Dropped into this cute spot on main street to pickup a little feast before the beach. Lobster salad was absolutely delish, but it came to almost $80 a pound. I almost passed out at the register when we were rung up. Considering that lobster rolls will run you about $40 each on longuyland AND you're getting a lot more meat buying by the pound it does seem reasonable... but holy cannoli I am not doing that again. Poke Bowls were LARGE and a great value. Opted for a Tuna, Crab, Avocado, Lettuce mix (not iceberg, we're good folks!). Topped with a creamy dressing. Would have enjoyed it more if I didn't find a long blonde hair mixed in with the crab salad part. Siiigh. Would go back again, but perhaps ask a few more questions first. read more

Got lobster salad here got it twice in June. Made delicious lobster rolls! Price is so much less expensive than most places in the Hamptons. Price varies paid $58/lb one week $68/lb the next. Still great price! Small little place in Westhampton village near Goldbergs bagels. read more

My husband and I rode our bikes into town looking to have lunch. Had heard about Haskell's and we decided to give it a try. They have expanded the size of cafe and market to include inside seating, outdoor patio and street side tables. We chose to sit outside on street and do some people watching. Had a delicious mahi mahi sandwich. Came with a side salad. The menu had all locally sourced fish, lobsters, oysters, crabs and clams. LOCAL!! Really fresh and delicious! Food (5/5): Ordered the hot lobster roll, shrimp and lobster combo roll, crab dip, and calamari. We then added new England clam chowder and fish and chips. All of the dishes were amazing and delicious. I particularly liked the lobster and shrimp rolls. The shrimp roll was packed with meat and tasted so fresh and delicious. Service (5/5): Very friendly and helpful service. The server came up and had a friendly conversation with us. They got us water quickly and the food came out pretty fast. Additionally they checked up on us frequently and had a super positive without being overbearing attitude. Really top notch service. Ambiance (5/5): Chill ambiance where you can order from the desk and then sit outside in the patio. Very chill and relaxed ambiance. Only downside is there are mosquitoes because we were outside so perhaps if you're prone to that, bug spray would be helpful. read more

I was visiting my friend with my boyfriend and wanted to try something in west Hamptons. We discovered this hidden gem. This place is like a restaurant with patios in the back and a market where you can buy things on the go. It's a friendly local place so there aren't too much seating. We sat in the back and were very comfortable. We ordered a bunch of food and I think the prices are reasonable. We ordered lobster salad roll (hot), Lobster and shrimp combo roll (cold), Crab dip and melted cheddar over sourdough, New England chowder, Fish n chips, and fried calamari. The portions of the rolls are incredible! They packed a lot of seafood into the roll (very generous). However, I think the rolls could have a bit more butter. The appetizers were good. The fried calamari wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be but it's fresh. The crab dip was really good. The chowder and fish n chips were alright. I like how the chowder had so many clams in it and they added truffle oil into it. However, I like the chowder thicker and it was a bit runny for me. Fish n chip was fresh but I would like a little more seasoning. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the service was amazing. They made sure we all were comfortable and kept checking up on us. The best part of this place is that they catch everything fresh by themselves. We are planning to go back again! read more

Great restaurant with outstanding local seafood. Fresh, friendly atmosphere.... Heck, we were even met by the owner who recommended dishes and drinks. We had the blue claw crab cake sandwich with was outstanding, oysters in the half shell and crab dip/melted cheddar cheese over sourdough. All awesome. read more

My wife and daughter came to Haskell's twice for dinner without me and all they did was talk about how great it was. Well, I finally went tonight and I have to tell you that I completely agree with them. The food was amazing - it's like a real seafood joint. A perfect crisp of the fried fish - better than anywhere else I've ever had it. The service was great and they gave seating in the back, inside or out front. Definitely go check it out, you will end up agreeing with us about how good it is. read more

