BBQ platter #2
Abbey O.

If you visit lake chelan in the summer, you HAVE to do bbq in the vineyard for dinner! This is located in the same building (but behind/outdoors) at lake chelan winery. There is a cute picnic area with tables near the vines where you order and can sit and eat. It fills up quickly and they only serve until they run out! The different bbq family dinner options are great... we fed 5 adults and 4 kids with a #2 plus an extra order of ribs. They have beer on tap in addition to lake chelan winery wines, plus a soda fountain. They also offer unlimited cornbread, which came in handy feeding a large group of people! The Mac and cheese is super delicious too.

BBQ in the vineyard!

What an incredible surprise this was! We loved the setting; how could you not? Eating world class BBQ amongst the vines at the Lake Chelan Winery. The team and service were great and the location can't be beat. If your in the area, don't miss this awesome experience! We had the Rack of Ribs, Teriyaki Chicken, Tri Tip Steak, macaroni and cheese, and (of course) a glass of wine. Every bite was excellent and well prepared.

The ribs were on point! Stopped in on Tuesday night with three friends. Tables far apart for social distancing and love how they have tables in the vineyard. Everyone loved their food although it was a tad pricy it was a experience that everyone liked. I ordered mac and cheese to go and the teriyaki chicken. That was great heated up next day. Friendly fast service much better experience when tables were all stacked on top of each other but I understand that this place has a really popular following for locals and tourists. I will be back !

The venue is gorgeous! Wonderful vineyard and areas to sit within it as well. Family owned and the service is very nice. Go early because the cornbread is unlimited and VERY good. They will run out;)

Hubby and I shared Mac and cheese and the quarter smoked chicken meal

We went here to celebrate my mother in laws 71st birthday. We started off be going through the gift shop which obviously had a lot of wine stuff in it and we were able to find her a birthday gift. Because if COVID19 we had to have 2 tables which was completely fine. We ordered our dinner and hubby and I decided to order two different things and share our food. We ordered the quarter chicken meal and the Mac & cheese. Temps were over 100 or close to 100. And it was nice sitting outside and with visual pleasing and well kept grounds It made for a nice evening. Dinner didn't take too long to come out. Hubby took the leg part of the chicken and gave me the rest and I split my Mac and cheese with him. The chicken tasted good, it was moist and you could taste the smoke flavor a little and it was good from what I can recall. My tip would be to bring yourself some wet wipes or baby wipes so you don't have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. The Mac and cheese was nothing special and could use more flavor IMO. Both hubby and I left still hungry and it was a little spendy in our opinions but it was a great atmosphere and my MIL had fun on her day!

BBQ was good, ribs fell off the bone! The Rose was amazing! Loved the setting. Kids could play while we relaxed.

Long time for service. Bacon under cooked, burger over cooked. Beautiful scenery. Winery is amazing, restaurant needs help.

My favorite drink was the applesox red cider so good and refreshing. My husband ordered the brisket and really enjoyed it, and the fries were truly amazing. You can tell they make their sauces in house, which made everything even better. There's street parking available, and the overall vibe is very chill, spacious, and welcoming. I almost always ask what the server's favorite thing on the menu is, and our waitress didn't hesitate to share that her favorite was "hands down" the brisket French dip. She also shared that the fish tacos were out of this world and the pretzel would also be a good choice. Well, my daughter didn't have to be persuaded to order a pretzel, and my husband decided to get the brisket dip, and to round out the order, I figured I would try the fish tacos--and O.M.G. Soooo good! Let's just say it was a perfect marriage of fresh and flavorful! My husband and I had planned on sharing half and half, but we loved our own so much that we decided to finish what we started. The only thing we would caution you is that the dip is a little messy...it's made with chunks of brisket, not sliced, so it is a little tricky to keep it together--but delicious, nonetheless! Well also appreciated that there was a big screen with a football game on while we waited. It wasn't loud, but it was definitely lively! We would definitely visit again!

My favorite is the exclusive red wine! The views are beautiful, and the atmosphere inside is so toasty, warm, and cozy it's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Rick was super kind, welcoming, and very informative, which made our visit even better. This winery is very kid and family friendly, the prices are great, and the tastings are always enjoyable. One of the best perks of being a member is getting free tastings anytime you visit, which makes stopping by even more worth it. I also really enjoy their raspberry cider. It wasn't on draft today, but they do feature it on draft during events so definitely come by when you get the chance! Overall, always a great experience.

My wife and I came in earlier in the day for a tasting at the winery and smelled the amazing goodness of smoked meat in the air. They invited us to come back later for their "soft opening." It was far from "soft" in terms of flavor. The pork ribs were tasty and tender. The owners were there as the wait staff refined their serving skills. What a great bunch of people! They joked with us and talked about the history of over 50 years of serving the community great eats and a tradition of fine wines. Looking for a family atmosphere of great food and drink that is built on tradition and legacy? Look no further than Lake Chelan Winery. Just follow the aroma of smoked goodness.

We waited in line for about 15 minutes before one of the workers let everyone know that one person should order while the other secures a table. I came with my mom and my boyfriend, so we made sure we all communicated what we wanted before I had my mom find us a table. Luckily, she was able to grab an outdoor seat with an amazing view of the blueberry farm. We waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. It was a little strange getting our pies before our breakfast, but it was fine since the breakfast came about 10 minutes later. We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious, but it was definitely on the heavier side. Between the gravy and everything else, we were feeling a serious food coma afterward. The desserts were interesting. We enjoyed the blueberry pie, but the texture of the banana cream pie was a little off for us. It almost felt like whipped butter. The blueberry juice was delicious! We would've bought some to take home, but the line was way too long and we didn't feel like waiting again. Overall, the food was good, but the process of finding a table and ordering seemed confusing for a lot of people behind us. I would totally come back again. I'd love to try blueberry picking next time! When we visited, it was $3.50 per pound.

Wait in a ridiculous line and pray you can even find a table. If you do manage to find a table, expect to be bumped, a lot. It's so incredibly cramped that you feel like you're being held hostage. The food is not worth the wait. It's incredibly mediocre, even by way of breakfast food which is incredibly difficult to mess up. Stale coffee, canned drinks, just nothing really special about the food in any way, shape, or form. The views are great. That's all I have to say in terms of the positive. Overall, this is not a place I will be giving my business to again, nor will any of my family, who are all Chelan County locals. We're not the only locals to avoid this place, either. The egregious waits and bland food we could deal with, but the business's online conduct and the way they choose to represent themselves have made this an absolute no-go.
