The only questions staff are permitted to ask are: 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Policies rooted in misinformation create unnecessary humiliation and barriers for disabled individuals who already face enough challenges in public spaces. Businesses should take the time to properly educate their staff on ADA laws instead of enforcing requirements that simply do not exist.
