This is a one-data-point assessment. Bottom line up front: first time and last time. For starters, the food's ok. Pricey, but welcome to Lake Chelan. Summertime 6pm to 7pm, have mercy. They're simply not equipped for the demand. Parking can be stressful; parking space is at a premium. There is overflow, which needs to be better marked, also congested. If you're within a 1/2 mile, and remain confidently resolute in your convictions that you're going to have an awesome time there, consider walking. Hope it is a better experience for you, btw, and mad respect for those choosing to cast caution into the wind. This restaurant does not possess enough space, staff, or infrastructure for that evening surge in demand. It makes they're hosts not good at their jobs, as they're overwhelmed by the number of customers. You can see they're trying, but lacking resources. Very confused, lost track of who's going where. So, expect it'll take over an hour to get a seat at one of their picnic tables, as was our fortune. Many within our party purchased a bottle of wine and sat on the grass. Ergo, walking vs driving.... While waiting, we were blessed to listen to the Lake Boys, playing next door for a bachelorette party. Got seated, but not before some unnecessary drama and confusion as to which group goes to what section, a la Lord of the Flies, like some kabuki rendition of Ralph and Jack squaring off over the signal fire. Once seated, it was apparent that there wasn't a server assigned. Once we confronted one of the servers, Dylan, he seriously went the distance to cover our party along with his assigned section. Hands down, he provided solid customer service. So, parking's terrible. Food's alright. Wine's good, too. Recall you will PAY for both. Service, with one superb exception, not great. Not you, Dylan, you were awesome! Chatted briefly with the owner. Gave him an honest review consistent with this message. I'm sure he's a nice guy.... Came across like any other callous rich guy, used to having his way. Also, unnecessarily touchy. COVID's still a thing, dude. Next time, fast forward 10 years from now, the family will get some cuts from Manson Bay market and grill at the house. We arrived at 6:00, got our names on the list by 6:15, eventually got a table...and water....and drinks....and at 8:45 we were told our food would be another 30 minutes. The venue is part of the Chelan winery and we passed over the positive reviews as we were with our grandchildren. DON'T! It is a great place to take kids lots of room in the grass and vines to play leaving the adults to enjoy the food, amazing ribs, free serve yourself cornbread and their wines. Leave room for desert, split the full rack, big brownie with 2 scoops and chocolate sauce. Service was excellent and even included the waiter following us to take our picture in the vines I/O at the table. read more

Service is very slow. We were seated, then they forgot about us for 23 minutes only to be told by waiter "I didn't know you were my table." The waiter took our order and we waited another 31 minutes until the food started to show up. I got the BBQ Rib Sandwich. I give it a 5 out of 10. The BBQ itself was just OK. (BTW Franklin BBQ out of Austin is a 10 in comparison) The roll wasn't made from scratch it was just pulled from a bag, ripped open and the meat shoved in. If it had a little butter and toasted it would have been far better. No love, just shove it out feel. The caesar salad was stabbed in the back regarding taste. When you have to salt a salad a Roman assassination analog is the only choice for a review. The beans are from a can, nothing memorable. And the cole slaw was pre-made bulk food probably from Sysco. The restaurant needs to install fly traps. They have so many flies dive bombing you while you wait and eat you feel like you're starring in a lord of the flies sequel. (Flies are ass holes BTW) They tell us because we have a group of eight that there will be an 18% gratuity charge added which is bullshit considering how bad service was. But since they didn't charge us for our drinks we were OK with the markup. That said we will never come back. The whole experience was at best marginal. read more

Have to say as a"former wine club member" the experience I had yesterday sealed the deal and I will never be back! Went in to buy a case of stormy mountain red. Which is a great wine by the way, that being said I walked in and right to the counter. One woman was doing a wine tasting with a couple and so I knew she was engaged and busy. The other woman however had a guy drinking a glass of wine and BS'ing about sailing. I stood in line for 10 minutes!!! Made eye contact and not even an acknowledgement from this woman. So needless to say I know I only represent one case of wine and I'm sure they will survive. (Sarcasm). That being said I am extremely disappointed and with as many other wineries in the area if they can't teach basic customer acknowledgement then your future is clear. I'm out! Just go for their Ribs, wine, Burger, and cornbread. The ribs are delicious and totally worth the price! We were super dissapointed in their Bratwurst and also their Pulled BBQ Rib sandwich, they are not worth the price and I do not recommend them. Stick to the ribs and you'll be a happy camper lol. Their wine was delicious, my favorite was the Syrah. I ended up buying a bottle of that and also a bottle of their Pinot Noir. The location of the restaurant is super relaxing and beautiful. Service is slow here, so keep that in mind as well. All in all it wasn't the greatest but not the worst either. :) read more

We stopped in to Lake Chelan Winery earlier in the day for a wine tasting where we learned about their smoked bar-b-que. We returned later that early evening to an absolutely beautiful outdoor in the winery scenery where the ribs were smoked delicious. This place was delicious and fun! Family friendly, complimentary cornbread, great service (our waiter was funny and put up with our group)! My mom & I shared ribs - oh man they were fall off the bone, and so good! Best ribs I have had! The wine was delicious (Smokey Mtn White!) plus baked beans and coleslaw... perfect combo! Awesome venue, great vibe on a beautiful day. The ribs were fall off the bone good, and the free cornbread was really good. The wine was great, there was music, and plenty of space for kids to play. I wish I had room for dessset, the Caesar salad was good too. My only suggestion would be more side dishes like corn, potato salad or collard greens. They only had beans and coleslaw. Amazing place to visit in lake chelan. We have gone to the wine tasting and specialty cheese area but never the resturaunt before. The service was impeccable, the views were amazing and the food was even better. It was so much fun for the kids as well as the parents. Theres a hug grassed area for the kids to play in with hula hoops that the resturaunt supplies or soccer with little nets to use as goal posts. A true hidden gem and a must do for anyone looking for a low key, fun place to enjoy a dinner out. read more

Cute BBQ place and really good ribs !! I had the kabob and it was good not great but good - tender but expected more on flavor. The men had ribs and they said were one of the best tasting ribs they've had . Beans were sweet and rich and yummy. Coleslaw was light and crisp - not soggy nor too creamy. This is a fun spot to take friends and family in the summer. The setting is beautiful among the vines. You can smell the BBQ from a mile away. We are supporters and members of Lake Chelan Winery so its fun to come here once a summer or so. It isn't the type of BBQ I prefer most as the sauce is really sugary and sweet. The buns used for the BBQ sandwich aren't that interesting and I think there is an opportunity to make the food a bit more sophisticated for the price point. The free corn bread is tasty and we love how we can bring cider and wine to the table that we have purchased at LCW or the cider house.
