Just mention you saw the coupon on Yelp or online. No appointment is needed, which made it even more convenient. I stopped by on a weekday around 9:00 AM, and there was no line. I was greeted right away by Angel, who made the entire process easy. He gave clear instructions from start to finish and kept everything moving smoothly. There are two waiting areas: an indoor lounge with a couch and a small beverage station and a covered outdoor seating area. I was excited to see one of my favorite sodas, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, in the fridge! They also have a Keurig for coffee, which would be nice in the morning, although the coffee station looked a little dusty, so I decided to skip it. They definitely lived up to their promise. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, my MDX passed, and Angel explained that my smog certificate would be electronically sent to Sacramento within about 30 minutes. Woo hoo! As a nice bonus, if you pass, they give you a free car wash card at H2Go, which was a pleasant surprise. The shop can service two cars at a time, and everything was clean, organized, and efficient. Great customer service, great value, and a hassle-free experience. I'll definitely be back the next time my smog check is due. See you next year!

Pros based on other local business reviews: - Live person running the business - others seemed automated/impersonal - $55 for smog, I think that was the lowest I could find. Add'l fee for card payment processing - He has a waiting room Also, my tire sensor light has historically been on... some kind of glitch. Joey still checked my tire pressure (which is so appreciated since I am horrible at remembering to check)... he also identified the sensor issue, where previous service providers have tried to use the tire light as an up sale on a fake "issue". I wanted to highlight this as someone who appreciates good people and local companies. By the time I left he had 2 other customers patiently waiting - I hope customers continue to support Joeys local business!

Long review but please read the whole thing before deciding to trust this location…read more Our truck popped a tire on the freeway and we ended up having to leave it overnight in a parking lot that happened to be right next to this Jiffy Lube (8971 Warner). We didn't have the tire size written down and didn't want to drive all the way out there, look at the tire, and still not have what we needed, so I called and asked if someone could just walk out and read me the size off the sidewall. I remember feeling a little embarrassed asking, like it was a weird favor, but the guy said sure and went out to check. When he came back on the phone, before actually telling me the size, he mentioned that they also do tires and could order one and get it installed same day. I told him I wanted to talk to my husband first but asked for the size anyway just so we had it. He hesitated a bit before giving it to me, which I didn't think much of at the time honestly. We talked it over and decided to let them order the tire since it seemed easier. About 45 minutes later one of the guys called back and apologized, saying it actually wouldn't come in until the next day. That wasn't going to work for us because the truck had already been sitting in that lot almost 24 hours and leaving it another night wasn't an option, and towing it home would have cost close to what the repair itself would cost. So we told them we'd just buy a tire ourselves and bring it in for them to put on. They agreed and said that was fine. We bought a tire matching the size they gave us and drove almost an hour back to the shop like we'd planned. When we got there they told us the manager wasn't comfortable installing a tire we hadn't bought from them, so they turned us away. After driving all that way and already spending the money on the tire, that alone was a pretty frustrating way to end the day. We ended up calling a mobile tire company instead, and they were great, but when they got there and looked at the tire we bought, they told us it was the wrong size. Not close, just wrong. I went and checked the other tires on the truck myself and confirmed it. Because of that the mobile company had to scramble to find us a different tire on short notice, and the price for that ended up being a lot higher than it should have been, all because we were working off bad information to begin with. I try not to assume the worst about people, but when I think about the order of everything, they didn't want to give me the size until after they'd already brought up doing the tire themselves, then the size they gave me was wrong, then they refused to install the tire we bought because of their own mistake. Maybe it was just bad luck and genuine incompetence, but it really felt like we got strung along so we'd end up having no choice but to use them. Instead it cost us more money and more stress on a day that was already hard enough. Just be careful trusting anything this location tells you over the phone.

You fill out a sheet with your information which takes less than a minute. Tuan informed me they used to have a coupon, but now they just charge a flat fee of $50 for cars. READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE HIRING DENNIS!!!…read more I came here for a diagnostic. My vehicle was making noise and I paid Dennis his Diagnostic Fee. He hooked his computer to my vehicle and said it's a misfire. He told me he would check the spark plugs and he would call me when he was done. Dennis called about an hour and a half later. He said he checked the spark plugs and they were fine. He said I need a new engine. I was not satisfied with his diagnosis and drove to a second mechanic. This second shop diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a couple hundred dollars. BUT HERE'S THE REASON FOR THE NEGATIVE REVIEW. The 2nd mechanic showed me the spark plugs. They WERE NOT fine as Dennis said. In fact, the spark plug wires were completely fried!! Which Dennis would have seen if he even looked, let alone remove them to test the plugs, as he said he did. So Dennis LIED!!! TOOK MY MONEY AND DID NOT DO THE SERVICE HE CHARGED FOR. I am attaching a photo for proof. PLEASE! Go to an honest mechanic and not one who charges you money for a service he clearly didn't perform.
