While still in the drying area and before the car was released back to me, I noticed that a piece of rear trim beneath the taillight was missing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reported it immediately on site and submitted a formal claim with photo documentation and a repair estimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have now followed up three times over the past couple of weeks and have not received any acknowledgment or response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm hoping management will see this and respond so we can resolve this promptly. read more

I haven't been here for 3 years for a reason , I own 2 cars and have them cleaned weekly and I stopped coming here as they always try and up sell u .... I pull in explain quickly what I want then the guy runs his finger over my headlamp 2024 full size Range Rover and Begins to try to tell me about sap etc my car was parked for 2 weeks in my garage so zero sap ..... just a con man trying to con I shut him down in quick time , I walk into the bathroom and its still gross and not fixed as it has been for 7-8 years . I've been going here for almost a decade and at this point I think I'm better off leaving my car out during a rain storm than paying this place for whatever they are calling a "car wash" these days. Today they tried to upsell me to a $150 car detailing because of a little dust and standard bird droppings on the car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I let them know I only wanted a regular wash the guy had an attitude and proceeded to barely wash the car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I paid $30 with tip and the car was barely vacuumed, still had bird droppings all over it and streaks absolutely everywhere. Complete waste of money. I went home and spent 10 minutes with some Chemical Guys spray and the car looks good as new. Five minutes at a self-service car wash and a little bit of elbow grease is 20x better than whatever they're pretending to do at this place. Do not bother coming here. Will not be back. read more

With everything being so expensive and paying for one of their premium service I would've expected a bit more attention to detail. My windshield had a bunch of debris (leaves and twigs/sticks) right next to the windshield wiper. If I'm spending that kind of money, I'd expect them to take their time and actually do a thorough job--at least 30 minutes or something that reflects the price. What really pushed me over the edge was the interior cleaning. I had spilled a protein shake on the passenger carpet (yes, it was a decent spill, but it was just a drink- not mud, not something extreme). They charged me $79 just to clean that one area. I was shocked when I heard the price I told him is that to clean all of the carpets and he said no just one area and to clean all of the carpets would be close to 170 . I was fine paying it because I needed the smell gone . Except... it wasn't. My car still smells terrible, honestly worse than before they cleaned it. The protein shake smell is still very clearly there, and it's now mixed into this unpleasant, almost sour odor. For $79, I expected it to actually be cleaned, not barely touched let alone made worse. Overall, the pricing feels completely unreasonable for the quality and time spent. I understand prices are going up, but then the service needs to match and it just doesn't here. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. I visited this car wash and had a concerning incident involving a missing item from my vehicle. I had packages in my backseat that I planned to take directly to the post office after the wash. When I went to sign off on the car wash, I visually confirmed they were still there. I went and grabbed my things from the waiting area, tipped the person vacuuming the inside and went to the post office. When I arrived, one small envelope--containing a rare coin--was gone. We also looked through trash bins, but the item was not found.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I filed a claim on-site and followed up with an email the same dat, requesting that management review any available video footage from that morning. The quality of the detailing felt rushed and careless, with noticeable areas completely overlooked and others done inconsistently. Came here on 4/2 around 5:25pm and got the most basic car wash ($30). I keep dollar bills in my car for homeless men and before I came to the Venice location today I made sure to clean out my car/glovebox with any trash to avoid hassle for them. As I was leaving I went to get hand sanitizer out of my glovebox and noticed all of my dollar bills were gone. I sifted through to double check and when I noticed they were definitely gone [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went back and told them and they all laughed at me/ told me they did not touch the glovebox when very clearly they did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] PSA I am a 20 something girl and they definitely thought I wouldn't realize. Outdoor was is $500 while the Del Rey car wash down the street is $180 and they appreciate the business, helpful and nice. Car was damaged when their attendant drove over a cone slowly which was lodged under the car and stripped the paint off the bumper. All employees on site at the time acknowledged the damage and completed the incident report. Management who was not present at the time of the damage: "I've been in the business many years at many carwashes. I've seen the video. Never have I seen a plastic cone damage a vehicle at that rate of speed. Furthermore your bumper had preexisting damage. Your claim has been denied." Be warned, zero accountability here. read more

