He squeezed us into his schedule today (Tuesday) and did a substantial repipe of our house.. We iniatially met Nemo from E-Z Flow Rooter & Plumbing when we hired the company to scope a 70+ year old cast iron sewer line for a new property we purchased. From the first time we met Nemo he exceeded our expectations. He gave us an honest assessment of our system and at no time did we feel he was making any recommendations simply for profit. My wife and I started out the new year with a major clog in our very old cast iron pipes. E-Z Flow was one of the companies we got out to assess our problem and quote us for replacing the old cast iron. They were extemely thorough, efficient, and affordable. Nemo provided multiple different approaches and went out of his way to ensure a proper assessment of the issue. They were not the absolute cheapest quote, but more than reasonable for the quality of work and attentiveness of their company. They got out to replace the cast iron pipes two days after the quote and were able to replace all vertical and horizontal pipes for one bathroom, a kitchen, and laundry, in a single day. Completely professional and even went out of their way to fix a leak from the bathroom sink that was not attributed to the drain as a follow up. It was a Friday night going into a three-day holiday weekend when I stepped outside and found my lawn completely flooded. I shut off the main water line and scheduled a few plumbers for the next day to get quotes (because contractors can be hit or miss). Andy, the owner of EZ Flow, had the earliest availability at 8am. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and walked me through multiple options. I felt so comfortable with Andy that I cancelled my other appointments--early bird gets the worm. The galvanized pipe between my main line and irrigation had broken, but we didn't know how far it ran. Andy initially capped it with a shut-off valve so I could get my water back on quickly, and suggested a landscaper handle the digging since plumbers charge more per hour. Since it was a three-day weekend, I decided to dig up the galvanized pipe myself to see where it ended. I'd rather have Andy handle the replacement than try to find a landscaper. It turned out to be only about 4-5 feet. On his second visit, Andy replaced my old main water valve and then replaced the galvanized section with PVC, getting my irrigation system fully working again. He also fixed a backyard spout while he was here. Andy is punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. BRAVO! If I could give E-Z Flow Rooter and Plumbing 1000 stars, I would! Andy and his entire crew are AMAZING! Our drains had been slowing down for a while, but when the tubs and showers started backing up brown, yucky water, we knew we were in trouble. We called several rooter and plumbing companies for estimates, but Andy was one of only two companies who actually went down under the house (we're on a raised foundation) and took comprehensive pictures, diagnosed our problems, and gave a free estimate. His diagnosis was in line with the other estimates we received and his prices were very reasonable! (I really did my homework and compared 7-8 companies.) We knew we had a huge project ahead of us. The main sewer line was the main issue and the reason why the water was backing up, BUT we also had a lot of corrosion, leaking and even wood damage due to our cast iron pipes slowly falling apart and other leaks that we did not know about. This could have been a very stressful situation, knowing that this was going to be a messy and cost us a fortune to clear the main line AND re-drain our entire home, but Andy made this whole process seamless and even enjoyable! LOL! His recommendation was to install a main clean-out so that it doesn't back up into the house again (which our home did not have) and then see what was causing the back-up. He put cameras in the main line and there were a bunch of root intrusions in the clay pipes. So they hydro-jetted and lined the existing clay pipe in order to repair the cracks and offsets caused by the roots. This was a really cool process to watch! Then they started working on all the corroded pipes under the house. They estimated to finish ALL of this work in only two days and THEY DID! Andy made sure to explain each step as they were working, and even educated us on what caused some of the damage and how to prevent the same issues in the future. But with all new ABS now, we won't have to worry about many of the problems we were having before. Andy's entire crew showed up on day 1 of the job with positivity, professionalism and a "let's get this done" attitude, but what I really loved was that they were so FUN! LOL! I got to know them all by name: Andy, Nemo, Jose, Carlos, Jerry, Leo and we honestly had a blast all day long for 2 days in a row. They never complained, even though they were dealing with sewer water and corroded, gross pipes. Especially Jerry and Nemo, they had to be in the damp, dirty crawl space all day (for two days) and were still laughing and positive the WHOLE time! Andy is so easy going and easy to communicate with. He didn't nickel and dime us, he gave the estimate in separate portions depending on what we needed. He didn't do anything unnecessary, AND he fixed and changes out parts that weren't even part of the job, just out of the goodness of his heart! AND he was patient and so understanding when he had to go to the City TWICE because of an issue on my part regarding our permits. I know this review is long, but I can't say enough about how awesome his entire crew has been. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to find an honest/reliable plumber these days, but I literally could not get a single referral from any of my friends/colleagues for a reliable rooter/plumber. But now that I've found Andy, I will use him for ALL of my plumbing needs! And, I've already referred him to three of our neighbors! One side note though. E-Z Flow is a Rooter and Plumbing company and an amazing one at that! They definitely took out and comprehensively hauled away all the trash and debris, they lined and taped the areas they would be walking on and even put plastic covers on the areas that would get a lot of dust! But what they are not is a housecleaning service, so don't expect them to leave your house spotless. LOL! You will have to deep clean after. But I'll take that any day for all the incredible work that they did! That's a no brainer! Can't thank you enough, E-Z Flow Rooter & Plumbing! I have to say this was one of the best plumbing services I have ever had. Our kitchen faucet stopped working 2 days before my daughters graduation party. I called another plumber and they said they did not have any openings and could put me on the wait list for the next day. I called E-Z flow from finding them on yelp. They had a guy come out in 30 min. He figured out the problem in like 3 min. I asked if I get a faucet that day would he be able to install it the next day? He said he could and scheduled an appointment for me in the morning. I went and got the faucet and he installed the next day. Come to find out he also fixed my garbage disposal which was not draining correctly and plug the disposal into the appropriate outlet located on the back wall under our sink. My last plumber just left it unplugged and I would have to plug it in and out to use it. This was a very pleasant surprise to me. That outlet is not easy to get to but he did it. Wish I could remember the plumbers name because he was excellent. I pray I never have any plumbing issues again but if I do, E-Z flow will definitely get my business. read more

E-Z Flow completed a whole-house repipe, main line replacement, and drain line replacement for me. I obtained multiple quotes, and Andy was the only person who did a full inspection under the house and alerted me to an active gray water leak. He immediately connected me with a remediation company, and the soil was remediated the next day. Andy coordinated with them to complete a temporary fix, allowing me to use my sink and washing machine in the meantime. In preparing a quote for the actual work, Andy was thoughtful in advising which items actually needed replacement and which weren't necessary. Due to the excellent communication and the effort he put into identifying the leak, I hired E-Z Flow for the project. In addition to all new PEX that replaced end-of-life galvanized pipes, a significant number of remaining cast-iron drain pipes were removed, and a new water main and leak detection system with auto-shutoff were installed. They also conducted a sewer main inspection and showed me a video of the major degradation of the cast-iron lines. I ended up having those replaced as well, which required trenchless pipe bursting. Andy called in extra crew members to ensure everything was done on time. The crew was friendly, treated my home with respect, communicated with me throughout, and always gave me multiple options on how to proceed.
