David no showed to our first appointment for service. Then after I had to follow up we decided on a day that he was not booked to provide the service needed. He called one hour after he was supposed to arrive to our appointment and stated he was still stuck on a job. Mind you we booked on a day when he wasn't busy. Then he promised to check his calendar to show up the following day for service and text me back with options for the appointment. He never text me back with options even after I text him a reminder. I don't know how his service is but I do know that his ability to manager his calendar and follow up with clients is poor at the very best. read more

We needed to have some work done on our sub-zero refrigerator and after reading a couple of reviews from our neighborhood app, we called BBR Service to schedule an appointment. My call was on a Friday afternoon and I was surprised when David said he could be at our house at 1:00 on Saturday. He came, determined the issues with our frig, told us what parts needed to be replaced, that he would have them by Thursday, so we scheduled him for that afternoon. He sent me a text Thursday morning to let me know he could be at our house about an hour earlier if that was ok, which it was. He was very thorough in his work, all our issues were resolved and our sub zero is working like it should. David is very courteous, service and customer oriented and product knowledgeable; I highly recommend him. read more

David with BBR was fantastic!!! Honestly, he was one of the only repair companies I could get to even return my calls. He gave me an initial 2 hour window. I didn't want to take the whole day off of work and he agreed to call me 30 minutes prior to showing up. He exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!!!!!!! read more

David with BBR is so professional! I had a gas stove burner issue. My friend recommended BBR to me, after David successfully fixed her gas stove. After I left a voicemail on company phone, David called me back within an hour, and booked an appointment on the next day with 2 hour arrival window. David again called me half hour before his arrival time. Once I showed him the issue, he immediately had idea where may be the cause. He communicated with me the approaches he is going to take, and fixed the issue right away with minimum cost. He won my full trust with Kitchen appliance repair. We have a commercial fridge/freezer in our garage. The freezer went out and we were lucky enough to be referred to David with BBR. He was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. On the first visit, he was able to fix our freezer with the parts he stocked on his truck and his bill was extremely reasonable. I spoke with Osman over the phone on a Saturday evening and he diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator, which was it's circuit board. He showed up the next morning (Sunday) and replaced the board in 20 minutes. Great service at a fair price. Job well done. read more

Not too impressed, although the person Osman was cordial during the visit. BBR specified the incorrect motherboard part for my fridge. Caused more delays for me to get my fridge working and had to pay return shipping and restocking fee. Ended up calling LG and getting the right part. read more

girl friend was set up for a 3-7 pm window on a service call on 6-20 after being put off by another appliance location in Sanger, Tx. She took off work to make this. Around 6 was called to have to reschedule like taking off work was just an automatic thing. Basically a "no show" read more

At 3:52 PM, after receiving no call or update, I contacted Frigidaire because it had become clear that no one was going to show up. During that conversation, I was told Texas True Appliance Repair had called and texted me. The only communication I received was the original appointment confirmation text. There were no missed calls, voicemails, or additional messages. No service was performed, and my time was wasted waiting for an appointment that never occurred. I hope Electrolux and Frigidaire reevaluate their partnership with this service provider, as this experience fell well short of reasonable customer service expectations.

UPDATE Feb 2025: This time the very very old dryer started squeaking which is not a good sound. I…read morecalled and got repair setup for the next day. Problem was the internal belt and rollers had finally worn out. Which was repaired and now back in operation with squeaking gone. Posted new photos. UPDATE Nov 2024: Good news was calling on Fri morning and getting first available appointment on Mon morning for dishwasher not washing. news is 10 year old unit was done for. Tech looked over unit did several diagnose tests to determine the circuit board wasn't working and not telling pump to fill the water reservoir. Best to get a new one. Tech recommended several brands to get and ones to avoid. So off to BIG store to get one. This tech also offered advice on care and feeding of other kitchen appliances so Action doesn't have to be called. 1st review Oct 2024: Smart call on my part if I say so to get this company. We had a ten year old GE frig that leaked a small amount of water from time to time. My guess something was plugged up and needed cleaning. Shopped the internet looking for high rated appliance service company and found this company. Website is very informative and appealed to my sense I could count on them. I was not disappointed. Called Mon and got Wed PM appointment. Tech showed up 10 min early and immediately diagnosed the problem which affects all frigs given enough time. Frig goes through a freeze/cold cycle then thaws. The water has to go somewhere and drains in back to evaporate. But after 10 years ice had built up in lower portion and thawed water had no where to go except onto kitchen floor. See photo of tech steam blasting ice inside lower compartment. He also removed back panel so I could once a year clean out drain myself and vacuum out the dust bunny clogged the air intake. Fix should last should a very long time with yearly maintenance. Tech explained they could also repair/fix all your kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. He also suggested tips to keep those appliances working long before calling them. Often they are called to repair what the homeowner had tried to fix himself. What I saw being done to our frig IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING and have the right tools. This company is on my speed dial list for appliance repair...if needed. BTW: frig work comes with 90 labor guarantee today. Payment by check are credit card using app on phone. Steam cleaning ice built up in 10 yr old frig. It happens to all frigs after awhile

