Wow. Hadn't been here in QUITE a long time. It's undergone a giant expansion, from a small counter and a few tables, to much more space with many more tables. The menu is bigger, too. I remember a case filled with just bread, and I think that they did cakes and some desserts, too. Now there's many more desserts as well as bread. Alas, the only gluten-free item is coconut macaroons. Hopefully they will add some gluten-free items in the future. Coffee selection was great. You pay at the counter and pour your own. It was later in the day, so I did half decaf and half hazelnut. Yum! We didn't get any food, because we had already had lunch. Service was good. We just ordered coffee cups and I asked about gluten-free items. The man who answered did seem regretful. I'm guessing that he's been asked many times before. I have a wheat allergy, and other people have gluten sensitivity, so perhaps some day they'll expand their offerings. In the meantime, I'll keep baking my own protein cookies and flatbread. I've found commercial gluten-free bagels and English muffins, woohoo!

Beach Bakery in village of Westhampton Beach. More of a grab and go coffee tea baker with some food options. Not the same bakery quality. Hanging hands has impacted quality on baked items. Location and convenience are still there. The owner came out to help the line and ignored me and took the man behind me first. I said I'm on line and he ignored me. Insult to women? Never experienced that before. The weird guy I with a pony tale in from the city likely, didn't say pardon me. Seemed to want to be rung up first. Two weird guys. Glad I don't live in the 3rd world. Could you imagine? Out of there and back to our great Island where that's the exception. I asked why all the donuts were half sized. The owner said we'll find you the bigger ones. They all looked like minis but the concern is are they proofed? A woman working there kept insisting her husband has been the baker here for 30 years but the jelly and Boston creme donuts are half sized not proofed. I've seen this since t bakery was sold. They did admit there are two other bakers also. So yeah something changed and the head baker is somewhere but not in charge of some or any of the baking. Lol. We have eyes. Croissants are not layered and flakey and chocolate croissants look like frozen from a restaurant supply. Quality is fresh just not superior as it was. Still glad to have them open and to have a late night place to pick something up. Will come in but will venture into Southampton for Tate's. Old Ye Bakery or a French place that is rocking it.

    Coffee with grounds in it

One of the worst cups of coffee I've had recently. I could taste the grounds. Plus the screens you need to use to order are really inconvenient. It's a miss.

The first breakfast spot we hit while in the area. The bakery/restaurant was ok. The bakery portion looked amazing with lots of baked goods. We really liked the look of the bakery, it was quite large. We chose to eat in, so we ordered at the kiosk which is a bit confusing but we got it done. I ordered a stack of berry pancakes and my girlfriend ordered the Spinach frittata. I also ordered a 16oz. Latte which I only realized after I had my breakfast that I was only served a 12oz cup. My girlfriend ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice which was at about $6 a glass but they did not have any so she had to get a bottle of juice which I had to go back and get the difference in amount we paid for. We told the young lady who was taking care of us that we intended to dine in but we were served in to go containers, not a plate. The food was good but the service was lackluster. It almost felt like they preferred we would take our food and go. The place was really nice and we really wanted to enjoy it but unfortunately we left feeling a bit disappointed. I would suggest the staff take the time to welcome and take care of their customers to ensure they come back.

    $50 to go box

Me & my husband travel a distance to come here to get some raspberry croissants, it's the donut this bakery is known for. But we also like the pecan bars, Neapolitans & custard croissant's - they're ridiculously delicious too! The Jelly have the sugar topping & the custard has the powder sugar on top. We call it a "treat" coming here for obvious reason's but also it's expensive! bring your wallet they take credit cards too. The problem is don't have their prices listed anywhere!! so you really don't know how much your gonna spend unless your always asking how much is this or that.? It's always a surprise at the end but we usually end up spending $30-$50 a visit - it adds up quick. If your in the area give it a try the staff is friendly. Bring

The portions are HUGE and taste great nonetheless! Got late so missed their breakfast time but this is a great halal/kosher spot! Service was great and the ambiance was perfect just as you'd imagine for a cafe in the hamptons

A big thank you to our waiter Michael for his generous hospitality and for making my birthday lunch…read moreso special! Fauna was on our list of restaurants to try for a while and I'm so glad this was my decision. Hot and dirty martini to start b/c why not! So good. 10/10 Popovers one word. Get! Soft, warm, delicious buttery goodness! 10/10 Lobster bisque rich and creamy, I loved mine, my wife found hers to be a little too salty. 8/10 Almond crusted flounder, decent portion flavors blended nicely with the salad, tomatoes, and capers. 7/10 Green goddess Orecchiette very flavorful. Peas gave a good sweetness, pasta had a good lemony taste, the slow roasted ricotta had a strong sun-dried tomato flavor which paired well with the focaccia bread. 8/10 Expresso martini one of the best I have ever had. 10/10 Pecan chocolate cake for dessert, rich and decadent. 10/10 Highly recommend, and we both look forward to returning. The service from Michael was top notch!

What a terrible experience. We had eaten at Flora a few days earlier and had the most delicious…read morefood and excellent service. Well, we met the complete opposite arriving at Fauna. We only saw the waitress one time. After waiting 15 minutes, she arrived to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. The potato purée with truffle cream and leeks, which we requested to arrive first hadn't arrived after what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes so we got up from the table and apparently they made a mistake and it should've been brought to the table and when it did, it was cold or barely warm. We tried to find someone to get us to help us, but after five minutes gave up and decided to eat it. You couldn't taste any truffle and we ate it just because we were hungry, but it was extremely disappointing. There were hardly any leaks on it and they were overcooked. Next, there was confusion over our entrée which we were splitting and we wanted to come out and we again had to try to track someone down to explain to please send out the entrée. When it arrived, the fish had been pounded down thin and was covered in breading and so much oil that it was completely disgusting and inedible. Instead of a beautiful piece of juicy flounder, we got a dry, oily thin piece, which was mostly breading and really disgusting. It had no flavor. Green beans which they put a fancy name on to make it sound special while they were overcooked and tasteless and the sweet potatoes were watered down. The rum banana was overcooked and would have been better suited as a dessert. We then had to get up from the table again because we never found our waitress so we had to go to the hostess so we can retrieve our bill and left a very undeserving 15% tip. We managed to find someone else to bring us some containers to take on the food that we hadn't eaten and in the end, I don't know why we bothered because it went in the garbage. If you want terrible service and terrible food, then head on over to Fauna . If you want good service and good food walk a few feet and there you have Flora. Flora is a small intimate restaurant that is decorated beautifully had amazing service and cooks their food perfectly. They treat each customer as if they are their most special customer. We felt welcomed there and we felt like they went above and beyond to make us happy. It was such a different experience going to that. We are shocked the same owners owned both restaurants. Maybe they should try switching managers so Fauna can learn how to run things more like Flora. I have a feeling that Fauna makes most of their money on alcohol because you certainly don't wanna go there for the food or ambience. It's noisy and obnoxious. If you want a peaceful restaurant, that's beautiful and knows what their theme is then go on over to Flora. Fauna has lamps with deer, antlers and wood that is dark and uninviting and strange wallpaper with different animals on it in the bathroom and terrible smelling soap. Their menu is confusing as with their music, which was a mix of salsa and a type of music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. You really missed the mark Fauna.
