    BBQ platter #2

If you visit lake chelan in the summer, you HAVE to do bbq in the vineyard for dinner! This is located in the same building (but behind/outdoors) at lake chelan winery. There is a cute picnic area with tables near the vines where you order and can sit and eat. It fills up quickly and they only serve until they run out! The different bbq family dinner options are great... we fed 5 adults and 4 kids with a #2 plus an extra order of ribs. They have beer on tap in addition to lake chelan winery wines, plus a soda fountain. They also offer unlimited cornbread, which came in handy feeding a large group of people! The Mac and cheese is super delicious too.

What an incredible surprise this was! We loved the setting; how could you not? Eating world class BBQ amongst the vines at the Lake Chelan Winery. The team and service were great and the location can't be beat. If your in the area, don't miss this awesome experience! We had the Rack of Ribs, Teriyaki Chicken, Tri Tip Steak, macaroni and cheese, and (of course) a glass of wine. Every bite was excellent and well prepared.

The ribs were on point! Stopped in on Tuesday night with three friends. Tables far apart for social distancing and love how they have tables in the vineyard. Everyone loved their food although it was a tad pricy it was a experience that everyone liked. I ordered mac and cheese to go and the teriyaki chicken. That was great heated up next day. Friendly fast service much better experience when tables were all stacked on top of each other but I understand that this place has a really popular following for locals and tourists. I will be back !

The venue is gorgeous! Wonderful vineyard and areas to sit within it as well. Family owned and the service is very nice. Go early because the cornbread is unlimited and VERY good. They will run out;)

Hubby and I shared Mac and cheese and the quarter smoked chicken meal

We went here to celebrate my mother in laws 71st birthday. We started off be going through the gift shop which obviously had a lot of wine stuff in it and we were able to find her a birthday gift. Because if COVID19 we had to have 2 tables which was completely fine. We ordered our dinner and hubby and I decided to order two different things and share our food. We ordered the quarter chicken meal and the Mac & cheese. Temps were over 100 or close to 100. And it was nice sitting outside and with visual pleasing and well kept grounds It made for a nice evening. Dinner didn't take too long to come out. Hubby took the leg part of the chicken and gave me the rest and I split my Mac and cheese with him. The chicken tasted good, it was moist and you could taste the smoke flavor a little and it was good from what I can recall. My tip would be to bring yourself some wet wipes or baby wipes so you don't have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. The Mac and cheese was nothing special and could use more flavor IMO. Both hubby and I left still hungry and it was a little spendy in our opinions but it was a great atmosphere and my MIL had fun on her day!

I almost always ask what the server's favorite thing on the menu is, and our waitress didn't hesitate to share that her favorite was "hands down" the brisket French dip. She also shared that the fish tacos were out of this world and the pretzel would also be a good choice. Well, my daughter didn't have to be persuaded to order a pretzel, and my husband decided to get the brisket dip, and to round out the order, I figured I would try the fish tacos--and O.M.G. Soooo good! Let's just say it was a perfect marriage of fresh and flavorful! My husband and I had planned on sharing half and half, but we loved our own so much that we decided to finish what we started. The only thing we would caution you is that the dip is a little messy...it's made with chunks of brisket, not sliced, so it is a little tricky to keep it together--but delicious, nonetheless! Well also appreciated that there was a big screen with a football game on while we waited. It wasn't loud, but it was definitely lively! We would definitely visit again!

My wife and I came in earlier in the day for a tasting at the winery and smelled the amazing goodness of smoked meat in the air. They invited us to come back later for their "soft opening." Which would be fine, except their outdoor seating is extremely dirty and due to the amount of trees around, covered in pollen. So it almost felt like second class or a punishment. I slapped the chair cushion and it was like it had never been dusted before. Not that I expect the outdoor seating to be clean at all times, I would expect a higher end place like this that features wine on their menu to make an effort to keep things tidy for all guests. The food itself, was actually pretty good. The deep fried artichoke seriously missed the mark in seasoning and presentation (maybe have the sauce on the side to dip?) but the steak and short ribs were amazingly tasty. Great flavors. We also did a wine flight and the wines were very good as well. One of the glasses still had lipstick on it unfortunately. A couple of the glasses looked rushed to clean. It was replaced and all was well. But still.. attention to details here seems to be an issue. If you come here, make a reservation. Sit inside. Might have a better experience. Get the short ribs or steak and some wine and it will be a lovely experience.

Some great views out on the patio and the drive had my head getting whiplash from checking out all the farms and vineyards. The overall experience, and granted this is coming from a first time customer, it was a bit odd. You get an explanation from the host when you first arrive. Go find your own seat, which had us debating for far too long on where to sit. And then you order at the front and get your own drinks. Normally, at a place you order and then sit down at, not confusing. But it was here for some reason? Maybe the layout or it just wasn't expected. Made for an odd start to our meal. So, prepare yourselves. One big negative is their orange juice. It's Tree Top in a plastic bottle. And it tastes horrible. Rancid. MinuteMaid isn't any better. She set water out immediately and we ordered the home made coconut prawns (we saw someone eating as we entered). They did not disappoint...home made taste and yummy chili sauce. We then decided to share the cheeseburger with onion rings and a side of fries. She told us the burger came with special sauce (mix of catsup, mustard & plain mayo), lettuce & tomato. Unfortunately it only arrived with lettuce and tomato, so kind of dry. We got catsup on the side though to dip in. Onion rings were beer battered and extra crispy. My hubby loved. Unfortunately that's where the love stopped for us; burger was served dry, cheese not melted and bun was too much for the burger size. Fries were interesting, they are powdered in corn starch...they were just okay and a little heavy on salt.
