A reliable go-to nail salon. No frills, but I have never had a poor result with my nails, nor have I ever had to wait for services. No appointments necessary, but there are steady customers all day every day. Weekend days are probably busy -- I do avoid those days. I routinely have regular or gel manicures and pedicures. Things seem clean. The foot baths are lined in single use plastic liners. Parking can be tricky. There is no designated lot. There is metered parking on the street, but it can be challenging to find. This is steps from the heart of Palisades Village, so it is very walkable if you must park a little further away. A perfect location for those who can walk from the Huntington or the alphabets. Technicians are eager to add on chair massage and in general I find they try to upsell. I politely decline. Generally speaking I've found most of the technicians are too strong with their massage! One one occasion I was actually quite sore for weeks after. Speak up if you do opt for a massage and it is too hard! I highly recommend "The Massage Place," the business right next door to Bellagio Nails for regular massage. I've only had excellent massages and price is very reasonable. I've had my nails done down the street at Lemon Spa for a decade and they've always been a 10/10. They were too busy today so I went to Bellagio across from Ralph's on Sunset. The lady cut the cuticle too short and my daughter was bleeding. It wasn't as deep as a laceration, but it bled for several minutes. I asked the manager to comp the visit and he started arguing with me and told other customers that I was trying to scam him!!! DO NOT EVER GO HERE AGAIN. The service is horrible! read more

They make me feel comfortable as a man in a nail salon. Women have kept this secret from me but now I KNOW. Headed there today to get my toenails done and some foot massage. The place is clean and often packed. I am finding some times are better than others. I tried the place across the street and they basically clipped my nails, took $10 from me and then kicked my butt out. Bellagio does a much better job. read more

I've gotten many manicaures before but i will NEVER go here again. They cut the cuticle too far and sliced my finger. When I asked to get my money back, the manager had an attitude and refused. I received a gift certificate for birthday to this mail salon from my friend and came here to redeem it. I called the phone number on the gift certificate and made an appt telling them that I had a gift certificate. At the end when I went to pay they claimed that they could not honor the gift certificate because they were under new ownership. Funny. Lovely ladies and a long term core of manicurist, which is nice. But gels do not last very long compared to other places I have frequented. They last about 2 weeks. Other places are 3-4 weeks. I go here because they are local to me, but I don't think they have the gel protocols down as some other places do. Or else why would they start to lift and crack before other salons? read more

Listen to the reviews and DO NOT GO HERE! I had read them and blew it off as just some typical whiny people on Yelp and went anyway as it was a convenient location [and how bad can something be if it's in the Palisades?] Let me just tell you though, both me and my sister had some of the worst mani-pedis I've ever seen. Truly laughable they're so bad. I'll attach just a quick photo which you can clearly see on the big toe they missed a square with the top coat and it's about to chip off! Are you kidding me? Can't even put on the top coat? Not to mention other nails are cracking (old polish?) for both of us. The dip manicure I paid for ended up being topped with gel and had to have my hands under the light because the lady said it'd be "better that way"... I didn't want gel for a reason! My sisters dip is a disaster. To make matters worse, they cut my sisters toe and it is now red an inflamed. So that's a whole other issue! Seriously, I could continue, but just save yourself the trouble and don't go here (or it'll be $80 down the drain). Awful. read more

