I love coming here to get my nails done. Why? Because after they massage my legs, they do a hot stone massage on our feet. That's why! Also, the girls are pretty skilled there and I have been here quite a few times and I really like how precise they are. They are not always busy which is nice. They usually take me in the exact time that I request for an appointment. Why I gave 4 stars? Because my last experience was just not acceptable. I guess this is a unique situation but the service was pretty horrible. I went there the day before July 4th and yes of course I expected it to be really busy. It was insane busy and the manager ended up doing my nails for pink and white tips. I told him I was on my lunch break and he said he would be done in 30 minutes and would make it quick. Half the time he was taking phone calls, sitting people in their seats, and not giving much attention to my nails. After an hour and 15 minutes, I walked out of there feeling a little annoyed because I took more than an hour lunch break lol, and that it took more than the 30 minutes he promised me AND I have to admit my nails were not even 100% done. He said I was done, but there was acrylic powder and things everywhere on my nails. Felt like a mickey mouse job. BUT every other time that I have been there, they were amazing! read more

I've been here many times and mostly just come for convenience, because it's closest to my home. I've had simply 'okay' experiences but today was just awful. My cousin is visiting from across the country & we wanted to do a girls day. I literally just finished doing her manicure FOR HER. The technician messed up her nails pretty badly, they are crooked and very unclean/not polished and definitely not completed. My cousin tried to clarify and spoke up about the mistakes four times before I said something too, because she was bluntly being ignored. Then the tech offered to not charge her if she walked away- unfinished and with crooked nails. Otherwise it would be full price. How does that make sense? After that, the tech walked away and I just had to put the gel and heat my cousin's nails myself. Needless to say, I definitely won't bring anyone else here. I personally don't think it gets any ruder than someone purposely ignoring you or pretending they don't understand you when they do. Just a terrible way to treat customers. read more

I requested a pedicure, manicure & neck massage. I had to ask several times for the neck massage and they ended up just leaving me SITTING THERE, no one coming around to finish, not even take the cotton out from between my toes, help put shoes on, or write up a payment ticket. I was so bummed to NOT get the neck massage that I really needed, but even more sad to be left looking around at all these working people wondering if ANYONE was coming back for me!!!! When the gal heard me asking about paying of course she jumped up to take my money and I told her "you just left me there" sorry, sorry, sorry but no real importance to the fact they ditched me and didn't finish. So they lost the $ for the massage and a customer. I'm not going to feel abandoned with cotton between my toes wondering what the heck happened while they work on other people. Finish with one person before you move on!!!!!!!!! I told her that was HORRIBLE SERVICE. I left feeling very very bummed out instead of relaxed. Also like to add that the lady who did my hands was very rough with the cuticles. She cut my pinky and then kept telling me "you have hangnail!!!" which I did not. If you are looking for waxing services, Thao is the BEST! I have never had my legs waxed before and was a little nervous. I chose this nail spa simply because it was most affordable for what I wanted. Thao made my experience wonderful. She was so friendly and helped to distract me from the waxing pain (which was tolerable). I highly recommend her! read more

This place is horrible! I've had my nails done here several times by one lady. She was decent, not great. I had to use a different girl the last time "Apple" was her name, she was terrible!!!! She cut INTO my toe, making me bleed! She claimed I had a hang nail - which I didn't and never have had. Not only that but, I got NAIL FUNGUS from that stupid girl not cleaning her tools!!!!! Nobody offered me anything, not even an apology! So the fact that I even considered trying again was only out desperation... I decided to try again with the lady I usually saw. I called ahead, made an appointment, then drove there, picked out a color and waited. I different girl came up and was going to start. I told the woman in charge (who I made the appointment with on the phone that I had an appointment but, was told "she had a walk in, sorry" Seriously! I put off writing this review for over a month. Sadly, it's that time. This place charges a premium. I was happy to pay a premium because up until the last time I was there, I had a decently good experiences, although, I have to be honest, it has been on a steady decline. I came in for a gel mani and regular pedi and was told to sit. My feet were started on right away which was great, but somehow, somewhere, the message for my manicure got lost in the mail. Subsequently, three other customers came in and were also seated, and both their manis and pedis was started right away. I must have inquired about 10 times...hey, is someone going to come work on my hands, but got a bunch of responsibility shirking which really left a sour taste in my mouth. Finally, an hour later, some lady who I haven't met before came and started to work on my nails. She kept saying it's not her fault, as she proceeded to take off my bio gel nails, AND my nail bed with her little dremmell. I kept asking her to please be careful. I had a horrible experience once with a salon in SF - they took off my nail bed, left my nails so weak that I could literally fold it with my own fingers...but that's another story. (Mind you, those ladies that showed up after me are long gone by now.) Eyes wide, I kept watching her file off my nail beds, as she kept trying to make small talk which I wasn't interested in having. I was two hours in by now, gel nails taken off, nail beds dwindling and I had it. I didn't even have her put the new gel nails on. I said, no thank you, please just put some neutral polish on please and I'm going to leave. For some reason, the neutral color she chose was super pink - fine, I'll suck that up, but it was also lumpy and cakey, and her application was horrible. I couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough. I won't ever go back. It's expensive as hell - nearly $100 every time I come in, and this last visit was horrible. Horrible. Not for small or young children. My wife just came back with my three year old daughter. Both she and my mother in law have taken her there as well as other salons a few times for a girls day so she feels like a big girl. They always ask for a kids simple manicure and in the past depending on the store have been charged between $6 - $12. This time when she got to the register they wanted $25! When she told them what she had paid in the past and that it absolutely was not a full mani pedi (her words, not mine) she was rudely told that is what they charge and they rudely insisted she pay the full amount. They are never going back there. Seems this location has become too full of itself, service is deteriorating, and it looks to me something fishy is going on when the employees can arbitrarily decide they all of a sudden want to charge considerably more for a service that clearly did not justify the price. read more

