On the initial consultation he came out and did the most thorough inspection I had seen. Looking into every possible space for many hours and delivered us a quote that was itemized so we knew exactly what we were paying for. We payed for the rodent proofing with a warrenty and this was a great value. They were true to their word. It was a process of continually finding new entrypoints, closing them off, and identifying changes. We moved into a new house and we have ants. And potentially rats. But thank god for Eastside…read moreexterminators. Mike Coombes and Jacob Calvo have helped us on both fronts. Mike came over, assessed the situation with the ants (odorous house ants), and addressed them right away. Are they completely gone? No. Unfortunately we live at the bottom of a hill in an older home, and the ants have been here longer and outnumber us by a lot. What Mike has done though is make the inside of our home less and less appealing. He's also been incredibly responsive to our panicked messages about any increased ant activity, and after he's been here, the ants make themselves scarce. Jacob mapped out our entire house, identified potential entry points, and took detailed photos of what was happening in the crawlspace (maybe in too much detail, hahaha) and gave us a thorough review of options for next steps for addressing the four legged house guests we didn't want to continue supporting. And as far as I know we don't have rats anymore, but they've also installed monitoring so if the rats do make their way back into the crawlspace, I'm confident they'll take care of it immediately. As a family with two young kids and no relatives in the vaccinity, Eastside Exterminators have been instrumental in taking that cognitive load off our hands.

The initial assigned person promised how their bait and strategy is advanced and even have a entire village built to test the poison bait, DO NOT TRUST any of that. I paid $100/month not including several hundreds of dollars in the initial service, all they did is come and replace bait station, when asked to do more to put it under control, the only thing they did is to put snap trap inside the station, nothing more after that. they killed probably 6(visible ones) or so rodents through half year of service, i did that myself within a week with snap trap and poison. Then winter came, the rodent activity got worse, got like 8 rat holes and a collapsed stone tiles. And i told them i saw a rat peaking outside the hole the other day, and the onsite dude told me it could be anything, and if i don't take a picture of it, they wouldn't trust what i said. i mean i subscribed them for the exact service and there are holes all over a corner of my fence, do i look like i subscribed and paid $100/month for fun? Most of all, this is no way to talk to a customer, it takes years to build a trust, and only 1 second to destroy. I was willing to give them 1-2 month to give them one more try, but the dude just told me i should cancel it which i did. and the dude ended up taking away all my bait stations, including ones i owned myself, i thought i paid hundred of dollars in the initial service to get those bait station and baits and $100 per month for those. This is a company that you pay money to them for a service, and they spend more time telling you what you need to do than do it them.

Tom the Salesman was excellent and so was Ricky and the 6 man team that completed all of the work. They thoroughly cleaned up the giant mess and hauled it all away for disposal. The entry points were tightly sealed up and the whole job was sprayed and sanitized. The repair work was documented and the Insulation was compliant and installed properly. We had almost 30-40 carpenter ants coming into the house each day and the products from the hardware store did not work. I was surprised to see Ulises offer the exterminating service with multiple follow up visits included and no payment until the ants were exterminated, true risk free guarantee. Other pest control services required payment up front and payment for follow up visits. Ulises was very professional and informative, explaining our situation with the surrounding wooden material/habitat and flat roof structure as it could've taken up to 8 weeks until completion. The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.