Always love the salon from the bottom of my heart. All the technicians are professional and they always keep my fingernails looking their best. Honestly, my bad habit of biting my nails would never go away if I didn't come to Bellagio. Big thanks to Linh (Linda), Tina and others for lengthening my short nails, making them even stronger. The worst experience. I made and appointment at 2:00 pm had me waiting for 20 min and no one had even started the water for my pedicure. The whole staff would pass by and I was not being acknowledged. Another customer came in (different race than me) and was sat and started on right away. Two of their employees came to her right away and started servicing her immediately. I still waited another 5 min and nothing. I got up and let the person at the front desk know it was unacceptable and that I felt discriminated. He had nothing to say didn't apologize and let me walk out like nothing! BEWARE - APPOINTMENTS NOT HONORED I recently moved to the neighborhood and Bellagio was recommended to me by a few long time residents. The first time I made an appointment for a mani/pedi I was made to wait 35 minutes past my appointment time. There was no acknowledgement of the delay other than the repeated "please wait 5 min". By the time a technician was able to assist me I no longer had time to get a pedicure and left the salon with a mediocre manicure. I decided to give them another chance and chalked up my bad experience to the post-covid salon craze. This time I made an appointment for myself and my daughter at the same time and I asked for a specific technician to ensure availability. We showed up exactly on time but once again there was no acknowledgement of our appointment, we were not greeted by the technician I had asked for by name and we were once again repeatedly told to pick out a color, sit and wait 5 minutes. This continued for 25 minutes at which point a woman who I had not booked my service with came to start my pedicure but there were no technicians available to help my daughter. When I repeatedly pressed employees on why appointments are not honored I was told that they never turn away walk-ins (which essentially makes the effort of making an appointment pointless). Instead of being apologetic I was met with empty stares and rude / indifferent behavior. As I was leaving i spoke with two other clients both inside and outside the salon who shared my exact frustration which confirmed that this salon not only sets up fictional appointments but also treats their customers horribly. Getting your nails done is one of the few times we all get to take a break and get pampered. The stress of going to this salon is just not worth it. There are many other great nail salons in the Village that I am looking forward to try and I am fairly confident that they will be more appreciative of my business than Bellagio!! It's always so hit or miss here. Today I asked if they had chrome powder and was given sparkle polish. The nails are nothing like what I asked for. I also asked that they not take any length off my nails, and she filed them way down. The polish looks really bad and uneven at the base of the nails. I love this salon. It is always clean and so professionally run. It is a bit further drive for me than some others but from now on, I will always just make that drive. I always get gel, massage and pedicure! They are very according for walk in and so sweet. The other customers are also really nice and respectful. They do follow the mask mandate, thank goodness and have all the safety protocols so you can feel comfortable. Please support them if you can - you won't regret it. read more

A very disgusting establishment. I had a pedicure and got athletes foot because of how dirty this place is. I have never had this condition until I had hit moldy towels on my feet here. The owner is disgusting as she took the implements my technician was using and cleaned her toenails in the middle of the floor picking at her toe jam. They treat their employees like slaves who don't speak English and carpool to work because they can't afford any other way to get there. They refill name brand polished with junk that smells so bad, you reek of chemicals. The prices aren't posted, so they upcharge you any chance they get. If they make a mistake in the service, they don't correct it. I am reporting this business to the health department and the BBB. Beware of a horrible nail salon that is Bellagio! read more

I called about a gel mani and reg pedicure and was told the price was $55. After completion of the service, I was charged $65. Moreover, the gel manicure (which ended up costing $42) is one of the messiest I have ever gotten . Would not go back due to quality and price change. Not worth the price. read more

I have been going to Bellagio for years to have my nails done, and have been highly satisfied. Last week, when I went in to get my nails done, the woman working two chairs over giving a pedicure had her mask below her chin. I asked if they had a masking policy, which prompted another staff member to say something to her (not in English, so I don't know what was said). At first she did nothing, but after she was spoken to a second time, she slowly raised her mask --- below her nose. I left immediately. I was very surprised and disappointed that the staff are not complying with indoor masking. read more

I have gotten my nails done 3 times at this salon (SNS). The first two were decent in terms of how long the SNS lasted. The first time there was ZERO seating for manicures so I had to sit and get my nails done in a massage chair. The second time I was able to sit at a counter and my nails lasted a month! When I went to get them redone because they were getting too long. This most recent time I had to sit in the massage chair again, the lady doing my nails used the e-filer too long on my nail bed and friction burned me TWICE. 2 days after my nails were done two of them already chipped. I went back to get them redone. 3 days later 3 were chipped. A week in and all but 3 of my nails have chipped SNS. Like CHIPPED. half way down the nail bed, some are cracked. All I did was was dishes twice. This should not have happened. I question the quality of their products. read more

