Slow as can be. Terrible service. One scoop is $6 and you barely get a scoop. Come was empty. No customer service.

If you enjoy paying over 40 dollars for two breakfast items and two coffees and waiting over 30 minutes at a walk up counter for someone to forget bacon on a bacon egg and cheese, an entire avocado toast when you only order two things, and not have any condiments, this is the place for you. There is plenty of room in the parking lot to wait, while they figure out how to make your food. They at least refunded me when we walked back to our hotel to find only one of two sandwiches. Shame on me, for assuming they would get that part right. I tried this place twice in a few day span to give them the benefit of the doubt. Fool me twice- shame on me. read more

Open till 11 on their website and we arrived at 10 pm on a holiday weekend. The window was closed as the employee inside looked at us. After standing there for a few minutes, she opened the window to tell us that they were closed. We inquired about them being open until 11 pm their website, and they said "Boss said they could close early". Disappointing. read more

Fast counter service ice cream, iced coffees, açaí bowls and even hot food like lobster rolls. It is not the best ice cream I have ever had but it hits the spot after a long day at the beach. My only complaint is the there's no one really cleaning up the tables they have in the back and people left a mess! This has happened when we have gone before too. Cute little icecream/food stand that is right next to one of the best stores on the block. You walk up and order your icecream/food and they hand you a ticket to be called when ready. They ask that you do order with masks on for the new 2020 rules . The employees are super friendly and the menu is great. I saw they even have a lobster roll wish I knew that before I ate my lunch. We ordered cotton candy icecream with gummy bears and peanut butter icecream with peanut butter cups inside it in a sugar cone . The ice-cream is delicious and you can tell the quality . I ordered a black raspberry yogurt with chocolate chips and they didn't have chocolate chips but it comes with chocolate chips so I believe they just gave me icecream. Which I figured out about thirty minutes after leaving when I was walking on the beach and almost had an accident for I'm severely allergic to icecream. This place needs workers! We waited upwards of 25 minutes for 3 coffees with milk.... not to mention a large iced coffee is $5.40. So not cheap either. The coffee is good but when people are waiting this long and there wasn't even a line to order it's ridiculous I have no words for the service. read more

Wish there was an option for no stars. Didn't think it would be an issue to use a different spoon to put ice in a cup rather than one used in all types of ice cream. Great ice cream, iced coffee, and del's lemon ices! Lots of ice cream flavors, though they're constantly running out and don't keep the menu updated. They don't "do" samples (maybe because it's crowded during peak times), making it impossible to try some of the really neat flavors without committing. A mosquito would have polished this off in 2 seconds. worst off it was nine dollars which clocks in at 4.50 per bite. they didn't have bananas and they didn't put on the chocolate sauce or the peanut butter which was included when I ordered it. I spent a week at the beach this year and last and nothing changed here from last year . 20 minute wait for 2 bagels , kids working always on phones you literally have to yell hello for them to notice you in the window . Waited 5 minutes at the window waiting for service with no one in sight, I knocked on the window and a young girl popped up from sitting on a crate under the window with her phone in her hand . The ice cream is good however I got a vanilla milk shake which is 7$ and it was the most disgusting milkshake I've ever had. It tasted exactly like a breakfast essential. It was very watery and looked like only milk. The cashier was not very nice either. She was very blunt and did not know any of the flavors. She also had to keep asking my order and was talking to other employees about other things while taking my order. They need to learn proper customer service manners. This place has the best icecream on the beach along with the largest selection of flavors. Also has the best coffee down by the beach, they now also serve Nitro Cold Brew which is great for a day at the beach. A brand new espresso machine helps serves everyones drink needs. Many of the employees are brand new & training but getting better everyday. If you have a problem with anything all you have to do is ask for the manager. It will be taken care of immediately. As an employee of 4 years now I have to say Beach Bums only improves every year with a bigger selection & bigger crew, Giffords icecream is worldwide famous & sold here, you wont find any better. read more

Slightly off season but not by much...6/4/2020, their recent FB post says they're open 7-7 daily. We showed up with our one and three year old at 6:30 and it looked closed. Older lady appeared to be wrapping things up, we asked if they were open. The answer was no, credit card machine was down. We asked if we could just get a couple of scoops for the kids, we can pay cash. The answer was no. Our three year old was bawling, we left. There were three guys pouring concrete in front of the place, gave her a hard time, "just get them a scoop, the poor kids are crying." Nope. We will not be returning. read more

While at the creamery, the employees were not accommodating customers with allergies. Due to a tree nut allergy my friend and I have, we politely asked is we could get a clean ice cream scoop.
