Such a cute spot & an amazing view! There is an inside area to eat with AC, and ample outdoor seating area as well. They serve liquor, wine, beer, and strawberry and orange mimosas. They also have live music on the weekends. If you're outside, you may get lucky and see the local dolphins. If you have a boat, there is a place to dock your boat. They have a brand new coffee machine to make cappuccinos and espresso martinis, which should be up and running here soon. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ordered the blackened mahi salad, but you can get chicken or grouper on it. They also have gluten-free options for buns. They do have parking, but if you're walkable, I'd recommend just walking over because the parking does fill up during high season. read more

Found a New Amazing Spot!! Right on water and perfect for a boat day. We had been looking for spots that had slips available and Beachcomber has just installed new bumpers and ropes. A staff member came to greet us as we were docking. We didn't need the help, but she was there just in case!! The night before, I was having trouble online figuring out if this was a food truck or brick and mortar restaurant. Well, let me clear that up! It is a yummy food truck right on the water. You place your order with Sidney (who was great.. quick, efficient, clear!) and then we saw two chefs inside and Two servers outside to run your food to you!! They were a well oiled machine!! Three of us chose the grilled grouper sandwich! We were offered a choice of cooking prep, choice of bun, and choice of side. ( I got salad rather than fries!) The success is in the details!! *grilled brioche buns, * amazing Ken's Tartar sauce! The fourth at our table was the Philly Cheese Steak! He loved it!! Buckets for the Beers!! Cindy was our server/food runner and she was great! Greeted us at the boat and answered some of our questions about the ongoing renovations!! (Sounds like indoor coffee and ice cream coming soon!!) Great to have another place to boat to on the ICW in the Englewood area, and dog friendly! My first time boating to a food truck. Had a really good patty melt that was so big I split it with my wife and we were both full. I understand from owner Kate that they are expanding, and will have beer and wine soon. I went to the restaurant for breakfast today and it was absolutely amazing. We sat outside and it was hot but they do have shade. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was great. There are flys that try to land on your food but they have a fan to get the flys away. I finished my meal with a dole whip pineapple ice cream cone and it was amazing. The service is also very good. With multiple refills on drinks and friendly staff this place is a great spot to go to. read more

This place is great, it looks all new inside and the patio outside is where it's at. Good drinks, good food, great ambiance. Watch the boats go by, listen to the live music, and watch the pelicans dive for fish. Prices are reasonable too! Peel and eat shrimp was very good as was the burger. I'm surprised it's not open past 8, it would be a great place to have cocktails and listen to live music at night. read more

The waitress was top notch and very pleasant. We were asked during lunch a number of times if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. There are numerous places to sit in and out of the sun. We sat in a shaded spot with a beautiful water view. The food we had came in a timely fashion and both our meals were wonderful. Enjoyed drinks & a light dinner last night with the most awesome view! If you have not been to The Beachcomber Trading Post you are missing the boat! They have the BEST food, VIEWS and AMBIANCE! Great music playing while relaxing in a tropical setting... right on the water!! They're open from 7AM to 8PM.. serving breakfast til 11 then lunch/dinner... Kylie was our server last night and she was perfect!! We enjoyed the smoked fish dip and it was really good.... not too smoky, just right .. could taste the fish but not 'fishy'....YUM! We loved the Mahi sandwich also... & great fries! Hate to talk it up so much as I will be sad when we can't get in as it's toooooo busy! ROAD SIGNAGE NOT GOOD... You're coming here for the ambiance. Outdoor seating is hard to beat, right on the canal! The food is made in a food truck, no shade, but it's not like 5 star food, if that's what you're looking for. I'd recommend at sunset, we got live music and the waitstaff was friendly. Food took a while to come out. I'd go back but manage your expectations :) read more

The Dole Whip is a perfect dessert treat. Have also enjoyed the croissant breakfast sandwich and donuts. My large iced decaf coffee was perfectly brewed and reasonably priced. Nice waterfront seating. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. read more

Really disappointed after reading the reviews... Don't order the Philly cheesesteak. It was undersized overcooked chopped up grizzle. Didn't look the other reviewed pics. And recommended over the Burger. My daughter ordered the burger and it looks great... we waited a long time for our food. Our server came to check on us 15 mins after food came. And I obviously got the bottom of the fry basket with about 30% of the fries of everybody else... Poor luck at the draw. It's too bad. This place looks really cute. We went for breakfast on Easter Sunday. The weather was nice and we sat outside-a bit windy but just so nice to sit and dine out by the water. The service was wonderful and the food was very good! The portions were ample. Toward the end of our meal the live music started. That was pretty good as well. We saw a few characters ride by in boats. We could not resist walking to the end of the property to sit in the Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view. Only draw back is the tight parking, but it worked. This place was a surprise. My wife picked it and I agreed to try it. Food truck with plenty of outside seating along the water. My wife had the burger and i have the cheese steak. Both came with fries. The fries were cooked great, crispy on the outside side and soft on the inside and served hot. My cheesesteak was so hot I needed to let it cool a bit before eating, once I did, it was very good. My wife's burger was served the way she asked for it. It was a fresh hand made patty. The weather was perfect for a beachside breakfast. We drove by and saw a sign for coffee and donuts. The place is adorable inside. Super clean and bright. We were pleasantly surprised they also had several breakfast options like sandwiches and burritos. Our waitress was super sweet and welcoming to us since we are new to the area. Parking-a little tight but we have a big truck- lunch on a Monday Ambience-perfect-quiet with birds chirping in The background. By the water- arandock chairs avail for lounging!! They have live music Tues-sun we were told. The outdoor furniture is a sunny yellow-clean and like new!! Very welcoming!! Food-excellent-fish dip was seasoned perfectly and came w a large assortment of veggies-no need to get chips! Peel shrimp-big and again seasoned very well. Cesaer salad-lots of chicken and the dressing was creamy and spot on! Service-the girls were great! Kept checking on us the whole time! Honestly it was hard to leave!! A hidden gem! This place was so good! Even though it was a bit chilly, we ordered our food and sat at the surfboard tables by the water. They have heaters so we were so cozy! My burger was juicy and flavorful, seasoned perfectly and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak- seriously the best he's ever had! They know what they are doing! Very nice server but horrible food. Two of us had " blackened " mahi mai sandwich. There was zero spice on it and the fish was so overcooked. Why do people in tourist places overcook their expensive fish. All 4 of us left most of our food behind. $100 down the drain. Not coming back for sure.
