the high ratings for this place; it was incredibly misleading. If you are looking for authentic Chinese cuisine or fresh seafood, keep driving. We ordered several Chinese dishes, and the quality was a massive disappointment: * The Seafood: It was clearly not fresh. The "old" taste was unmistakable and ruined the meal. * The Fish: Both the fish in the soup and the steamed fish were obviously frozen and tasted really old. The texture was off and the flavor was poor--a far cry from the fresh standards you'd expect at a legitimate Chinese seafood spot. * The "Identity Crisis": This feels like a Pho shop moonlighting as a Chinese restaurant. Despite ordering traditional Chinese items, nothing felt authentic in preparation or taste. I'm super disappointed that I wasted a meal here based on the Yelp hype. Consider this your warning: do not come here for Chinese food. A quick tip for next time In Vegas, if you're looking for that "authentic" experience where the fish is actually fresh, you might want to look for spots in Chinatown (Spring Mountain Rd) that have the live tanks visible in the dining area. If they don't have the tanks, the "steamed fish" is almost always going to be a frozen disappointment. Don't believe TikTok, instagram, Facebook reviews. This place is ok, but not good. Also I stopped taking photos of the food because it wasn't really special.

No complaints. I was welcomed, not rushed when looking at the menu, food came out at a good time, fresh and hot. Tea & soup were also good. Clean & Quiet and they also offered me the lunch special which I had no idea they had, which made it even better. I'll be bac

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. We spent over $500 at this restaurant and were treated like we didn't exist. Not once did a single staff member come to our table voluntarily. No check-ins. No plate clearing. No napkin removal. Nothing. Our table sat covered in finished dishes for most of the night. I asked twice -- clearly and politely -- for the dirty plates to be removed. Both times the waiters nodded and walked away, only to completely ignore the request. Instead, they continued walking past our table, heading back to the kitchen laughing and talking, while we sat surrounded by a mess. What made the situation impossible to ignore was the obvious difference in treatment. Every couple of minutes, staff were at other tables providing attentive service -- clearing plates immediately, checking in, smiling, engaging. Meanwhile, we couldn't get basic service even after asking. The contrast was so consistent and so clear that it honestly felt discriminatory. After leaving, I looked at other reviews -- and I was shocked to see similar complaints about the same kind of treatment. That says a lot. As for the food, it was nowhere near worth the price. Bland, poorly prepared, and completely underwhelming for a $500 bill. High prices mean nothing when the service and quality are this low. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I will absolutely make sure people know about this place. No one should spend that kind of money to feel ignored and unwelcome.

    French style fried beef

Saw a video on IG which made us put this place on our list while in Vegas. We were seated right away and given complimentary hot tea. They brought cold wipes to clean our hands. We ordered the House Special lobster with noodles and the French style beef steak. They bring a whole lobster table side to you before cooking and tell you the weight to make sure you're ok with it. Our food came out in a timely manner and looked amazing! It was by far the best food we had that weekend. The garlic buttery flavors of the lobster and noodles with a hint of spice excited our palette. I don't eat red meat but the beef looked amazing as well. My husband said it was super tender, had great flavor on its own, but the lime and salt and pepper sauce was a great added treat. The menu is very large and had some many great options. We will definitely be making our way back here when in Vegas.

    Beef very tasty..

Our favorite dishes were the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Braised Sea Bass Clay Pot, Chili Fish Soup, and Green Beans. This is a cold appetizer which was fine, but did not have the depth of spice or aromatics that we were hoping for. Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. We had what I think was a decent amount for 5 people and paid over $200 without any of the more expensive menu items, only dumplings. For the price and what we got, I don't think it was worth the price tag. Alright, the foods. Pork soup dumplings, rainbow shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp shu mai, chicken shu mai, bbq pork bao buns, pork belly bao buns, the ducklings, crunch dragon wings, chicken satay, and the eel crispy rice. Everything was good, but the best of the bunch were the pork soup dumplings and the eel crispy rice. The pork soup dumplings came with a black vinegar "caviar" that complimented the flavors in the soup portion. The crispy eel rice had a great char on the eel and the rice was crispy without being overly crunchy. According to kid 3, the notable mention was the crunch dragon wings that had the "perfect spice and really crunchy skin." Oh, and kid 1 was not a fan of the ducklings, she realized that she's not a fan of 5-spice which these had an overpowering flavor of. Overall, great experience but for the price we paid vs what we got was not worth it. The lychee martini! That was sensational, if you're 21 and enjoy a sweeter cocktail, this one is for you!