I thought I had finally found a nail shop in the valley that cared about their customers...I was wrong. BCBC has no regard for appointments, nor consideration for regular customers or generous tips. I have given them more then enough opportunities to be professional and honor an appointment time. Additionally, when I entered as a "walk -in", and requested a manicure/ pedicure at the same time, I was told to pick a color and wait. No communication was made as to how long that wait would be and after sitting for 20 minutes my pedicure was started, 20 minutes later, I had to ask repeatedly for a manicure for someone to begrudgingly start my manicure. They also think that their own nail should be used as a tool to clean the polish off the side of clients fingers as they paint their nails. The employees think that the clients enjoy hearing them sing, chat with one another and crack their chewing gum while the owner Don, runs around ignoring his managerial duties. read more

Horrible service, first time going here and the girl who began to do my full set was so moody and I absolutely did not like the shape of my nails she was doing so when I politely told her if I could see the shape Bc I was noticing it was all cricket she got all mad and did not even stop to show me, she kept doing them so I told her I really don't like how they are looking she slammed her hand and began speaking in her language to someone else there. Then simply got up and said I don't see what wrong with them, got up began to do someone else's nails. And they soaked my acrylic and cut it off with clippers and told me I could see someone else. Worst place ever! I went in today for a pedicure and the lady who did my nails was terrible! She kept pressuring me into getting more than just the basic pedicure and I refused. After that she asked if I wanted a $10 massage add on.. Again I said no and when she went to massage my feet she literally spent about two minutes massaging me. While she was massaging me she was obviously bothered that I didn't spend a fortune on my pedicure so she was talking and shaking her head at me... It gets better.. she goes to put my sandals on and completely messed up my big toe.. Instead of redoing the nail she painted over it and made it look super clumpy. I told her I didn't like it and she goes the top coat will fix it.. Well it didn't look and better so I complained again. She then had all the other manicurists come check out my toe like if I was lying.. Then she walks away to another person ignores me and then takes her sweet time coming back to redo it! Very dissatisfied with my pedicure today. The nail technician didn't seem very confident with what she was doing (barely filed the nails or trimmed cuticles) and the polish on my toes is not smooth whatsoever. The polish was not thinned out correctly and it left it looking rigid, my toes also smudged hours later when it should have been dry. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. They seem like a nice idea, given every mani/pedi is in a spa chair and they use hot stones on your feet. However, their quality is really poor. My nails look like a 5 year old painted them, and no matter how many times I said to "be careful" with cuticle clippers since I bleed easily, they did not stop. I am only giving one star because i am unable to give any less. I spit in their direction every time i pass by since going there last week. I took my 9 yr old and her friend to that nasty shop. The "owner" was out and the "manager" was asked to accomodate 2 little girls side by side to have thier little nails painted fir Halloween. There were plenty of techs available to take other walk-ins as I repeatedly asked to please take care of my girls side by side. Even the manicurist that was painting my daughter's nails was (or pretended to be) apalled by the manager's rudeness. She pretended to not understand or hear my REPEATED request to please take care of both little clients at the same time. Even other clients noticed that I was becoming upset and EMBARASSED about how we were being treated. Go back to Vietnam or learn to conduct business with respect to your cliebts. AND YES THEY DO INSULT YOU IN VIETNAMESE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. They are disgusting!!!!! read more