Mediocre at best. Don't be fooled by the 5-star reviews, not enough reviews to judge. We had several items: Manhattan clam chowder - watery and veggies not cooked through. Not a lot of taste. WOW! not sure why this place has so few reviews and photos but it definitely deserves more. i'm not quite sure the history of this cute little spot but i can tell you for sure i'll keep coming back (and so should you) i went for the first time 2 weeks ago on my birthday weekend. i was out with my boyfriend, sister and sisters boyfriend and we were about to go get bagels next door when i was a sign for oysters and clams and knew immediately our plans were changing. upon walking inside it's almost like a mini grocery, they have a couple of small fridges with grab and go items. not only does everything look incredible, but there are so many options of things to chose from. locally picked fresh heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and other veggies. they also have a house made New England clam chowder, fresh lobster salad, tuna salad, fluke salad, or even blue shell crab cakes and stuffed clams (and obviously so much more) behind the counter however is an adorable outdoor seating area where you can order from a full menu of delicious choices. we ordered 1/2 dozen clams and 1/2 dozen oysters which were so fresh and tasty, and followed it up by all ordering the same thing, the lobster roll! let's talk lobster roll. i've had plenty in my lifetime, all which have been good and this one was up there with one of the best. not only was the price reasonable but the amount of lobster they give you is a great portion and it's cooked perfectly. today i went back and bought some grab and go items. i figured, my weekend might be ending but how nice would it be to bring some of the Hamptons back home with me for mondays lunch. i bought 2 lobster salads, the heirloom tomatoes and the smoked bluefish dip. i am so excited to try these. the price was NOT cheap, my goodness I was taken aback when i heard how much it was but i know the food will be well worth it. if you're looking for a fresh, healthy, delicious bite to eat, this is definitely a place you should add to your list to spots to go. read more

The fresh Italian cuisine at Haskell's is fantastic!! I didn't know where this restaurant was until I got there but Google offered the suggestion and directions so we went . I was so surprised that I had been walking past this place every time I came to the charming little town in Westhampton Beach!! Upon arrival we were seated at a table in the back instead of in the front by the bar. The ambiance of Haskells was very pleasant and our friendly and funny waiter helped us through the menu and offered the specials of the day. As he said each item they sounded wonderful so we ordered the appetizers and our dinner. I had the Shrimp Fradiavolo. It was spectacular!! Just perfect...my sister, nephew and brother in law each chose a different item. According to them, their meals were delicious and satisfying as well.. There are many options to choose from here and we tried a lot between the four of us. Lots of sharing going on. Fish, chicken, steaks, pastas they have something for everyone! The wine was very good as suggested by our waiter. Full bar with wine list. Overall I thought this place was pretty terrific!! A little pricey but well worth a visit. Next time you're in Westhampton stop in and have a meal. Don't think what you want before you go, let them suggest. You won't be sorry!! I'm surprised I missed this gem! Go. Thank me later! This is the new jewel in the crown in Westhampton Beach. Really wonderfully fresh local seafood. You can get seafood to take home to cook, or you can get dishes that are already prepared. They are all fantastic! Loved everything we had there. I can't say enough about what a lovely addition this is to the town. Their lobster salad is so, so good, much better and one-third the price of the lobster salad at Sydneys. The ahi tuna burger is amazing. Staff are lovely, too. Can't wait to come back to our summer place next year so we can eat at Haskell's. read more

Why has no one reviewed this gem yet?? The fish is the absolute freshest & gorgeously cut and trimmed. It bothered me at first that everything was already packaged in one pound servings but every time I open those packages..the most beautiful tuna medallions, clean pristine sea bass fillets, tile fish, swordfish...the clams! oh the clams! Love that they only sell local wild caught fish. There are some pantry items, condiments, sauces, fresh lettuce clam shells, crackers etc. for sale There is a grab and go refrigerator case with fluke salad, calamari salad, smoked bluefish salad, corn & tomato salads. All home made, all delicious. A half dozen cooked menu items you can take either take home or eat in the sweet back garden. If that were not enough, they are also open until 9 PM the 5 days of the week they are open...you can actually stay on the beach all day and pick up dinner on the way home... We've stopped by several times for either a quick bite (lobster rolls and sandwiches) or to pick up seafood to cook later for dinner (scallops). There is a lovely outdoor seating area in the back, with picnic tables and lights, that is never crowded. Food is fresh and tasty and the people working there are always friendly. We have been buying seafood from Haskell's year round and they never disappoint. Everything we buy is extremely fresh and beautifully prepared. Some of our favorites have been the tuna burgers, sea bass and lobster (which they cooked and cracked for us). We've been living in Westhampton since the 80s, and I don't think we've ever been this excited about a seafood market. Thank you, Haskell's! read more
