It is right around the corner from where I stay, so it is a great location for me. There are also tons of other shops around this, so it is not hard to find! When I first walked in, there was already a lot of people waiting, so I assumed it must be good if there's a wait! I ordered a medium iced caramel latte and a chocolate glazed donut. I was served my donut right away, but had to wait for my coffee. There really isn't anywhere to wait besides grabbing an open table if you can find one. It is pretty small in here, so just be prepared to wait along the wall or just in the middle of the shop, which everyone was doing so I wasn't bothered by it at all. The donut was a great chocolate glazed donut, just what I was looking for. The coffee was also pretty good! Exactly what an iced Carmel latte should taste like. Coffeee Shoppe delivered on both fronts! I originally visited this cute little shop on 30A to get caffeinated but then I also felt the call to order some food. The baked goods in the case were super tempting, as was the Avocado Toast, but I eventually went with breakfast tacos. They were fairly basic with just eggs, cheese and avocados but they were the perfect pairing for my black, cold brew. The interior of the shop was nice, very chill. No one was particularly moving at a fast pace, myself included!

They seemed a little overwhelmed by the amount of people coming in. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for things more than once because it was hard to get someone's attention, but it honestly felt more like they were stretched thin than being inattentive. One thing I noticed is that the menu is huge. They have everything from bakery items and breakfast to lunch, coffee, smoothies, full birthday cakes, and a lot more. Personally, I think they may have tried to do too much right out of the gate, and a smaller menu at the beginning might have made things run a little smoother while they get established. The arepas were taking quite a while, but I want to give credit where it's due. The woman making the arepas actually came out and explained that they had experienced a power issue earlier, which was causing delays. I really appreciated that instead of just leaving customers wondering what was happening. The only thing that genuinely confused me was ordering an arepa pelúa and being told it didn't come with cheese. As a Venezuelan, that caught me off guard since a traditional pelúa is shredded beef and cheese. Mine ended up coming with just the shredded beef. Maybe it's their own version of it, but I think calling it a shredded beef arepa would have been a little less confusing. The bakery items were good. Not the most amazing Venezuelan bakery I've ever had, but definitely enjoyable and enough to cure a little homesickness. The coffee was actually one of my favorite parts because it really reminded me of the coffee you get back home in Venezuela. Overall, if you're in the Santa Rosa Beach or 30A area, I think it's worth checking out. There aren't many Latin food options around there, and you can tell there's a lot of effort and passion behind what they're building. Spanish: La verdad, el lugar está súper lindo. No sé si es una adaptación propia del restaurante, pero quizás habría sido más claro llamarla simplemente arepa de carne mechada. La panadería estaba rica. No diría que fue la mejor que he probado, pero sí estaba buena y definitivamente me quitó un poco la nostalgia. Los cafés me gustaron muchísimo porque tienen ese sabor que me recordó bastante a los cafés de Venezuela. En general, si estás por Santa Rosa Beach o por la zona de 30A, creo que vale la pena visitarlo. No hay demasiadas opciones latinas por esa área y se nota que están poniendo mucho esfuerzo y corazón en el proyecto.

It reminds me of a mid-century diner or service station that you would have seen on historic Route 66. While indeed a mid-century building dating back to the 1950s, it was originally a cottage in Seagrove Beach. I love that the owners had the historic cottage relocated when it was threatened by a new subdivision being built in Seagrove. The logistics at Cowgirl Kitchen are that you order inside and then a server will bring the food out to you. We choose to sit on the front patio for a serene environment but I can tell the people out back at Boxcar Annie's were having a great time enjoy live music and cocktails. For food we had a round of grouper sandwiches and a side of chips. My sandwich was good. My sister's was undercooked - pink and jelly-like at the thickest portion. I am sure the staff would have been glad to remedy the situation but we frankly didn't feel like waiting in line at the counter again and then waiting for them to put the fish back on the flattop, or however its cooked. She ate around the undercooked part and we moved on with our day. Another thing that is nice about Cowgirl Kitchen is that it's right net to "The Stalls of 30A" - a unique and fun shopping experience. The rolls were excellent if you would rather have the more traditional Nigiri or Sashimi they have those options as well. We had the spicy salmon and Mahi machi rolls and they were so delicious that we ordered another round!! Which brings me to the last item as we were too full to try any desert a friend and I did opt for the Wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned. While it was good it just seems to taste like the other original we had ordered. Perhaps there was a mixup or that was the intent, but the price didn't back up the difference which was more expensive. YMMV on that one but something to keep in mind. We ordered the wagyu beef stir fry which was decent, and slightly on the sweet side. The white rice was very dry. The fried rice was also on the sweet side and the chicken was way over cooked. The peanut noodles was ok, not something that I would recommend. The 2 dishes that I would recommend are the Spicy Seafood that comes with noodles and their Ramen. The broth for the Ramen was very flavorful. The Spicy Seafood dish came with calamari, scallops and shrimp and the sauce was spicy and not overly sweet. The fam also enjoyed their fried cheese cake dessert which I didn't try. Be warned, this is a very expensive Asian restaurant so be prepared to spend some money. Our waiter was great and very attentive. I didn't get to check out the decor inside because we were sat outside which was not ideal because it has a view of the parking lot. But I'm sure it was really nice inside based on the menu price.