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. I'm shocked it's even open. These ladies are incredibly rude and have no idea what they are doing. It's as if they just took them off the street and stuck them in here, no training what so ever. They don't cut the extra skin around your nails, and god forbid you ask them to cut in grown nails..,they will look at you like you are crazy. The manager does nothing and has no regard for customer service, or making sure the salon functions properly. They have a lot chairs, so they will seat you right away, but it takes at least 20 minutes for anyone to come and do your nails. Don't waste your money here. Edit: I came back to edit my review because I recently had a great manicure experience. She was patient and thorough and gave me the design I wanted. I'll be going back just for her! My mom and I made an appointment after work and were seated 10 minutes early with the manicurists & pedicurists she had requested. It was my first time at this location so I went with whoever was available. The pedicurists were very nice and gentle. My mom and I both get really dry skin in the summer and our feet tend to get callous-y especially since we're wearing sandals all the time. They were courteous about doing the callous removal and didn't push any extras too hard on us. My mom requested Tami and loves her. My mom is incredibly sensitive with her cuticles, has weak nails that break when cut too hastily, and even the tool that removes dead skin can make her bleed. We're not sure why, it's just the way its always been! Tami was really accommodating and made sure my mom was comfortable. My mom usually watches the manicurists' work to gently warn them if something might hurt but I barely saw her glance down at her nails, which I appreciated her taking care of my mom. My manicurist however was aggressive and harsh and even made my cuticles bleed. She didn't talk to me once but instead talked about me the entire time. It sounds bad, but when the people she's talking to are looking at you while responding, it's pretty obvious. I have immigrant parents so I understand that talking in a foreign language in front of english speakers can be weird and intimidating but it's pretty clear when someone is talking about you. Other than that particular manicurist, I had an okay experience. I'll probably come back next time to try someone else because of the convenience of the location, but in another circumstance, my manicurist would be enough for me to not come back. read more

DO NOT get an eyebrow wax here. I left with a 1 inch abrasion where my skin was ripped off between my eyebrows. Plus several smaller ones. The woman was very nice but possibly pressed way too hard before pulling off the wax paper. Very painful and I can see the skin will take some time to grow back. read more

When they first opened I would have given 3-4 stars but not anymore, the last 4 manicure/pedicures have been just o.k. but the biggest problem is they all seem burnt out! Very rude, they talk on their phone while working on you, speak amongst one another as if their customer does not exist! They prefer cash and get upset if you pay with a credit card! There was a gentleman running the place the other day and he was beyond rude. He came by as I was having a manicure , leaned on my table just watching, i gave him a stare to say, excuse me but you are invading my privacy and service!!!! I would like to reiterrate the (IF ONLY THEY HAD NEGATIVE STARS) I came in on my lunch hour for a pedicure and ended up there for an hour and a half. You would think that an hour and a half would result in an excellent pedicure... Dead wrong, my toenails themselves are crooked and jagged, the cuticles were not trimmed well at all, and the paint, ...WOW...., got a french pedicure, the white line is lumpy/wavy/ AND crooked quite a feat really. They always are willing to the designs on my acrylics and seem to enjoy doing it and helping me pick out colors to match my pics! they don't try to add a million things on and are very helpful. One negative is that they don't always cut your cuticles when putting the acrylics on and just tell you your cuticles are bad:/ but otherwise the price is worth it to go there read more

This is my first time writing a review but i couldn't refrain from reviewing this salon. Looks great, very clean and pricy but expensive is ok if you get what you pay for. So for what i got my mani and pedi should have cost a total of $20 max. They don't care about quality, only quantity! The owner who had to finish polishing my nails because he made the manicurist start on a different client. But even before she had to go to another client she was in such a hury from the minute she started that she pretty much didn't do anything but put nail polish on my toes and sort of filed my nails. Maybe others at the salon are better but i expected better overall service even if the manicurist was bad. Oh she was not at all into what she was doing, more into looking around every minute.They did not put my shoes on me or even take me to where you sit to dry your nails, they just did a bad job and left to work on another client since they needed to get in as many clients as possible. The funny thing is i had to wait 10minutes by the front desk for someone to pay attention and charge me for my service. I definitely look for quality in a nail salon and this one was awful read more

(IF ONLY THEY HAD NEGATIVE STARS) I came to the BCBC Nail Salon a while ago because my friend had recommended them for acrylic nails. We went together on a busy Saturday morning and we were sat immediately. While my friend was helped right away, I was sat waiting for someone for a good 20 minutes. After complaining, they had the man in charge of the phone come and do my nails. After gluing the wrong size tips on every single one of my nails, he stood up and left for 10 minutes in which he returned with the phone. Once he had brought the phone back over to the table, I swear there wasn't a minute in which he wasn't on the phone. After filing my nails to the point where they bled and taking every single possible shortcut known to man in putting what he called acrylic nails on as quick as possible, I left in utter disgust and ripped off the nails the second I left the salon. I will NEVER return here again for as long as I live, and I hope this review can save a few people from a horrific experience at this mediocre salon. read more

I have been coming to this nail spa for years. My regular nail technician is no longer there and I noticed a big change in this salon over the last few visits. First, it is filthy! Second, the customer service is poor. They greet you and tell you to pick your nail color, then leave you standing or sitting in a chair with no information about when someone will get to you. I had an appointment which I was on time for. They left me sitting with my feet in COLD water for 20 minutes and I tried to get someone's attention and they would look right at me and then walk the other way...I guess because I wasn't their client. But I had NO idea whose client I was because nobody every said anything or came back. I finally got my feet out of the water and as I was leaving a woman came over to tell me she was ready for me. TOO LATE! I will NEVER be back and would not recommend this place to anyone I know. I even tried the BCBC Nail Salon in Westlake and was not impressed. I think the owner may be too big for his britches in opening all these salons without properly training and managing his staff in cleanliness procedures and client care. What a shame! read more