Less than a month ago I visited Beach Cities Car Wash on Lincoln and was extremely disappointed. Despite paying for a car wash, there was still sand left in my car. I was waiting for the day to come.. when it was a different guy working the vacuum area.. I asked for a regular car wash.. no problem $28. Ran through the car wash. The back story here is I have had my car for 3 years now. The first time i do recall going through the car wash. Every other time after that the other man working insisted my car can't fit, (mind you i have friends with taller cars go through the wash) and tells me i have to do a "HAND WASH." This man had been LYING TO ME for the last 3 years for the up charge. Paid $65 for what I thought was a full service wash that included the exterior and interior. Exterior wash was nicely done but the interior was a rip off. The interior guys barely cleaned the dash and seats. Omitted wiping down the console. Inside vacuum was half-ass at best. They agreed to vacuuming all floors PLUS the back hatch are. Floors were only ok when done but the hatch are was not vacuumed at all. In fact it dirtier than when I took it there. They tried to suck me into a $149 service and now I'm glad I didn't. 1 Star - Shockingly Poor Quality for the Price I brought my Porsche GTS to Beach Cities Car Wash in Venice for a $90 hand wash, tipped $20, and left with one of the dirtiest cars I've ever picked up from a car wash. Total spend: $110 -- and I'm honestly embarrassed for them. The windows and windshield were still visibly filthy. The exterior was poorly cleaned overall. As for the interior, the "hand wash" includes only a quick vacuum and a light wipe of the top of the dash -- nothing else. They do not wipe down the steering wheel, center console, doors, seats, or interior surfaces at all. There isn't even a reasonably priced option to upgrade for a basic interior wipe-down, which is baffling at this price point. For context, my car is impeccably maintained, washed weekly, completely emptied, and already clean -- this was not a trashed vehicle needing a full detail. It was ready for a simple, thorough wipe-down, which they simply don't do. If you care at all about a clean interior or properly cleaned windows, this is not the place. Easily one of the worst car wash experiences I've had in Los Angeles. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Possibly the worst car wash I ever had - they even broke the back cover of my seat. When I asked the guy who cleaned it he just shrugged it off and signaled me to move the car as others were waiting. Thankfully, we were able to fix it with superglue from Staples around the corner. Paid full service with a premium for a large vehicle - and they "forgot" the tires and to vacuum the car. I know it won't fully clean the undercarriage, but this time it looked like nothing touched it at all--as if I paid for the basic wash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been going here for 5 years, and l've never had a negative experience with the staff or the car wash itself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Most of the time, I go with the basic wash, which costs $18. I bring a couple of microfiber towels to dust off the dashboard and other surfaces. You get 5 minutes at the self-serve vac station, which is more than enough. The only time l've seen them enforce the 5-min limit is when it's really busy. I've gone through the car wash after off-roading, and it does a pretty good job of getting rid of all the dirt. They spray your car with a power washer at the beginning of the wash, but sometimes, when there's only one person working, they only spray one side of my truck. l've also had pollen spots that didn't come off completely. For the basic exterior wash, I'd give it a 3.5/5. I usually tip $3-5 to workers that wipe off the water at the end of the wash. (Make sure you open your door to hand them money instead of rolling down the window so you don't get streaks on your window.) When I return from snowboarding trips, I usually get the silver wash to clean the salt off the undercarriage of my truck. They do a better job removing the pollen spots from the exterior, the tires look great, I would give exterior 4/5. They do a decent job vacuuming the mats and cleaning the console. For the interior clean with the silver wash, l'd rate it a 3.5/5. I usually tip $5-7 for the silver wash. I purchased the interior detail package with a regular exterior wash as a birthday gift for a girl I was dating. They did an excellent job, and she was really happy with it. I'd give them a 5/5 for the interior detail. I tipped $30 for interior detail. read more

i hate writing bad reviews but this was such a disappointing experience. i paid $30 for a car wash after getting up-sold that i "needed" the wash above the one i initially requested... when i got in my car, there was obvious rocks on the floor, dust on the dash, a scuff on the inner door, dust on center console. when i asked about this, they said that wasn't included in the wash not sure what i paid $30 for? a drive through car wash and unfinished basic inside vacuum and wipe down. wouldn't recommend this spot :( read more

I think most people are only gonna rate a car wash when they have bad service so I wanted to make sure to rate them for their great service. It's cheap, fast, and good. I'm not trying to make a clunker look like a luxury car. I have a 2yo suv that I take care of so I'm just trying to keep it simple. Soap it up, wash it off, wipe it down. They do that and I tip em $5. Is my seat moved sometimes? Yes. Do they occasionally miss a spot? Yes. Do I get what I pay for? Also yes! If you want detail or have a car that's been run through hell and back? Maybe expect different results or pay for that extra service... Also be nice and you will have niceness returned. read more

Great car wash! The guys always do a good job making my car squeeky clean again, there's free Starbucks coffee inside, and you can sit and relax under the shade while your car is ready. However the #1 reason I come here is because of TRACY at the cashier. This lovely woman always brightens up my day with her smile and personable, cheerful service. First time at this car wash and I was disappointed. The staff was friendly and polite but that's not why I went. The inside of my car was vacuumed in certain places. This was obvious from the areas that were missed and were still dirty. My hood got messed up because they forced my windshield wiper to come up. You cannot do this on my car!!! You have to open the hood then lift the wipers. Uhhh so upset about this. It's all I see when I'm diving. My poor hood paint missing on the edge. Then my tires and inside of the car, on the floor looked exactly as it did when I came in. It's so upsetting paying for a service and then no one can deliver on it. read more

Good thing they offer a 48 hour rain check :) Been coming to this car wash for years, it's just my go to place and I ain't changing it. Always nice to see the same faces and get that extra attention to detail. Reasonably priced, especially if you have a coupon, experienced staff and fairly quick. They offer complimentary coffee and cookies, there's a little gift shop with trinkets, drinks, car accessories & snacks, inside & outside seating, bathrooms,and payment activated massage chairs if you're really in that mood. Once done and flag you down, I usually look it over and politely ask for some extra tlc in spots they may have missed. They are always willing to accommodate. read more

When I drove out and into the sun, the windows were so smeared it was hard to see through them. The interior had dust left everywhere, rims left streaked, tires badly dressed. It does the job. It's fast, puts water and soap on the car, and there's a brief drying process. I had a lot of water marks left on the car. In a way, it looked dirtier after the wash than it did after the rain. It's a great place for an express wash if you haven't had a car wash in months. Super friendly staff, they get the job done quickly but well, and the price is decent. Spend your money elsewhere. My daughter brought the car in to be washed. When she returned, the car clearly needed to be run through again. Dirt haze remained on the lower sides, pollen still remained over most of the hood / sides, and the bird do that was on the top was only partially cleaned. I returned to ask to have the care run through again, and was told by the attendant that the car is considered clean and they charge more to remove pollen or do a more thorough job. There are a number of other car wash choices in the area to consider that do a much better job for the same price. The wash job was at the level of a gas station automated wash. Better alternatives: Bonus, Millennium (both on Lincoln) and Handy-J. Better job, better customer service. Same price and no upsell for services that should be included in a basic charge. read more
