Showed us their reviews on Google. I was an idiot, and signed up. It's a $199 cancellation fee. $156 per service, quarterly. 12months requirement before you can cancel without incurring the fee. Had a horrible infestation with ants for nearly a year. Axiom has been so successful in decreasing our ant infestations that i decreased frequency to quarterly about 6 months ago. However, started seeing more ants, so increasing back to every other month. I grew up in this neighborhood, and we never had ant problems, but with increasingly warmer winters, they continue to spawn and build nests EVERYWHERE throughout the year. Having pest control come regularly really does make a difference. This time, the pest controller was Devon. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. Took off shoes before entering house, which was appreciated. Understood our ant problem and made sure he addressed concerns. We made it very clear that our home was just serviced and we don't need your company today. The price started rapidly going down. His stories started changing to paying for school etc. At the point that he finally understood that we wouldn't be paying for anything today his mood shifted to impolite. Moving forward, I recommend that your sales people have documentation, business cards etc in preparation for securing future business. Maintain a pleasant attitude and understand that word of mouth is a powerful tool for better and worse, especially when unsolicited! I can't make you, but I urge you to read this before doing any business with Axiom. You've probably listened to their hour-long spiel if you're here, so what's another few minutes of your time to hear from someone on the other side? Since signing the contract to work with Axiom, it's been a nightmare. Their headquarters doesn't communicate well with their technicians, so neither party is aligned on what you signed up for. Every technician that has come to our house has been lazy. The first one didn't even do the bare minimum. She said she couldn't do the outside of our house because a fence was being built (fine), but then she didn't even do the bare minimum for the inside. She went around the house with a spray bottle and did NOTHING ELSE that we had agreed to in our contract for the inside. She said Axiom would call me to schedule another appointment. I never heard from Axiom and ended up having to call them to get service. We set a date to complete the inside treatment and do the outside treatment, and I stayed at home for the agreed upon window. The follow up technician who was scheduled was so overloaded that they never came. Additionally, they were scheduled for the wrong time anyway, a clerical error by Axiom. This technician said the office would call me to reschedule for that Friday. I never heard from Axiom. I called Axiom the following day because again, they never followed up. This was to reschedule the reschedule. Contrary to what the technician said, Friday was completely booked. For context, we were already a quarter of the year in since signing their contract and I was still trying to get Axiom to complete the FIRST JOB. After speaking with an account specialist, they scheduled a senior technician for Friday (because I tried to get out of our contract altogether). When the senior tech arrived, he told me he was only doing the inside of our house. I told him that the outside was supposed to be done too, because it was never treated. He said that he wasn't prepared with the materials he needed and I would have to, again, schedule another follow up appointment with Axiom, again! At that moment, I called the account specialist. After the account specialist spoke with the technician, he told me the outside would, in fact, get treated after all. I asked how this was possible since the technician didn't have the materials to do this. The account specialist told me that the tech actually DID have what he needed to do it and just LIED because he didn't want to do it! Just two days after, it's already time for us to start our quarterly appointments with Axiom since it took the company an absurd amount of time to complete the first treatment. We were hoping this will be good because a wasp nest is already forming on our garage. We even set up two wasp traps around the nest to try and get ahead of it. Well, a technician came by (we never saw them) to treat the outside of the house and never removed the wasp nest. I called Axiom to let them know we still had an active wasp nest at our house, that the technician missed. I also asked to speak to an account specialist again because I'm really done with this company. No account specialist was able to speak with me, so they scheduled another technician to come out and remove the nest and stated that an account specialist will call me back. It's been a day-and-a-half and I haven't heard from Axiom. Again, I called Axiom, again, around 4pm today and said I was still hoping to hear from an account specialist. The helpdesk wired me to the account specialists and no one answers. I left a message and no one called back. So now I'm writing this review. We have given Axiom chance, after chance, after chance. The customer service has been piss poor. The technical service has been very poor. I have spent so much time calling, rescheduling, waiting at home for technicians, etc. This isn't even worth it if it's free. If you cancel your contract early, you are penalized $300 even if Axiom is the one not fulfilling their side of the contract. This is insane. read more

