Just mention you saw the coupon on Yelp or online. No appointment is needed, which made it even more convenient. I stopped by on a weekday around 9:00 AM, and there was no line. I was greeted right away by Angel, who made the entire process easy. He gave clear instructions from start to finish and kept everything moving smoothly. There are two waiting areas: an indoor lounge with a couch and a small beverage station and a covered outdoor seating area. I was excited to see one of my favorite sodas, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, in the fridge! They also have a Keurig for coffee, which would be nice in the morning, although the coffee station looked a little dusty, so I decided to skip it. They definitely lived up to their promise. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, my MDX passed, and Angel explained that my smog certificate would be electronically sent to Sacramento within about 30 minutes. Woo hoo! As a nice bonus, if you pass, they give you a free car wash card at H2Go, which was a pleasant surprise. The shop can service two cars at a time, and everything was clean, organized, and efficient. Thursday, July 30, 2026 - Folks, all of the glowing reviews are quite correct. We moved to Huntington Beach about a year ago from Costa Mesa. After many years of using our local Mesa Smog (on 19th), I wanted a closer place to our new address. The great reviews here convinced me. This is really IT. Now let's be honest, you _might_ be able to nickel-and-dime your way to a little less money elsewhere. But don't. My 2013 Volvo S60 (at the time of this writing) was $65.00 (including Certificate). A fine deal. I pulled right in, left the car running and they literally registered me at the desk, got all my info, printed everything out, offered me a cold drink ... and before I could even pop open the ice-cold Diet Coke, the car was done and passed. In and out in about fifteen minutes or so. Incredibly nice and helpful. You're a grown-up right (presumably), so make it easy on yourself and go ahead and go for the reliable, good and quick service ... and pay the nice people their fair price. This was the best experience I've ever had in this situation. I know that "recommend us to your friends" is the mantra of every business, but in this case I truly will! (PS: It's always "Pass or Don't Pay" and every "Pass" gets a coupon for a free car wash at H2Go Car Wash ... down the street on Beach or over on Edinger near Gothard) ... that sweetens the deal even more.) read more

8-22-2025. This is only the third time I've ever had a smog check. So happy that I took my car to this establishment. Alexander responded to my request on yelp and informed me that they're open all 7 days from 8am 6pm. So convenient. I got there about 2:55pm and my smog was done within 12 min. I only paid $65 and got a certificate for a free car wash up the street - valid for a month. I had an outstanding experience here. This a drive thru smog station with awesome customer service. They were prepared, knowledgeable, and friendly. They contacted me immediately and set a the appt and then provided instructions on how to get there and what to do when i arrived. They guided me to where to the car would be inspected then offered me water, coffee or a carbonated beverage and a place to sit while they performed the service. It was a little bit busy when I came on a Wednesday morning around 11, I waited about half an hour in the small parking lot before getting waved in.
