Can't visit LV without dropping by Asian BBQ & Noodle for some amazing and delicious whole roasted duck, two pounds of roasted pork belly, and four orders of curry fish balls (each order comes with 3 sticks, each stick comes with 3 fish balls). You read right. That is exactly what I ordered. I phoned in my order. Gentleman on the other line was cordial and nice. I had to wait an hour for my order to be ready because they ran out of roasted pork belly and had to make some more. It was all good. Plenty for me to do in the meantime. My order was still being prepared upon arrival. They gave us water while we waited. Thanks! Paid for my order in cash. Btw, they accept CASH ONLY. Lady staff who collected payment and gave us our food were pleasant and friendly. Thank you ladies! Roasted duck looked so good... skin was shiny and crispy, meat was tender, fat was delicious. My husband was craving roast duck and thought we'd try this place out since it's not too far from where we live. Ordering take-out was quite confusing when entered since the layout was more so restaurant style with an ala-cart in the middle area where the cashier was. We ordered a whole roast duck and choy sum. Comfortable seating easy casual like in Hong Kong. I haven't review this place for a while. Don't see much customers as how this place used to be a few years back and the pass 10 years. This is the place to go in Las Vegas to get amazing authentic Chinese food for a very reasonable price. It is definitely worth a drive off the strip. We got a half roasted duck, wonton noodle soup, and beef chow fun. Everything was delicious and came out quick. The service is nice and helpful. The place looks new and clean, with plenty of seating. To be honest, once we discovered the dish we loved... we have not ordered anything else lol. We've tried the crispy skin pork, chinese broccoli with sauce, combination crispy noodles, wonton noodles, and tomatoes and beef crispy noodles. All were meh or decent. The crispy pork was cold, so that was disappointing. We absolutely LOVE the tomatoes and beef crispy noodles. We go just for that now. We attempted to try it at other places too but nothing compares. I will never go back to this place ever again. Only if you're a masochist and love when people are rude and disrespectful to you would I ever recommend this place. I heard the food is supposed to be good, so even though the inside of the restaurant was dirty and had an underlying odor I still joined the waitlist and got a number. There were 2 groups ahead of us and they called their numbers multiple times but they did not show up. That is when they called our group's number. We go inside and sit down until the staff comes and tells us to get out, one of the other groups showed up. We were already seated and they wanted us to get up and leave because the tardy group finally showed up. Normally you would say oh you didn't show up when called so now you'll have to go to the back of the line or you're next up. Honestly I think the staff did this because they were racist and that group was Chinese and we weren't. So we got up and left. The food on other people's tables looked mediocre up close and we were not going to spend our money here. I know normally Asian restaurants' sweet spot is having really good food and mediocre/bad service but this place couldn't do anything right. The food in the food court at 99 ranch looks better than the food here and the service is severely lacking. Luckily the place we went to afterwards, Capital Seafood Restaurant in the Chinatown plaza, ended up being the highlight of our trip. Their salt and pepper shrimp was so good we went there twice and plan on eating there every time we go to Vegas. They purposely chose to seat the table who was late, mind you they said they missed their seating reservation and went to sit us. Went inside and waited for an open seat for 30 minutes, and as soon as one opens due to a party missing their call we were finally able to sit down. Right after sitting us down at a table the host comes by and tells us to get up and keep waiting because the first party finally showed up. I don't think I have ever been told by a host that just sat us down to get up and give the table up for another party that just arrived. In any other normal restaurant the party that missed the open table call should have had to wait back in line. Blatant disrespect and attitude towards us for no reason. My guess was that because the party that had missed their call was Chinese and we were Vietnamese they were given priority and respect over us. This place is nothing special and you can get food like this anywhere that is most likely better and cheaper.