This person has shown up at our house THREE TIMES already, pressuring us to sign up for their service. It's gotten beyond uncomfortable. They've turned to taunts and insults when we politely decline. This company is greenwashing customers. This company lied about that and lied about a product called Talstar P was safe to use with my ESA cats in the room and a google search says they should be out of the room when this non eco friendly pesticide is being used. If it kills bees it is not eco friendly. Deltadust main ingredient is Deltamethrin. Highly toxic to cats. I have to wait until Monday now to find out where they used this product because my eldest ESA cat who is 12 years old has asthma and has to use an inhaler twice a day. Deltamethrin affects the respiratory System of cats. I am not paying a dime to a company that lied to me, a disabled woman on SSI and put my ESA cat in danger!!!! Wyatt Brownell who I talked to on the phone lied to me all the way through. Promising me that all the stuff used would not be harmful towards my cats. Wyatt did not explain about the first time they come out is called a flush treatment. He explained that they would come this time for the $99 deal for the inside and the outside of the house and then they wouldn't have to come back again for another 90 days. I am on a strict budget of SSI disability I do not have the money to turn around next month and pay them another $159. I don't have a crawl space yet I was charged saying they treated that area. It also shows a snapshot of their website claiming that pesticides used are low risk on the Epa Listing when the ones used are listed as group 3 insecticides. Meaning the class of pesticide used was pyrethroids, not low risk. Straight from the website of the pesticide used indoors which is Talstar. Clearly States That pets should be removed from the room that is being treated. When I asked this of the so-called professional The response I got was no it's fine. Your cats can be in the same room; this is as harmless as salt water. This is the response I got back from a so-called professional which is a false statement AKA a lie. to be told that cobwebs were removed and crawl space areas when this house has no cloth space areas. I have no experience with the actual work Axiom provides, but today we had someone knock on our door FOUR times. When I finally answered the door on the fourth attempt, the canvasser/salesperson seemed apologetic and said he didn't realize anyone was home. Which, honestly, doesn't make any of this better. To be clear, this review is for Axiom, the company. My feedback has nothing to do with the young folks at my door (who are pressured into hitting numbers (aka sales) and forcing services upon residents so they can keep their jobs). I have over a decade of experience in the political canvassing space, so I understand the concept of hitting your numbers being directly correlated with keeping your employment. But when you put that already flawed concept into the hands of a for-profit entity it's exponentially worse. I had no issues with the salesperson; he was polite and professional and did a great job explaining the service that would be provided. I have dealt with two other pest control companies in the past, so this was my third company. I was impressed with their process and how it differed from the previous companies. The problem was with the actual service. I had signed up in May and they immediately scheduled my first service to take place within days. They appeared to do a thorough job however they did not show up for the 30 day follow up service appointment that was spelled out in the agreement. After 60 days they contacted me about doing the "every other month" service, but I informed them that they had actually missed the 30 day follow up service that was promised in the agreement and that I wished to cancel the service for failure to deliver per the agreement. The next day I discovered a hornet nest under the upper balcony on the back of the house that based on the large size of it, had to have been there since at least the time of the initial May service, so it was clearly missed and grew even larger of the next 60 days. They did cancel my service however they insisted on still charging me a cancelation fee. While they cut the cancelation fee in half, I reluctantly paid it just to be done with them. After going through three pest control companies over the past several years, I'm not sure any of them are actually worth the cost. read more

Deceptive sales practices used and I have reported this company to the TN State Attorney General. Please do not allow them to use their high pressure sales tactics on you. 1. The sales agent solicited in my community where there are clear " No solicitation" signs posted at the entrance of the community 2. The sales representative did NOT specifically tell me about my right to rescind my contract within 3 days and he also failed to tell me that by having them service your home the same day as signing your agreement locks you in their contract rates. What they don't realize is that there are laws to protect consumers from deceptive sales practices such as these. They told me that their contract overrides the TN State law which is incorrect. The law I'm specifically referring to is listed below. Cooling Off Rule under the "Tennessee Home Solicitation Sales Act of 1974 (Tenn. Code Ann. § 47-18-701 et seq.) Young guy rings our door bell at 630 tonight and goes thru his pitch on how they are doing pest control services for my neighbor, Tim, and another name. Told him nicely we're not interested, but he kept going on about how they are better then that other door-to-door pest control company Aptive Pest. Again, told him sorry we're not interested. But yet he still continues about how they can remove the spiders creating the webs in our eaves. 3rd time I said Listen, we are not interested, point to our NO SOLICITING sign right below the doorbell and tell him to stop. He finally gets it and turns to leave but not before saying something as he walks to his Segway. I asked him to repeat what he said and he just ignores me. Asked him again and he just kept walking.