Decor is very pretty and relaxing and they have a nice upstairs suite with good window ventilation to enjoy the beautiful palisades weather. There is abundant staff and there was no wait. My French tip gel manicure is beautiful and she took her time to make sure it was perfect and symmetrical. They even have gloves for your hands for the UV light (which is something I always worried about)! The previous reports of trying to up sell a lot of stuff is true, but I didn't find them pushy about it at all! I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're already in the palisades. read more

My nails turned out fine. It's more bothersome that I asked for the top of my nail not to be filed... and the tech proceeded to do it anyway. At that point I had to give in and just let it happen. I'm sure it was more of a language barrier, but if she didn't understand me she should have asked someone for help to translate. Then I kept being interrupted from relaxing (ear buds in) to be asked if I wanted any add-ons like callus remover or a message. Declining once wasn't good enough - we had to go through this several times. Again I understand it's her job to up sell, but reading body language is important. I recently went in for a manicure and they had a limited number of colors for dipping powder. After I decided not to get my nails done, they still charged me full price for a manicure without any color or service. The staff was very rude and greedy. I am very unhappy with their attitude and misinformation. I also called earlier to check the price for gel and they raised the price $15 more when I arrived. I do not recommend this salon. read more

This place seems to be catered towards middle aged or older women. The special seems to be a manicure or gel with massage. I apparently am not part of the cool club while getting acrylics, so no there was no massage for me :( This was fairly upsetting only because everyone around me was getting a massage as part of their nails treatment, and I wasn't. Someone said they offer water, I wasn't offered anything. *shrug* The layout is odd - there aren't tables for getting nails done. They do everything in the chair. My fill took twice as long as usual because of this. To top it off, there are no fans or drying areas, so on top of it taking a very long time to get the service, I then had to spend a lot of extra time drying. The result is having to spend close to 2 1/2 hours to get an acrylic fill. This should take around 1 hour. Don't come here if you don't have time to kill. Also, creative requests for nail art don't go over well here. Most places I've been gave examples of art designs. When asked about this I was told to find something on my own and they would try to do it. The only tech that was trained in acrylics wasn't able to do anything fancy. The staff was nice enough, but I wish they'd been more honest about what they could/couldn't do. I left disappointed, with my fingers still having polish from my previous job not fully removed from my fingers, and low on time to complete errands afterwards. read more

Usually this is a nail place I like going to but I will not be back after this last visit. Pros: Clean salon that uses fresh tools each time that are sealed and uses plastic linings in foot baths. They offer you a water bottle while you're there. They have a flat screen tv. Cons: I went there to get a mani and pedi. They seat you right away even though no girl will be available for a long time instead of telling you to come back in 20 mins. Sat me down and took 15-20 mins for someone to get started on the mani and by the time she was finished no one had started on the pedi which means it had been 40-45 mins since I sat down and I had to leave in 10 mins so I just had to leave without the pedi even thought they put me in the foot bath for all that time. They had a bunch of girls doing massages but no one to do a pedi. I told them that I was just going to have to skip it and they said no a girl was coming but after 10 mins still no one had started it. This place is pricey and not being told it's going to be a 50 min wait for a pedi is annoying. This has happened before but I ended up getting it done. It should not take over an hour to get both done and had I known I would've just sat at the nail bar and gotten a mani or come at a different time. read more

I have gone to Laura for my gel manicure for about 10 years, and it is always the best! My nails had always peeled before going to Laura, and now my Gel manicures last almost three weeks! My daughter has enjoyed Tina and Yvonne as well. These ladies commute from Garden Grove, work 6 days a week, and are always smiling and welcoming you, even at a late hour; although I never would go in past 6pm, because these hardworking ladies deserve to get home to their families. read more
