    Lobster roll (hot)
    Regina Z.

I was visiting my friend with my boyfriend and wanted to try something in west Hamptons. We discovered this hidden gem. This place is like a restaurant with patios in the back and a market where you can buy things on the go. It's a friendly local place so there aren't too much seating. We sat in the back and were very comfortable. We ordered a bunch of food and I think the prices are reasonable. We ordered lobster salad roll (hot), Lobster and shrimp combo roll (cold), Crab dip and melted cheddar over sourdough, New England chowder, Fish n chips, and fried calamari. The portions of the rolls are incredible! They packed a lot of seafood into the roll (very generous). However, I think the rolls could have a bit more butter. The appetizers were good. The fried calamari wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be but it's fresh. The crab dip was really good. The chowder and fish n chips were alright. I like how the chowder had so many clams in it and they added truffle oil into it. However, I like the chowder thicker and it was a bit runny for me. Fish n chip was fresh but I would like a little more seasoning. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the service was amazing. They made sure we all were comfortable and kept checking up on us. The best part of this place is that they catch everything fresh by themselves. We are planning to go back again!

Speechless...Best service, ambiance and food in Westhampton beach. When in town stop in, you won't regret it. Dogs allowed in outside seating area and it's BYOB.

WOW! not sure why this place has so few reviews and photos but it definitely deserves more. i'm not quite sure the history of this cute little spot but i can tell you for sure i'll keep coming back (and so should you) i went for the first time 2 weeks ago on my birthday weekend. i was out with my boyfriend, sister and sisters boyfriend and we were about to go get bagels next door when i was a sign for oysters and clams and knew immediately our plans were changing. upon walking inside it's almost like a mini grocery, they have a couple of small fridges with grab and go items. not only does everything look incredible, but there are so many options of things to chose from. locally picked fresh heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and other veggies. they also have a house made New England clam chowder, fresh lobster salad, tuna salad, fluke salad, or even blue shell crab cakes and stuffed clams (and obviously so much more) behind the counter however is an adorable outdoor seating area where you can order from a full menu of delicious choices. we ordered 1/2 dozen clams and 1/2 dozen oysters which were so fresh and tasty, and followed it up by all ordering the same thing, the lobster roll! let's talk lobster roll. i've had plenty in my lifetime, all which have been good and this one was up there with one of the best. not only was the price reasonable but the amount of lobster they give you is a great portion and it's cooked perfectly. today i went back and bought some grab and go items. i figured, my weekend might be ending but how nice would it be to bring some of the Hamptons back home with me for mondays lunch. i bought 2 lobster salads, the heirloom tomatoes and the smoked bluefish dip. i am so excited to try these. the price was NOT cheap, my goodness I was taken aback when i heard how much it was but i know the food will be well worth it. if you're looking for a fresh, healthy, delicious bite to eat, this is definitely a place you should add to your list to spots to go.

There was a long white/blonde hair in my clam chowder. It was also very watery and tasteless.

It was good, but wished the clams would be larger. Good service though. You can tell this is a busy spot with local flavor.

The east end is a treasure trove of produce and seafood, and you can find a bit of many things in one place here on Saturdays, 9 -1. April through September Rain or Shine is their motto... Lots of cage free organic eggs, poultry, locally caught seafood, a few bakeries like Blue Duck and Sweet Andies cookies, fruit pies, various spices, sauces, honey makers, etc. Even in from "up island" are plants and flowers, further still in from Brooklyn, one vender brings in homemade ravioli ... all kinds from spinach, mushroom, to lobster, and amazing oversized chewy twisted seeded Italian bread, marinara sauce etc. Local grown, in season produce, like strawberries, asparagus etc. Back locally polka dot bakery will give you a fix of variousl flavored pound cake. The star of the show are the ladies at the front that bring in fresh seafood and have super fresh large sea scallops.. Yum!! broil those for something good next to your organic salad... I've been to various markets in Hicksville, Northport Village, and they can be kind of hit or miss and quirky to say the least. So when heading east, its only few minutes south of Montauk Hwy, a block off Main Street in the village. Easy to find.

They also had barley any fruit which I was bummed about. I'm from CT and prefer the farmers markets here TBH.

Still no actual bread that I could find, but the tortillas are wrap size! And not bad. BUT: their prices are much better than King Kullen, especially for produce. Which has seriously gone up. We all know why *rolls eyes* The produce selection is okay, not amazing. But they had everything I needed. One thing I do like about Lidl is the limited-time, well-priced specials. Especially cheese and sauces. They sometimes have very unique cheeses and other items. Currently, they have glow-in-the-dark Oreo cookies, Tate's pumpkin spice cookies, and pumpkin and caramel Oui yogurt. I can't eat the cookies, and the yogurt is fattening, but it was fun to see them. Lidl also sells odd assortments of ugly clothes and shoes, and occasionally useful housewares. I bought an emergency iron for $18! The box was open and damaged, but the iron works well. Service is mostly friendly. There don't seem to be many employees. The store is very bright, which is excellent for examining produce for spots, and they also have plants at much lower prices than King Kullen. I bought two African violets for $2.99 each! This store is farther away than King Kullen, but the savings on produce alone are worth the drive. I also got two jars of ricotta, red pepper, and pesto sauce. Never saw that combo before!

We were in the neighborhood after looking at a few local reviews and knew we had to give them a try. The Mr and I, with our baby in tow were pleasantly surprised with how fresh the menu items that we selected were. We started off splitting a Roasted Beet and Pear salad, not one wilted green, which isn't always the easiest to come by. The only miss for me was the ratio of beets to pear, where I had less peach pieces and flavor. All in all it was a delightfully, light, crisp salad with a good amount of beets. I moved forward to the Garlic Lime Shrimp entree and the Mr got my 2nd choice option, the Shrimp Tacos. Both were presented nicely where eating with you eyes is real. The tastbuds did follow soon after enjoying every bite. :) The shrimp within both entrees were the best we have had in sometime being big, juicy and full of flavor. After that since it was a holiday weekend we opted for some dessert too. Talk about sizable slices of Tuxedo and Peanut Butter ice cream pies, that literally you can share just one super easily. The Mr opted for the Tuxedo slice since he loves chocolate. I went for the Peanut Butter, which had the bonus of a Rice Krispies crust. Why have I never thought to do that while baking...definitely something to try. Both come out looking bigger than life and not melting in any way which was great. It was amazing to see it keep it's shape all the way through slowly eating it to the end. The waitress was super sweet and attentive to our requests. The only real thing that has me omiting a stars here is the fact for a small lot they had a valet, but worse than that the fact that there was no electricity in bathroom. Oddly no windows for light, or battery operated lanterns/fake candles for light. Had to break out the cell phone flash light function to maneuver around. Totally unacceptable ;( for that prop main door to stay open.
