Every time I come to the hamptons, I HAVE to stop at beach bakery. They always have the freshest bake goods such as chocolate filled croissant, rainbow cookies, macaroons, coconut truffles, you name it. They also have a cake section. There is no better bakery on the East End than Simon's Beach Bakery. The jelly croissants, the chocolate mousse cups, the fruit tarts.....and the cakes!!! Everything is simply perfection. He has almond milk for your coffee, an extensive selection of teas and the staff are fantastic. Oh, and the pumpernickel bread, and the red velvet cupcakes... this place is a dream. And if you are fortunate enough to catch Simon on a day when he isn't too busy he is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. LOVE beach bakery. The freshest, most awesome Dutch baked goods I've found outside of Holland. Simon, the owner, opened up in the late 80's (I remember his opening day!). His approach is to train up-and-coming young bakers from Holland at the Bakery. Over the years his business has exploded because of its quality, reliability and service. I ordered Challah bread Saturday for 9am Sunday morning. When I arrived Sunday morning I was told they don't have my order because they only bake challah bread on Friday's. I asked why then did you take my order. The young lady that took my order was embarrassed and her supervisor's attitude was " too bad, what do you want me to do"". They could have at least called, my number was taken when I placed the order. Thank goodness for Stop n Shop. My guests did not go without their challah bread French toast. Not going back to the Beach Bakery any time soon. read more

This place is the greatest bakery I have ever been to. The counter staff is so nice and the pastries are out of this world. I love the atmosphere all the people are nice there they have clean bathrooms and tons of board games at the tables which is absolutely perfect if you want lunch and a game of chess. My favorite thing is either the raspberry croissants or the cinnamon rolls. They are both some of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Always fresh like they just came out of the oven. I love this place so much and I come here nearly every morning. Overall this place is so great and I recommend it to all people. Mothers fathers teens men women babies even grandparents. My family has been eating at the bakery for almost 20 years. We hired the bakery to cater my father's 80th birthday party this past Sunday at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. We had about 85 guests, so we were worried if the Bakery, under new ownership, could handle the job. Rashid and his team did not disappoint. The food was plentiful, tasty, and fresh. We did not run out of anything. As trays of fish and pasta would empty, they'd restock with a new hot tray immediately. I highly recommend them as caterers. read more

You must come here and eat a sugar covered jelly filled croissant. You must. Minus 1 star because in the middle of the day there were quite a few empty shelves. That just doesn't look good. The black and whites are good. As are the rainbow cookies. But dont worry about that other stuff. Get the jelly croissant. read more

2 stars is being generous. The bakery has great pastries and always (taste) fresh. I always enjoy a cup of coffee and a blueberry cheese danish. However after eating breakfast to stay for the first time I was extremely disappointed. My pancakes were cold and stale and tasted as if they were warmed up in the microwave. For $14 I expected more than the one triangle price of melon and cube of watermelon on the side. The frittata was not fresh and the bread was also stale. I understand accidents happen and I would understand if one of our meals was not to our liking, but all 3 of my friends meals were extremely tasteless, stale, and not fresh. To top it off, the inside where you pick up your food had a foul odor. I hate to write a bad review but I would like to prevent this from happening to others in the future. read more

The BB needs to create an organized ordering system!! It's so chaotic! The "LINE" actually forms at the coffee bar, NOT at the entrance, but you cannot ***know this*** unless a patron informs you of the fact, because you have cut in front of them, OR when the clerk asks "Can I help the next person", a half-dozen patrons from all areas of the store simultaneously pipe up "I'm Next" !! That being said, the pastries are mostly very fresh, except in the summer months. The bakery does huge volume in the summer...seems some items are prepared ahead and frozen, i.e. the croissants and eclair shells. The fillings are a bit skimpier during the season as well. Coffee is good. Please add a non-dairy choice of creamer aside from soy milk. read more

My friend and I got tuna melts and they were really bad and had no flavor. The workers didn't really know what they were doing and didn't give us fries or pickles anything it came with. Good hot coffee and pastries. Nice outdoor seating. I didn't care for their decaf iced coffee-- it tasted burnt. My husband and I also came here with our toddler one evening and shared a small bottle of wine and some guacamole which was tasty and a plentiful portion. So glad this place is kosher! read more

The bread are great, but the skinny elderly looking lady is very unpleasant & condescending. We asked if the raspberry croissant or the custard croissant was better, her reply was "the raspberry croissant has raspberry and the custard croissant have custard" and she even threw a tantrum when we decided to add more to our orders going "now i have to write everything down because there is more orders" in a sarcastic tone. read more

Beach Bakery is always my first stop when I come into town. Not only are all the baked goods equally wonderful but they truly have the BEST ice coffee anywhere. Maybe a little of it is it is good coffee after a long drive, but Simon's coffee with any of the wonderful pastries is a little bit of heaven and a great way to start my week. A fine stop after our seal beach walk, the pastries were good, but coffee and hot chocolate were meh. The cafe is large and has indoor and outdoor seating, a small fire place and a variety of magazines to peruse.