I was in…read moreneed of someone to fix our washing machine, but when I came across ED Services site and reviews I figured I would ask if they could look at my dryer and electric stove top too. I was so kindly greeted on the phone, clearly told what the price for a visit would be and an appointment was made same day. Washing Machine: Nick ran all the error codes on my washer to figure out what the problem was and discovered it was simply a leaky door seal. His honesty was refreshing. Dryer: I was worried the lint was incredibly backed up and needed to be cleared. Also our vent hose had come off and needed to be re-attached. Again, with quick precision Nick completely dis-asembled our dryer, vacuuming out the dust, dirt and debri that had collected inside. He washed and dried the drum and re-attached the hose. He cleaned the entire vent hose and inside of the dryer free from lint. Electric Stove Top: a year or so ago two of the burners stopped working. We figured with the stovetop being 25 years old it had just gotten old. Nick inspected the entire system and discovered the two burners had gone out because a short had occurred and burned up where the electric chord connects to the control panel. Because of the age of our stove top he said he and his office would try and track down a replacement control panel and once they did they would reach out to let us know. I was so impressed by the honesty and hard work ED Services offered. His patience and friendliness also put me at ease. We will absolutely be calling them out again for any other appliance issues, should they arise.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

Have used them a few times, they are very fair priced and do NOT try to take advantage of you. They will tell you the cheaper way to go, or let you know if it is worth fixing or not. A lot of companies will just charge you anyways knowing that they are ripping you off. This company is always on time and they always respond to text, (even on super bowl Sunday while out of town) , they still told us what to do to get us by until they could check it out the next day. Thank you David and son Osman for all of your help at our house and my mom's house also, we will definitely continue to use this company and will recommend to others also. read more

Jame was great in giving us the best option for us, for comfortability but also affordability. Never made it about him, but used his experience to give us some options what works best for our needs. His team he hired to install the unit were exceptional, as we were given an 8 hr window to complete install and they had it done in 4-5 hrs tops. He was great when we had questions, he was kind to answer them all, my wife being a bit anxious, he was patient to make her feel comfortable. Customer service was excellent ad we had some minor cleaning I couldn't attempt to do and he was kind enough on memorial day to make a trip to clear out some lines and water for us. Definitely recommend Jake and Best Neighbors, to anyone seeking an honest assessment for what they need and can afford.

I sent out a service request on Yelp for mounting two TVs. Several companies came back with quotes…read morequickly, but I chose Task King b/c of how responsive to my questions they were. It turns out that I was chatting with the owner Joe. He came out and installed my 47 & 65 inch TVs super fast. I was honestly impressed with how quickly he got the job done. He ran out to the store, mid-installation, to get a bracket for sound bar I wanted installed as well. Joe, and his company do all kinds of stuff around the house. I also had him to install the handles on all my cabinets b/c he offered a great price. Joe is extremely kind and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend and will absolutely be using him for future needs around the house. Thanks for everything!

Never showed up. No message. Then asked to reschedule. No answer. Said he would be here in an hour. Then let me know at 11am that he has to reschedule. He asks to reschedule at 4pm. Then shows up at 5pm. We then agreed on the estimate. Messaged him. Still hasn't answered me.

Bruce from Thomas Electric Service was one of the ones who contacted me he and offered a low quote which was very enticing. He scheduled me for Thursday at 8:30am which was 5 days later. During the 5 days I asked him to confirm our appointment because I needed to take time off from work. He never confirmed the appointment but just said he will be there. Here I was waiting for this guy to show up. Again, no communication. I messaged him 10 minutes before the scheduled time and he replies he is still planning to come but he is out of town until noon. He said a tree came down somewhere last night and it was an emergency. I would have understood if he had messaged me last night or even early this morning but not informing your client for scheduled appointment delays is a bad business motive. Now I have to find another electrician and now my project will be delayed. Bruce needs to understand that he is not the only person who is busy and has emergencies. I would not recommend Bruce and Thomas's electric company. As you can see from the pictures, Bruce never asked for my phone number nor did I ever provide him my phone number. For him to say thay he tried calling me 3 times explains how he runs his business.
