I came here on a Saturday afternoon with high expectations of delicious halal food but I left disappointed. This place is pretty much a hole in the wall with poor lighting and there were several flies buzzing around in the air. The service here was really slow, I ordered the mixed roll, zinger burger, garlic nann and Marsala fries. It took about 20 min for the food the be made and I was first in line. The zinger burger does taste like something you would get at Wendy's. The Marsala fries, while a huge portion does just taste like fries seasoned with old bay seasoning. The garlic naan is made fresh so it has a nice chew to it. However it feels pretty standard for a halal place. The mixed grill was pretty good tons of chicken with onions and peppers. The downside was that everything took so long that the food was cold by the time I got home. Also, my husband did not like the fact that we had to wait at a dingy dive for 20 min. I've been to this place multiple times and enjoy their food. I've possibly tried everything they have to offer on their menu and it's great food. Reason why I give this place one single star is due to their terrible service and their ignorance to their customers. They do not know how to greet you or further speak to you on the phone. They will literally treat you like if not you there's a line behind you, on to the next one. Extremely poor management. Long wait time to order, another long wait for the burger to arrive (wasn't worth the wait) and yet another wait just to PAY. I couldn't wait to get out of there at the end. Can't comment on the food itself as the wait time itself is enough to prevent me from ever going back. Never had an issue with the service, although our original order was the fried chicken and they didn't have any left. So we ordered the Chicken Makhni ($6.99) with tandoori roti ($1.00 each) and buttered naan ($1.00). Very flavorful and the portions are large enough that you can feed 4 people just ordering that. Place is generally kept clean, it's a hole in the wall and I don't mean that in a negative way. The naan is consistently the hot seller there and for good reason, it is delicious. I just had my first visit to this place which was recommended by a friend as we were in the area. We picked up a zinger burger and a beef nihari with naan. It's been a while since I had a decent nihari and I am already hooked. It's just a little oily. A little less oil and it would've been perfect! I took a bite of my friend's zinger burger and it was also really very good. I now know why it's so popular on their menu. Although I found it a bit salty. Truth be told ever since I've been eating healthy (not tonight however) I find restaurant food in general a bit over salty. The restaurant was pretty clean and the guy taking the order was very polite. Over all, I really liked the food and will be visiting their other location soon. Luckily this is a chain and there's one in Elmont which is very close to where I live. I'll be going there and try their other dishes. The zinger burger is ok but not worth the wait or attitude of the guy at the register. The ready made hot food in the trays are over rated and expensive. I ate there and the food took 40 minutes to get. The other day I ordered from the phone for 3 zinger burgers and I was told 30 minutes. I get there in 25 minutes to pay and get my food and I was told it will be 30 min. What the b/s??? I cancelled my order and left. What I should have done is left and let them make them so another person would have gotten there food sooner. The zinger is a simple sandwich and why 30 min? When they first opened this was my go to spot with my mother on the weekends but ever since they started picking up business their attitude has completely changed. The one regular guy/manager whatever he is who stands at the counter and answers phones to take orders is extremely cocky and rude. We have tried food from BBQ nite many times. It's always a hit or miss. This last order was blah. The chargha was dried and didn't have much taste. I don't truly understand the hype with the masala fries. They were dry and brittle. The chicken bihari was off. The cheeseburgers were not bad, but they did have a heavy taste of oil. The place is however usually crowded and people are in and out with orders so I'm sure it hits the spot for many. Their prices are competitive. There's a small area for you to sit and eat with family and friends. There's parking as well. I won't be going back for some time but if i do and anything changes, I'll update my review. read more

The staff is quite rude if you're not Pakistani; otherwise you're family. The food was alright, nothing too special. I can do a better job at home in 10 minutes. And they're very stingy with their sauces, won't give you a drop of sauce if you're taking out and make it seem like you're doing them a favor if they give you any sauce. read more
