It's been difficult to find a nail salon in Los Angeles that provides all natural organic ingredients for manicures and pedicures. Yesterday, I took my partner here for her birthday per the suggestion of a friend. We were both delighted by the service and experience. The two women running the salon were masters at their craft coming from impressive backgrounds in the beauty care industry. The copper tub soak was a treat for my partner and I had one of the best manicures ever while She had the pedicure. Both technicians were wonderful to talk with and knowledgeable. This place is new and it's my favorite nail salon! It's nice to see a different kind of nail salon, not like the generic/basic/average nail salon, especially since there are so many around the Palisades. It's boutique style, extremely clean, not crammed with a bunch of chairs to get a lot of people in at one time, and very refreshing! I spoke with the owner Kat, and she's very knowledgeable about nails and beauty education. I had Camille do my nails and it was my first time getting gels. She was so thorough, took her time, and was very precise-I absolutely love my nails and have never seen them done so perfectly. The vibe and decor are lovely, but I have to say that the service is not. I have had 3 appointments and each has been problematic. At my first appointment my nail technician ran about 20 minutes late; however, someone started my pedicure while I was waiting, so I was inclined to let it go. At my second appointment, my nail tech was on time, but the other tech who had appointments was not, so I think 15 minutes of my appointment involved my nail tech making calls, explaining the need for clients to wait, and rescheduling those who couldn't wait. Today was my third (and last) appointment. When I arrived I was told my tech was -you guessed it - running late. After 20 minutes, I indicated that I might need to leave which was when I was told that the missing nail tech had not shown up for the appointment before mine and wasn't answering her phone. It might have been good to meet me know that she was AWOL when I first arrived so I didn't waste 20 minutes waiting for someone who was definitely not coming. I appreciate that running a business is challenging and that an owner/manager has only so much control over whether employees arrive to work. However, I am beyond frustrated and disappointed as I was not able to get a single appointment completed without an issue. I will say that my manicure and pedicures were good, but I don't relish the possibility of having appointments regularly take significantly longer than I'd planned for them to -- or for them to not happen at all. My time is important to me and I have really disliked leaving Be Rosy filled with irritation and the sense that my business wasnt important to them. read more

This is the nail salon I have been looking for. From the moment you walk in the door, there is a feeling of calm and peace. I have been there four times now and have not had one experience where someone was having a loud conversation on their cell phone sitting next to me. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming, and they are great at doing nails. My nails have been healthier in the past couple of months since I have been going there. They don't overcut cuticles, and they use natural products, including custom made scrubs and natural oils. I would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Cat did my nails for my wedding, and I could not have been happier. Originally we tried to make an appointment at the salon but Cat called me to let me know they were still closed but could come to us. And it was great! She brought all her supplies, wore a mask the whole time, and made us feel completely at ease - and we had fun! Cat was meticulous, fixing all the little flaws, and taking her time. I was there for a total of 3 hours for a regular polish mani/ pedi. Sarita did not massage my hands or feet at all which is unacceptable, especially being that this salon is way overpriced. My toe nail is also cut very crooked and she didn't clean underneath the nails either. It's very cute inside but not worth it at all. I was shocked at my experience here. read more

This is not your typical nail salon where you're being rushed in and out; from the owner to the staff to the bright yet tranquil decor, the environment exudes warmth and relaxation. The ladies here take their time with each customer and instantly make you feel like you're part of the family. I've had my nails done once by Dani and twice by Cat (the owner) and have been so pleased each time. I'm so happy this salon opened in Pacific Palisades. This is truly a luxurious experience, from the essential oils, to the clean beauty products, to the perfectly brewed cup of rose tea that was made for me. My daughter and I both had gel manicures that were perfectly done. I am sure it will last three weeks - plus they do nail art. There are no add-ons like massages and extra charges like for the gold dust that they applied to my nail tips. Everything was included in the given price. The manicurists take their time and do an outstanding job. When removing old gel, they are very careful not to damage the nail even if the process takes longer. The salon is peaceful and not overrun with people - a perfectly Zen experience on a quiet street. If I could give it six stars I would. read more
