SEASIDE HEIGHTS: Seaside Social House is right in the heart of town and is a great restaurant with a menu known for their unique style of pizza. They also have sandwiches, salads, wraps, and apps in addition to a great cocktail list and full bar. Their outdoor patio is dog friendly and we love that they open the doors between the main restaurant and the patio to feel like you are part of the same space. Most of the outdoor tables are covered by the roof and has Key West themed decor. Tropical and no non-sense vibes make it a great place to hang out. The patio is also home to Conch Corner serving crushes with freshly squeezed juices. We had a fun night at Yappy Hour with Hopey and Marshmallow who explore dog friendly places in NJ! Yappy Hour featured $7 fresh squeezed crushes and a $7 Salty Dog cocktail. Yappy Hour is every Saturday from 5-8pm. We were also treated to live music and free tastings of Long Drink, a gin canned cocktail. Seaside may be strict with the beach and boardwalk rules (no dogs allowed), but there are plenty of fun places to chill with your pup. read more

A rainy Saturday night in mid Oct may have not been the best time to visit. But we did. I can totally tell this place must jump during the warmer months. The night we went was a bit mellow. There were people at the bar at the service was good. The place looks much nicer outside vs inside. The beers were good, one tap line was frozen so only Miller light on tap. We opted for bottled beer and their ricotta pizza with pepperoni and hot honey. It was good stuff. Nice and fluffy with a nice crunchy crust. I need to go and try their margherita pie. All in all no complaints, I need to visit in July. read more

We attended a private party here this weekend. Upstairs room is spacious, with a private bar, bathrooms, and rooftop space. Our bartender and server was so polite, kind, and made fantastic drinks. He was awesome! Lots of tasty food came out, including some pizzas, cheeseburger sliders, clams, cheesesteak egg rolls, fried zucchini, and chicken tenders and fries. We enjoyed everything. I'd definitely come back if in the area. Very clean, new spot. read more

I loved my first visit here and will definitely be back. Hubby and I went for dinner on a Thursday. Staff was great and food was delicious. We had wings, burger and chicken sandwich. They had reps from Patron and we had the option to make our margaritas pedaling a bike. Now that's incentive to exercise! lol Besides that, there was DJ Ed and he played my favorite songs. Order the calamari!!! Came here with a few girlfriends and was extremely satisfied. The portions are huge; pizzas can easily be shared. Also loved the variety of pizzas offered. very cute establishment ! the bar is the main focal point of the main room but it's very pretty and works. the enter place is huge and even when there's a good amount of people, you don't feel packed in. we over ordered food - not mad at having left overs! the pizzas are huge and delicious. we had a margarita pie, which is more of a focaccia style, fluffy/airy base. great sauce ! the zucchini fritters and meatballs were 10/10! when we walked in there were only 2 girls running around so the guys up front cooking let us know to grab a seat and we'd be greeted shortly. no issue with that! i felt bad they were under staffed as far as servers went but our food came out in a very short amount of time & our order was correct - which is all you can ask for ! again upon leaving, the gentlemen cooking asked us how everything was and were very polite ! i'll be back for sure to try other pies and hang out at the bar. read more

We popped in for a drink and some apps mid afternoon and were able to sit right away. We ordered a round of drinks which were good and 4 appetizers to share. We got mozzarella sticks, zucchini fritters, cheesesteak egg roll and the buffalo chicken egg roll. The zucchini was the best, followed closely by the cheesesteak egg roll. The sauce for the egg roll was very tasty. The others were good too. We were too hungry to snag any pics but food was presented well, however the plates are very large compared to the table, just something to note as we had to combine 3 appetizers onto one plate to have enough space at our outdoor hightop. The staff were very friendly and we spoke with the owner on our way out. There is a Key West connection here, as she mentioned they also live in Key West and I was wearing a t shirt from the Keys that she and an employee both commented on which I found pretty cool. We've been to this restaurant several times since it opened. Each time it was awesome! Great ambiance in the bar atmosphere. Service is spot on. Menu isn't crazy huge so it's easy to find something that fits your mood. The food is fresh, flavors excellent and extremely creative and tasty. Several staff members checked on us regularly because they were truly concerned and happy that we were happy with our food. I had the soft shell crab sandwich that was excellent!!! My hubby had the smash burger, which we have had before and has been awesome each time. So happy this restaurant opened, and hope it stays around! read more

Have the Brussels sprouts they were one of the best I've had and I'm 62! Drizzled with balsamic and almonds they were so crispy and flavorful. What a treat. Wow. A breath of fresh air in a town that's been devoid of great food for far too long (born and raised). The bonus is the kitchen is open late so after a long day I can enjoy a great meal (not dang cheese balls) at 11pm. Chicken parm, salad, pizza, all excellent. Pizza was super greasy but not terrible for NJ. The Italian sandwich was very tasty. The cheesesteak egg rolls were burnt. I can see them being tasty if not burnt. So glad this place is here!!! We tried the wings today and they were very tasty!!! (We used to go to Hemingway's for their wings but their customer service is absolutely horrendous.) FYI - owners are the same ones from Drifters and Xina... so expect the food to be delicious and the wait staff including chefs are top notch! .... So happy you're here!! What a great place! I have been here many times, but last night I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It was a breaded huge portobello mushroom with cheese and tomato sauce on a soft brioche roll. IT was a Shroom Parm Burger and it was so good! Seaside Social is a great place, relaxing atmosphere and food and staff are the best! I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite and an adult beverage! read more

Food here was great! Was staying around the block at the family beach house, and saw this was one of the top spots in seaside and decided to check it out. I ordered the meatballs which were good and had a slice of pepperoni pizza. Both were great, I wish the pepperoni was cooked into the cheese more, but I can't be too picky. The Brussels sprouts were also some of the best I've had...I loved the balsamic and craisisns touch to it. I liked the music they had playing and the waitress was very nice and friendly too! I'd def come back here and would recommend to anyone visiting the seaside area. read more

My family and I have been coming to Seaside my whole life, so we've tried most of the restaurants in the area and when we saw this new restaurant in town we decided to try it. It was very cute and modern looking. We had a big order as we were about 16 people. While service was great when we came to grab it, the food was very back and forth. Some of my family members liked it while others had no flavor. Pizza was all bread, no seasonings, and a smear of tomato. Sandwiches varied in taste, some good and others very under seasoned. Will try again maybe with a smaller group. read more

So had not heard of this until this week decided to try it. 3 tables at prime dinner hour of 6 should have been our first clue. The good.. staff were very attentive and worked well together. Specially cocktails were great as well. That's where it ends. Calamari was all tentacles and greasy. Mozzarella sticks cooked great but no flavor. Same with the meatball sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Just no flavor. Wish them well but way too much competition in the area that's good. We went thru town on way out. Only two waitresses working, one of which is a bartender. Took us an hour to get our food brought to the table. Management, put more people on the clock. Ordered a dessert that is called "Nutella cream pie". Was very excited for it, but it ended up just being fake Nutella on a piece of pizza bread and cut up bananas. Overall everyone loved their meals and all of us took home enough for another lunch or dinner. This is not our first time here and plan on returning again. They offer a dinner section, seating at the bar and some high top tables to fit your liking. Waitress service was top shelf and revisited the table on a frequent basis. If you want great meals at a fair price this is a place for you to at least try. Our bill plus soda and ice tea was barely $100. My only callout is the noise in the room is a bit loud.
