My master bedroom got flooded due to a clog in the sewer line. So I called Beach Plumbing. Richard and Greg arrived within 15 minutes. Theses guys were very friendly and took their time evaluating the problem. Richard took his shoes off before going in the house. They recommended video camera drain inspection to find the clog. They had me watch the monitor as the camera traveled through the sewer line. The clog was due to TAMPONS that had accumulated over the years. Sunday night my sewer main line backed up. Did same 4 months earlier too. At that time I used another company. Prior guy claimed when he hit the blockage he pushed it into the city line. 4 months later "last night," blocked again. Searched Yelp read the reviews for Beach. I called Richard, early Monday morning, and he and Dave at my house 2 hours latter. They hit one spot (obstruction) and kept going and hit another. Next thing I hear the "whoosh" sound and both bathrooms toilets and tubs drained just like the prior company. BUT When Richard and Dave pulled the cable out, massive amounts of roots. Well of course it was roots, BUT the prior company pulled no roots and both that company and Beach hit the same two obstructions. The size of Richards machine and claw was the difference. This is the second time I have called Fabian and he has been awesome. We first used Beach Plumbing to clear roots out of our main. Then just recently used them to fix a broke pipe in our front yard. Greg is Awesome...Very straight forward...no BS...will tell you what is really needed and will not up-sell to get more money out of you. I had a problem with my Sewer Line and was told by another plumber that the roots in the line are the only thing keeping the line up and that I need to replace said line for $8,000.... Called Greg and he used his blades to tear out the Roots for less than $100... He confirmed that I did not have any problems with my sewer line and that all I really have to do is this annual maintenance with the blades to clear my sewer line once a year (I have a city tree..whose roots go into my line). Richard and his crew came out to my house today. Before calling them I did a little detective work and kind of knew what was going on. Richard came on time and basically reconfirmed what we have all expected, a broken pipe somewhere under the house. Richard tested for slab leak, which return back negative so that is good. He gave me a few advice on how to determine what might be causing the issue and to call him back. I was expecting him to charge me some sort of a fee, but we shook hands and he said its was FREE. I found Richard on Yelp and all the good reviews on here are spot on. I had a backed up kitchen sink and I tried to snake it myself, no luck. Turns out my clog was about 30ft down and I only had a 25ft snake. Anyway, Richard showed up on time, did the job quickly and even took his shoes off before entering the house. He's a real nice guy and he is very reasonably priced. I also asked if we needed to worry about replacing the main sewer line because we live in an older home, he responded by telling me that we shouldn't worry about that unless there is a leak.
